So we had to wait 30min to get it, and when I asked if they would offer a free appetizer, for the inconvenience. The manager said that they would not do that. So to me that is just bad business. We went there for dinner, I had the Orange Chicken and my husband had some other spicy chicken dish. We also each had an egg roll. The eggrolls were delicious. Both of our food came and was lukewarm. My chicken actually was frozen in the center. We asked the server to take it back and heat it up. They heated it up in the microwave and brought it back to us. While it was steamy hot I discovered that you can't heat orange chicken in the microwave. It gets soggy! When they could see that I was not eating anything they asked me if I needed something else. At that point I just said no and my husband and I shared his. His dish was OK. But for something that was supposed to be spicy it wasn't a bit. I do have to say the service was excellent and the atmosphere is nice. The people next to us ordered the sizzling beef and it looked delicious. Plus it was hot. They did take my orange chicken off the bill. I may try it again but would have to be for lunch. I have to say I was very embarrassed. I have never ever sent foot back to the kitchen. When we left we paid our bill and I'm sure my husband left the generous tip, after all it wasn't the waiter's fault. read more

I live in Rothschild and decided to treat myself to a delivered dinner. I ordered the Grilled Curry Chicken and an order of Crab Rangoon. Wow, really great food! Nice coconut /thai /cilantro /flavor. It was spicy without being hot and plenty left over for my lunch tomorrow. And I didn't even have to go get it! The price, including delivery was $16.00. It was $2.00 for delivery regardless whether it was one meal or twenty. It arrived as promised in 35 minutes. An awesome deal. I feel spoiled! They have a great website with a full menu. As a vegetarian I was excited to see a pretty good sized vegetarian section on the menu including vegetarian sushi options. However the lunch menu packs in CRAB Rangoon so I requested they substitute their spinach Rangoon. I was told they were out of the spinach Rangoon so I requested a reduction in cost of the meal or a vegetarian egg roll instead. I was told they "can't" reduce the cost of the meal and the egg roll isn't an equivalent substitution. I was also told they have many vegetarian customers and they've never complained about the crab Rangoon before because it's imitation crab...imitation crab is made of fish which is not vegetarian. They have decent food (not the best but not the worst) as I've eaten there before but I won't any more since they are so unwilling to please their customers. read more

By far the best sushi place in town. The whole menu is outstanding but the service is by far the worst. There are always tons of empty dirty tables and the waitresses are rude and rushed, the hostess girl at the bar is awful to deal with she is so rude and is on her phone more than talking to customers. It's hard when the food is so good but be prepared to be treated like crap by most of the staff we usually order take out. read more

Stopped in on a whim while in town a few weeks ago. Originally went up for Texas Roadhouse, but didn't feel like waiting 50 minutes for a table for 2. Chang garden was a 35 minute wait, so we eventually found ourselves at Shanghai Grill. Glad we did!! Food was very good with excellent flavor and our waiter was attentive. Drinks never got below half full. Thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere and food. Will be back again soon!! read more

I had the tiger roll sushi which was not only a beautiful plate but it tasted amazing. My family had other dishes from the regular menu and they just raved about how good it was. The portions are big enough that you are taking food home with you! I will be coming back and will most definitely recommend this place to people!!!! read more

Love the food, but do not like the main lady That "greets" people at the front and tends to answer the phone. She is always very short with ppl, on her phone, angery, and is the reason we tend to order to go or delivery. If the food and sushi was not so good she would be the reason why we do not go there. read more

I don't Yelp but I felt the need to create an account to warn others of this place. I ordered out, the food was terrible and one dish had bits of wrapper in it. When I called to complain the manager got upset and told me I had no idea what I was talking about, he preceded to argue with me about the food, he accused me of trying to get a free meal and reluctantly refunded half my money. I wish I would have just ordered dinner from my usual restaurant. But I decided to order from Shanghai again and this time it was very disappointing! I ordered delivery and was missing two pad Thai noodles. And the two fried rice I received was the small containers. I thought it would be the big dinner containers like other restaurants. I called about my two missing pad Thai. And the girl wasn't very pleasant. She put me on hold and then said the driver was coming back with the rest of my food. Will not order from them again. Been here 3 times only and the last time we came here will be our last at Shanghai Grill. Me and my husband waited an hour and half just for 2 dishes and the people who came after us got their food first. My husband order the spicy stir fry which wasn't even spicy and I ordered the spicy/sour tom yum and it wasn't even spicy or sour. We were about to walk out. They didn't even apologize for the wait. I'm from Saint Paul Minnesota and have only lived in Schofield for a week, so I'm comparing this to places I've been to around the Twin Cities. It is the most thoroughly "meh" buffet I've ever been to. I saw the ratings online so I figured I'd have to check this place out. Me and my roommate went to the lunch buffet, which was a very reasonable price at 7 dollars. Then it went downhill. The noodles were way too salty, just dripping in soy sauce and whatever mixture they had it in. Their sushi was really bland and tasteless, although I may have thought that because the noodles were so incredibly salty that it just made everything else taste like nothing. Then again, it was the first time I've ever had sushi with sour cream in it. That was a surprise, not a good one. The broccoli and beef was overcooked. the meatballs were slightly burnt so they were kind of hard. The egg drop soup was average, not great, not bad. The fact that they had ice cream in tubs actually surprised me, and I thought that was kind of cool, but two flavors were empty and I didn't really like the other two (I think one was cotton candy and I can't remember what the other was). Service was polite and responsive, but overall the experience was definitely a let down because I saw such high ratings online. It was pretty dull. Don't get your hopes up. read more
