Placed an online order for delivery and requested some packets of hot mustard. I get an email from the delivery company informing me I am being charged an additional $1.21 for the hot mustard!!! I called them and asked why I am being charged extra and they inform me they don't carry packets of mustard and I am being charged for 1 cup. Who the hell needs 1 cup??? King Buffet 3/21/24 Very poor customer service We had only been to this restaurant once years ago, but tonight we went for the second time in 4 months. Both times the food was good overall. Some of the chicken was overcooked and some of it wasn't hot but that is to be expected in a buffet. It was clean and pleasant inside. But both times, the service wasn't just bad, it was non-existent. When we went in, a table was pointed out to us, no words. The waitress came over and said "drink". My husband asked what soda they had. She said Pepsi products so he ordered a Mountain dew and I ordered water. The waitress dropped off the drinks as she was walking past the table. No words were exchanged, no menu was left and we just sat there for a while waiting for her to come back. We never got a "do you need a menu, do you want the buffet, please go up when you are ready, please use a clean plate each time, so how is everything, do you need anything? Nothing. My husband had been planning on ordering off the menu that he had seen in the window but as we didn't even have menus at our table and our waitress never came back, we both just decided to get the buffet. Twice someone came by and just said "soda"? Part-way through the meal, a bill was laid on our table, again with no words. No "please pay me when you are ready, please pay at the front, how was everything, hope you come back again". Nothing. When we paid up front, we were met by a stony gentleman who also didn't say anything except "sign". I am a little shocked at the reviews that say the service was pleasant. I have repeatedly ordered delivery via a service from King Buffet at this location and have never been disappointed. My family and I used to frequent their buffet pre-COVID and it was always good, but typical buffet food. Since ordering delivery I've been impressed with the quality of the made-to-order food - and the prices are reasonable, which encourages me to order again and again. The crab Rangoon is delicious, coconut shrimp, pepper chicken - the egg foo young is the BEST IN THE AREA. My only recommendation is that they start including authentic Chinese spicy mustard with their crab Rangoon. Seriously, that's my only recommendation. Keep up the good work, King Buffet. read more

This is your generic small-town Chinese food buffet. There was nothing particularly great about this place, but no huge complaints. It's a bit rundown and grubby, but the food was alright and I didn't barf. If you desire Chinese food and want it asap, this will suffice ! read more

I now have a new favorite Chinese buffet, but I wanted to try here again to remember why I thought this was a great place. No change, it is still good food for a good price - and that is the key. Well, get past that this place is in a worn out mall (hope they remodel it soon). Here are the tricks to making it great. 1. Go for dinner around sunset so you can see the sun setting through the towering white pines about 400 yards away across the parking lot. 2. The food is inexpensive. 3. All the food tastes good, with a variety of dishes, and several simple satisfying desserts. Miss any one of the above 3 tricks, and this rating downgrades to "3 stars." I had the lunch buffet, the food wasn't all that hot, some of it was luke warm. There wasn't that much of a selection of food. The taste of food wasn't horrible but nothing stood out as tasting great. Staff was friendly. Price was fair for a lunch buffet. Everything looked clean. Biggest issue I had was that they dont have the ability to give you receipt which is ridiculous. I personally wont be eating here again. read more

Yes, its a buffet, Yes there are issues associated with buffet dining, temp, freshness and praying the sneeze guard has lived up to its name, aside from that great price, good food, I really like this place, and I am about the pickiest eater I know.
