First time dining; absolute worst experience! Unfortunately, we arrived 30-40 minutes before closing, and the buffet was EMPTY. There was one family there, and it was quiet, no music. We entered the restaurant around 3:20pm so it was before the shift into dinner prices which is after 3:30pm. Well, we still got charged for dinner prices. When I asked about the "eat all of your food or be charged" policy I was curious if that applied to small children under 5 (as I had one with me) the owner went off....I know enough of the language to be instantly annoyed at how she was complaining angrily to her daughter. When the daughter tried to explain I told her no need, I got it. We ate everything on our plates, even food I didn't find edible after trying it. It was dirty, hot and lacking in any luster. The food was, meh. Used to go years ago when I was in college, thought we'd try it again after a over a decade. Never again. $45 for 2 adults and a 3year old is crazy for the little amount of food, lack of appeal, and cranky service. read more

It is a buffet so not much interaction with staff so that was ok. The food and variety ok for small establishment. The downside was watching the food attendants brush the food off the counter and edges of pans back into the food trays. Not good or sanitary. Nearly all the chicken was either dry or burnt. They use imitation crab. I nearly threw up when attempting to eat it. Seats and table where sticky and dirty. For 2 people it was over $27 with only water to drink. First and last time eating here. read more

Food was fine. Service was fine. What's not fine is getting charged $7 extra after we leave the restaurant. We even left a tip on the table so I don't understand why they did that? We even filled out the receipt they handed us to sign and wrote no tip (as we left one on the table) How can they run a business like this? Good on the buffet is all very good. Best crab Rangoon you'll have. Chicken dishes were lean and flavorful. Pork and mushrooms had nice fresh mushrooms and the string beans were very good. Staff is friendly and quick to clear plates and turn over tables. We're visiting family and want to go back again before we leave. read more

orange chicken was dry and crunchy pork ribs that were mixed witch chicken were mostly fat and bone and i most likely got charge extra because my mom didn't want to eat it and what ever else she picked was also not good and dry. rice and low main was okay. should of went to the pizza buffet place . was good last year but not going back if getting charge extra for food that's not good. then again maybe they want you to wast so they can charge more. I haven't tried the buffet as I only do pick up. There's a lot of people who eats at the buffet. This is why I suggest call and order ahead. Usually the wait time to get your food is 10-15 minutes. The owner is real nice. She usually gives me free crab rangoons when I wait too long. Mediocre Americanized Chinese food that you would find at most Chinese / Buffet restaurants. Nothing spectacular or stood out. Since they've expanded and opened the Buffet section, the food has been really lacking in taste and service has gone down. read more

For a small town, this is a decent buffet. There is a small selection of food, mostly fried but it was well stocked and somewhat tasty. They charge under $20 for 2 people incl tax. My only pet peeve is that the waitress sweeps and stirs up a lot of dust while we're dining. This is just so unsanitary. This place likes to charge too much for delivery, so I would urge you to avoid it. I assume their business principles apply to the food in the actual restaurant as well. For example, if I want beef lo mein noodles delivered to my house, there is a 12 dollar MINIMUM on cards. So instantly I have to up the order to 12, which is hard to do because there are no prices on the menu. So you end up blindly choosing 1 or 2 more items until they can complete the order. Then the add a delivery charge, plus tip. I wanted lo mein beef noodles, something that should cost roughly 4 dollars. I ended up having to spend 20 dollars at my front door, and this will be the last time I order from here. read more

I've eaten the China Wok buffet for lunch many times and it is consistently good in my opinion; especially for the price. Same items on the buffet every day (I think), but the selection is diverse enough to accommodate wide variety of tastes. I'm a fan and think its well worth trying out. I have been here twice, both times for the buffet. Both times the food was super garlicky. I tried the low mein noodles (the rice noodles were out), the potato fish, the crab Rangoon, the beans, and a chicken dish. I have mostly seen chicken and imitation crab on the buffet. The first time I went they had some ok bbq ribs, which were not on the buffet my second time. The second time they had a dish they called "fried scallops". It looked like walnut or coconut shrimp. It was chicken. I'd give them two stars, but we had a good server that checked on our drinks often. Crab Rangoon was nicely stuffed with a cream cheese filling - don't know how much crab was in there. They have a nice dessert and ice cream selection. Haven't tried the soups, but they look good! This is a fast, informal and family-friendly Chinese buffet. It's inexpensive and has good selection without being overwhelming. The atmosphere is Divey. It's the kind of place you can pile in the family and everyone will leave happy (including the person paying for it). I haven't ordered off the menu, but I wouldn't be dissuaded. This place serves up good, no frills, fast food Chinese. I think it's probably the best bargain in town. It's too-often overlooked because it's tucked in a strip mall near K-Mart. China Wok is different from other Chinese restaurants. They have more than 20 different Chinese cuisines dishes, plenty of dessert and ice cream. The flavors of the food have remarkable depth. Mediocre Chinese. Went for the lunch buffet. They don't have the largest selection, which is fine, I would rather have higher quality than more. The problem was many of the buffet trays were empty. We eat here quite a bit. If you are going for dinner/supper get there around 6:00 Pm. Their lunch buffet runs until 4:30 Pm and it takes them awhile to replenish the buffet bins of food. Their lunch buffet is ok. I ordered for delivery a few times. Food is good, but EVERY time I ordered for delivery someththing was missing from order. I called today for pickup (trying to avoid their 2.00 fee to drive 2 blocks and a wrong order) I was told I could not get a certain item because "it was too busy, lunchtime, no time to cook that" It was EGG FOO YOUNG. How hard can it be to make that? It was actually an order for 10 people and she stopped me on the second order, I took my order to another Chinese restaurant and they were so grateful for it that they offered to deliver it to us for free. I love China Wok! For the most part the service and food are usually just fine. Only bad thing is that if you don't come around the busier meal times ( lunch and dinner) they let the buffet sit and don't always fill everything back up.
