After 25 years of marriage, I decided it was time to upgrade my diamond and explore a new engagement ring setting. Since I originally purchased my setting years ago at the original Shane Co. building, I remembered having such a great experience. When I walked in, Mateo immediately welcomed me and guided me through a selection of round and cushion-cut diamonds. After some consideration, I realized I still loved my original setting and simply wanted a larger diamond. Mateo showed me several options and, even though I wasn't ready to make a purchase that day, he was incredibly patient and never once pressured me. He even followed up by emailing details about the two diamonds I was most interested in. A couple of weeks later, after going back and forth on a few options I found on ShaneCo.com, Mateo arranged to have them sent to the Cupertino store for me to view. They arrived within just a few days. At that point, I worked with Desi, who was wonderfully patient and helpful. She took the time to show me the differences between the diamonds and let me view them under various lighting conditions. Throughout my indecision, she maintained a pleasant, supportive demeanor. I ultimately chose a 1.8-carat diamond, had my ring resized, and turned my original diamond into a pendant. I truly appreciated that Desi never rushed me and made the entire process feel comfortable and enjoyable. When my husband and I returned to pick everything up, Lis welcomed us and cheerfully assisted us. She beautifully presented the pieces, and while admiring them, we noticed a slight slope in the crown setting. Lis immediately took care of it! She kindly had the ring examined, and the team promptly apologized and worked to fix it. Although we had to pick it up the next day, it was absolutely worth the wait. Lis made sure everything was perfect before we left. From start to finish, the entire experience was exceptional. I'm beyond happy with my purchase and the service I received. Lots of on-going construction, but they are open and I definitely notice the improvements. Very friendly staff, shout out to Genna! We come here for our complimentary cleaning of our rings - it's also a requirement to ensure that the diamond has a lifetime warranty should it ever fall off. Even though there is complimentary cleaning, a mobile cleaning kit was introduced to me for $35. Engagement ring shopping. Did lots of research on line then visited multip jewelry stores. In terms of quality, value, in store inventory & experience, Shane was my top choice. Show room was huge & upscale with a large inventory both on display or in the back room. John was fantastic: patient, informative but not pressuring. I came in with a set of criteria but still spend over an hour trying on various diamonds & settings before finding the perfect one. Follow up communcation was effective via email, texting, you can also check the job status on line. Our job was completed in 4 days. This is my engagement ring buying experience Aug 2023. I researched diamonds and rings online. Learned about 4Cs. My gf (now wife) wanted a natural diamond 1ct. So i was stuck at a higher price point than a lab grown even though theyre chemically exactly the same and lab growns are in general more perfect (or too perfect). The good thing is that she did not mind a lower color or clarity as long as it looked good. I finally decided to look in person. My gf (now wife) and I went to Shane Co to look at rings and diamonds. We saw the differences in the 4 C's among their diamonds. Shane Co is too expensive for diamonds. They offer a lifetime warranty for their diamond, but i feel like that is unnecessary. If you break a diamond...youre doing something wrong. If you lose a diamond, that is just bad quality from Shane Co. Overall if you can find a diamond you like in person cheaper, then buy it cheaper. I ended up buying a diamond from Blue Nile. Round, 1ct, J color, a VERY nice SI1 clarity, Excellent cut. No black inclusions. Small clouding. Cleaning the diamond makes the most difference in sparkliness to us cause we get our fingerprints all over it and it dulls it w/o a cleaning. My gf found a unique Lyon Infinity ring at shane co. that you literally cannot find on any other site. I tried so hard to look for an alternative but none was found. In the end I had to buy it from Shane co. Turnaround time was within a week i think. It took us maybe 6 visits to really really decide that there was no alternative to the ring. If you dont have a fancy ring choice, again i would find a cheaper option somewhere else. If that unique ring can only be found at Shane co., then definitely buy it. The lifetime warranty covers the ring that we bought but not the diamond. We got 6 prongs so hopefully the diamond doesnt get lost. We met with basically all of their employed staff at the time across the 6 visits and we didnt feel pressured at all. We did not end up buying rings from Shane but we did look also. All in all it was a great experience at Shane. I guess the radio commercials really do help :P read more

My first experience with Shane Co. was very pleasant, it was when I went wedding band shopping with my then fiancé at the time. They had a variety of options to choose from, but I knew exactly what I wanted. Since I already had an engagement ring that POPPED, I wanted a plain wedding band. I got a comfort white gold band and my now husband got a comfort gold wedding band. The customer service was amazing, the employee there were very patient as we kept going back and forth between the bands. We got welcomed right away when we first arrived, and the process went by smoothly. We ended up getting our wedding band engraved to make it personal. I love that I'm able to resize my ring because they offer complimentary ring resizing! The only thing is that the drive is a bit of a distance. My fiancée got my dream ring here (bc I told him it would be the best quality & warranty) and we noticed after he proposed that my center stone was slightly crooked because he customized a setting intended for a different stone, so they put an entirely different set of prongs on my band for the oval center stone. Nothing short of amazing. This month the wife and I will have been married for 20 years. She never asks for anything, but this year wanted a ring to go with her wedding ring. I always swore to myself that I would never step foot in Shane Co because of the way Tom used to dominate the airwaves, but something also told me that this place was probably the best quality place I could go to. So I suggested we go to Shane Co instead of back to Zales where we got her original ring. We were greeted by our salesman Eric, who was probably the best salesperson I've ever dealt with. He was no pressure, super accommodating, knowledgeable and great to work with. I don't know the exact number of rings my wife handled, but it felt like it was a lot. In the end we ended up picking out two beautiful matching platinum and diamond rings, one to straddle each side of her original ring. One for each decade of her putting up with me. Eric also looked over her original ring and showed us that it needed to be retipped because the old setting was worn and we were at risk of losing one of the diamonds. The price seemed very fair for the repair work so we went with it. Today we picked up the new rings and the old ring, I have no idea what all was involved with fixing the old ring but it looks more amazing today than when we originally bought it. I came to get my bracelet resized and the staff were very nice during the whole process. We were checked in at the front where they took down our name, phone number, and what we were looking to do today. We looked around while waiting and eventually made ourselves a coffee and hot chocolate at the self serve station. The worker was quick in helping us with the resizing process, marking down where to cut and move the parts to. I learned that they give you the resized bracelet back along with the chain they take off so that you can add it back if needed. She also said we would get a new box upon pick up in 5 days. We started our engagement ring shopping journey at Shane Co. and were so lucky to work with Alice. Alice is truly the best! She is so kind, honest, and thoughtful. I was having a hard time finding a center stone shape I liked (nothing felt right on me), but Alice helped me discover the elongated cushion, and I totally fell in love with it! Came here last week to look at wedding bands for my fiancé and I - Shane Co was highly recommended by my sister so we decided to make a stop. We found a band for my fiancé, were told to come pick it up after a few days. We returned a week later (a little unsure since we didn't get an email confirmation that the ring was ready?) but there it was. What really left a sour taste in our mouths was the pick up. We were told that an associate will deliver the ring up at the front but we were free to look around. We walked 3 steps to the cases for a few minutes, came back to the guest waiting area to be told the associate was looking for us. But we were just told we could look around? Then an associate came out to meet us in the walkway, had my fiancé take the ring off of the tray, try it on, sign the iPad and said ok you're good, bye. The overall experience just felt very lackluster. We had to ask for a box and even that felt like we were asking too much from the associate. Pick ups should be made special for all types of jewelry. When we were in store last week, i saw a man pick up what i assume was an engagement ring and the associate sat down with him, had him open up everything, gave him a box, bag; it just felt special. Our visit today just felt like we were picking up some random jeans which discouraged me from wanting to re-visit some bands I saw last time. Growing up in the Bay Area and hearing many good things from friends about Shane's Company, we were very excited to come in and look at engagement rings yesterday evening. We were greeted quickly even though we were about 15 minutes late to our appointment and had someone help us right away. My partner and I were amazed by the selection, but the associate was passive and not engaged with us. I understand it was a Friday evening and everyone was tired after a long day, so we did not catch these red flags at the moment. It somehow felt like a bad, boring experience, and then we realized it was mainly influenced by our associate, because it was the very opposite of our great experience at Brilliant Earth. Coming in here, I was just not expecting that to be pretty much left alone to pick our choices, while the associate would only talk when we asked questions and she offer no feedback or suggestion unlike every other associate we heard in the store and the wonderful interaction we had at Brilliant Earth. Later on, we even realized she did not introduce herself and ask our names at the beginning. I was walking around at the end when she told my partner that she was working on our "wish list" but did not mention how she was sending it to us (she was already about to leave when I came back). Perhaps, she didn't even know what appointment it was or who we were, because I still don't know where our wish list is - no emails, no paper, no links. Unfortunately, unlike our experiences at Brilliant Earth with the attentive associate, who sent details and our choices to my email right after our visit, this is probably not our location to come again. read more

Sarah and Austin were amazing help today helping my wife and I finally choose out our wedding bands. We had our kids with us but they were still patient to help us through the buying process. We were also happy and relieved when we were able to repair the engagement ring thanks to the lifetime warranty. One of the small diamonds came off but they were able to repair it free of charge. The Shane co really has the best (and proper) way to show engagement rings. They carry a huge variety of settings without the stone. Then you tell them the size , cut, color , quality that you are looking for. They find the loose diamond and drop it into the setting so you can get a feel of exactly how it will look. Other jewelers typically already have the center stone in the setting so it might not be the size that you are looking for. The sales associate gave us a tray as our shopping cart so we can compare the various settings. Overall excellent service and great shopping experience. read more

I was struggling to find something for my daughter's bday that I liked and was nearby, so I decided to give them a try.
