Thank you to bartender Sarah who held it down SOLO on World Cup final day, July 19 2026. Her attitude was excellent and it never wavered. For Sarah's hard work I give five stars!!

This place is AMAZING, IF you get Michline as your bartender. What an incredible girl all around! I'm a woman and usually it's hard to find a bartender that makes you feel included and welcome in a bar especially when with my boyfriend but she made me feel like a priority and so welcome. I will come back to this bar a million times as long as she is here! A lot of the time I don't feel safe as a woman going to the bar but if you have Michline as your bartender you're going to feel so safe and comfortable and wanted at the bar. This bar is amazing because of her!

I love this place because it's a bar for a piece of shit like me. The women behind the bar skipped Van Halen and Sammy Hagar songs which I PAID for. I'm a server and a bartender and hate stiffing people but they deserved it. Played Obituary - Chopped in Half out of spite at NYPD next door. I played Tom jones out of spite a few times. Skipped. And they don't know I'm doing it. But still skipping. I miss the og people who worked here. I'll just add any edits on here cause at this point it's funny

Been here a few times and always cool vibes. Location - Prime location on the Downtown Palm Springs area. Venue - Decent size with inside and outside seating. Place is kept up clean an all. Staff - Cool people that work here and friendly. Drinks - Good pours and decent selection. Prices - Great deals and always some kind of deal going on. Overall chill place and will keep coming back.

Favorite day to visit is everyday :)

Best Bar in town hands down and that's thanks to all the staff! From the security guards to the bartenders to the regulars, everyone is so nice and welcoming! Karina is the sweetest human being ever and remembers my order every time! Always a pleasure seeing Samurai at the door as well! Make sure to download TouchTunes app before arriving if you'd like to play some music too

When I challenged that, he referred me to the owner, Chuck. Chuck came outside and reaffirmed that my service dog had to remain outside. He told me that I could go inside while someone could hold my dog on the deck. After I continued to object, Chuck asked me to show service-dog ID because my dog wasn't wearing a vest. I explained that service dogs are not legally required to wear a vest or carry identification. I happened to have an unofficial service-dog ID with me and showed it to him, but by that point I no longer wanted to give the establishment my business. As I was leaving, I passed the deck and heard Chuck discussing the incident with another man and describing me as unreasonable while saying he wasn't discriminating against anyone. After seeing my dog, the other man commented, "That's a big dog; I wouldn't want it in here either." For clarity, my dog was under my control and was not causing a disturbance. My issue isn't that someone asked the two questions businesses are permitted to ask about a service animal. My issue is that I was initially told my service dog could not accompany me inside, the owner reaffirmed that decision, and only after I repeatedly challenged it did the conversation turn to demanding identification because he wasn't wearing a vest. The ADA does not require service dogs to wear vests or carry service-dog identification. A business also cannot simply require a customer with a service dog to use outdoor seating instead of allowing the dog to accompany the customer inside. I ultimately chose to leave and spend my money elsewhere. After waiting and trying to get someone's attention with no luck, we finally decided to get up and leave. We came excited to enjoy the rooftop, have dinner, and spend our evening there, but unfortunately we never even got the opportunity to order. Really disappointing service and definitely not the experience we expected.

Paul greeted us himself when we arrived and gave us a realistic idea of the wait, which we really appreciated. It felt less like being processed through a host stand and more like being welcomed in. While we waited, one of the servers came over to see if we wanted to start with drinks. Naturally, we said yes. Once we were seated, everyone at the table had the same reaction to the portions: pleasantly surprised. I ordered the Steak Frites, and my steak was cooked exactly how I asked for it. One friend had the rack of lamb, while another ordered the clams, which came in a generous bowl with toasted bread for soaking up the broth. For the quality and portion sizes, the prices felt pretty reasonable for Palm Springs. Then there were the cocktails. We ordered a round. Then another. At some point, all of us quietly abandoned the idea that we were only having one or two drinks. They were that good. Paul came by later to check on us, and somehow we ended up hearing stories from his Studio 54 days. His sense of humor is sharp, and he has a way of making conversation feel effortless. Dinner basically turned into story time, and none of us wanted him to leave. He even checked in with us again after dinner. We seriously could have listened to him all night. That was what made the evening for me. The food was excellent, the cocktails were good enough to convince us into a few extra rounds, and the room has plenty of personality on its own. Paul's warmth and humor made the whole experience feel personal in a way you don't come across very often. My friend may have been the one campaigning to come here, but by the end of dinner, he had successfully converted the entire table. We're definitely coming back!

Your claim that you can't secure financing because you don't have September and October revenue makes little sense. Banks can review historical financials, and a temporary closure doesn't erase your previous business performance. You also say the expansion is 75% complete but provide no transparency around the total project cost, how much you've already spent, or what you actually need to finish. You made the decision to expand your restaurant, underestimated the costs, and now you're asking your customers and community to cover the shortfall without providing any real financial details. That's a lot to ask of people who have supported your business. I'm all for supporting local businesses, but there's a difference between a community coming together to help someone through an unexpected hardship and being asked to fund a business expansion that wasn't properly budgeted. If you're going to ask people for their hard-earned money, they deserve complete transparency. Shame on you for not providing it.

When we were first seated, a bus server brought us water and asked if we would like anything else to drink. We started giving him our drink orders, only to realize he didn't have a pen or paper. He politely excused himself, came back prepared, and took our order. A little while later, our drinks were delivered by another gentleman who was immediately warm, polished and engaging. His name was **Cosmo**. He wasn't our server, though. Eventually, another server stopped by and told us he would be taking care of us and would return shortly. He never introduced himself. When he returned, we ordered our starters, and later our entrées. He did his job and was perfectly fine. But throughout the evening, Cosmo kept appearing at exactly the right moments. Cosmo noticed when my drink was empty and asked if I wanted another. Throughout dinner, he continued checking on our table, making sure we had drinks and everything else we needed. At the same time, we watched him interact with other guests throughout the restaurant and help the servers wherever he was needed. He was polished, attentive and genuinely engaging, but also seemed to instinctively know when to step away and let guests enjoy their evening. After several conversations with him, curiosity finally got the better of us. We asked, "So, what exactly is your story? Are you the head waiter? A supervisor?" Nope. Cosmo explained that he is actually a busser, just like the gentleman who initially brought us our water. He has been at Billy Reed's for many years. At one point he considered becoming a server, but decided he really didn't want to have to memorize the entire menu. He loves what he does, and it shows. He even gave us the introduction he would have used had he been the first person to greet our table that evening. It was hilarious. He has that rare hospitality instinct of knowing how to engage people, make them laugh and feel welcome, while also knowing exactly when to retreat. There was one final moment that summed up the evening perfectly. The servers came over and sang Happy Birthday to Michael. We noticed Cosmo wasn't with them and wondered why. When they finished, Cosmo came over to our table and personally sang Happy Birthday to Michael himself. That was Cosmo. Our dinner was great. Our server was fine. But **Cosmo made the night.** Billy Reed's is fortunate to have him. After all those years, he may technically still be a busser, but from a guest's perspective, he understands hospitality better than most people ever will. PoliStein

You would Think that the place would be packed as it's a sports bar and right in the middle of town. Well, it wasn't. They had the game on which was the reason we were coming to. First off, even though it wasn't that busy, they only had one bartender working the place. Bartender and server all in one. He was busy but sweet the whole time. Getting a drink did take a little while as he was trying to maneuver everyone's order. Good thing, the games was on all the television. It did pick up here and there but give or take about 10 people were in the bar. Surprise as it's downtown Palm Springs but wasn't busy. We had 2 pitchers of beer thinking it would probably be a little cheaper than getting a couple of bottles. Well, when the bill came, it was about 80.00 for the bill before tip. A little taken off with it but I guess it is what it is. Honestly didn't think it would be at least 40.00 for a pitcher but damn. Anyways, pricey for the drinks. The place wasn't that busy which we were surprised. And there was only one bartender the whole time we were there for the game. I'm sure it gets busy but honestly I think it's more of a tourist place versus the locals. As it is right in the heart of downtown. The locals know where to go instead.

I sampled some of what my table mates ordered, and just felt overall the food was flat and uninspired. At least the food wasn't over salted, which is what most restaurants do to gain "flavor". I had sorbet or gelato or whatever it was supposed to be... Again, when you walk in it looks so enticing - but lacks flavor. The pricing is definitely attractive with several specials like the surf and turf (petite filet and shrimp), but it just felt uninspired. That said, my table mates think it's the best place ever so there you go. I was also not a fan of the ambiance. Felt like a strip mall interior, but it was bright and clean.
