We visited here as a work group. There's not much night life in Palm Springs during the week. The lounge is a gaming lounge with folks playing Mario Kart and Smash Bros. They have a pool table and the staff there are friendly and engaging. It's a decent place to hang out if you are looking for a place. Drinks are what you'd expect and prices. Had a great time at emo nite here. Music was on point and the vibes were amazing. I'd highly recommend getting there early to maybe snag a seat. Only thing I will say is that the bartender actively ignored me when it was my turn to order at the bar. He served about 7 individuals who were in line after me before he decided to take my order. He seemed to know these individuals personally as he kept taking shots with them. Pretty sure his name was Alex because that's the name that was on my receipt. Cool bar to hang out with friends! We went here on a Friday night and wanted to catch up since it's been awhile. Had no idea there was a DJ playing that night! That would usually be lit! But we wanted a quieter place to catch up, so the loud music made that a little more difficult. The drinks were alright! I had a Long Island Iced Tea and a White Russian. I felt like my drinks were a little watered down, but despite that, I enjoyed the Long Island Iced Tea. Unfortunately, I hated the White Russian. I'm just not a big fan of alcohol and coffee/dairy. My boyfriend and my other two friends enjoyed it much more than I did. They also have various board games available, but nothing too fancy. The guy checking IDs that night was super chill! He let my friend and I bring some nachos in from the Castañeda's in the same plaza lol. Thank you! I'm not sure if I would come back again since there are other bars in Palm Springs that I enjoy more. I would only come back if a friend wanted to come here. Still happy I checked BART out! BART has been a mainstay in the Cathedral City/PS area for quite some time, and as a patron of five years, I always enjoyed going over to celebrate any occasions. Birthdays, celebrating a new job (or losing one, lol!), getting together with friends - you name it. Rambo has always run a great show, and before the Glitch's of the world came to be, BART was the place to go to enjoy cool drinks, and best of all, some truly retro gaming fun (Golden Eye, enough said!). Unfortunately, this all got undone by a pretty bad experience last night. After going in with my date, we ponied up at the bar. It took a little longer than we hoped to get served, and although the bar wasn't full, we were in a good mood, we didn't mind, and hey, we're at BART. When Michael eventually came around to serve us, I noticed some changes had been done to the bar, with things moved around. What began as a friendly conversation quickly turned into a rude exchange, and every time I tried to explain that I had been frequenting the place for some time, and that I noticed some changes, he'd shake is head, and eventually suggested "I'm using too much drugs". Grammar aside, that is a completely disrespectful comment that came from someone that clearly is without a clue regarding customer service. You simply do not talk to people like that. Needless to say, we quietly paid our tab, didn't even finish our drinks and left. I had just brought someone in for the first time, and that was the experience they had. That was their first impression. I cannot see myself going back to a place that disrespects its customers like that. I am not sure if the ownership cares, but sadly, I won't be going back. read more

Went to barts with a group Nov 27th 22, and the DJ kicked two of the people I was with because they were "two close to his DJ set" when they were on the dance floor. As a long time customer, this place has really fallen off bad. On Sunday's they started charging cover and making you wait in a ridiculous line to get into the dance floor while the shady security guards in the exit only "no exceptions" let in a bunch of creepy guys that pay them to sneak in. Bart needs to do a better job of hiring security guards that have ethics and actually do their job and don't bend the rules and put everyone's safety in danger. The bartenders are the only positive here and I feel sorry for them that they have to deal with this too. read more

It's so sad because I would give this place 10 stars if I could. The venue is gorgeous, the drinks were okay - could have been more strong but whatever. A little pricier than usual for the area. The lights and board/video games are a plus! Now here comes the terrible part: THE MUSIC I won't name the DJ because I'm not trying to be an asshole but he couldn't transition properly and no one touched the dance floor let alone got out of their chair to dance. He only played old school hip-hop and many people wanted dance hip hop or dance music at least.
