There mobile service is one of the best I have used. Shout to Sam!!!!! She is AMAZING!!!!!! My dogs are not very comfortable with other people. Sam made them feel comfortable and relaxed during the grooming. I was amazed at how she could get them to trust her. One of my dogs is not easy to handle, he can be a handful... My other Dog has arthritis in his legs and hips Sam was so gentle and patient with him. I'm going to recommend Shampooch and Sam to everyone I know. read more

My wife and I have taken our pets to this place for a few years now . Noticed that the staff was not really that happy or nice . We had a couple issues with haircuts, but really nothing that stood out . The staff hair groomers are all Recently new .I dropped our two dogs off and showed pictures of what each poodle should look like because my wife said they screwed up the hair cut a month before . The account is under my wife's name and phone number. I asked them to please call me because my wife is at work. I gave them my number . The women that looked to be in charge took the info and reassured me that they would text or call . I left and 3 hours went by and my wife text me to send her pictures of our dogs . I texted her back and told her I haven't been notified to pick them up . So I called the shampooch 3.5 hours after I dropped them off . Called their business phone . The same woman that I spoke to in the morning answered, I asked if our dogs were ready . And the lady said yes , that she texted me 25 minutes ago I said I didn't receive a text , but I would be right there to pick them up . Our poor dogs waited there from 9 am in the morning till afternoon . I wasn't happy about it because I had an appointment. I reminded the lady that I left her instructions to call me or text me when the dogs were ready. She lied in front of her coworkers and said she texted me I said I didn't receive any messages she lied to me in-front of them again when I asked how long ago did she call or text me . She said 15 minutes ago .when in reality it was an hour and 15 minutes that she contacted the wrong number it was my wife's phone I reminded her again that I had given her my number at 9am .Wow horrible customer service. That was about a month in half ago.. fast forward to today I asked my wife if we should get the dogs groomed. She said yes . So she called them . The girl she talked to said to wait a minute. She got back to my wife and told her that I was not welcome there ever again . Because I yelled at everyone and made them all feel uncomfortable. My wife was completely shocked and horrified from this ,as was I.They made me sound like a monster. Can you imagine how my wife felt looking at me . And how I felt from false accusations.My wife started crying!! They said I even didn't leave a tip . That part is true . They charge a lot to groom your dog which is fine . But, I don't feel that you should feel obligated to leave a tip on a 200 bill but that isn't the point. This is not acceptable .No , they didn't deserve a tip . This woman has made my wife cry from what they said about me . How horrible that someone from a business telling my wife these horrible things about me , her husband that she has been married to for years accused of being a monster.My wife told me about this and I feel like filing formal complaints with the BBB and state CA ,state . And state health dept . I wonder how many health codes this business is breaking!! The city licensing agencies and filing a lawsuit . suing them for defamation of character and falsely accusing me of harassment. I may still consider a lawsuit against this business for this horrific experience my wife had to endure. And what I am enduring from false accusations All because this woman lied and was called out on her lies in front of coworkers. I'm sure she was embarrassed, not my fault There was no yelling or name calling . Just a customer that asked questions , ME, I wasn't mean , but I was upset,There was no reason for this . They made the mistake and of course turned it all on me . Not a problem. This is a blessing in disguise. I have found a much better dog groomer which is a more professional business and takes the time to listen to directions. And customers concerns . Plus everyone is happy . Says a lot about the environment of the business.My advice to anyone who has been using this place, or is thinking about using them .. DONT!! do your research . Look for any other grooming services. The woman who spoke to my wife made her cry How horrible .. plus your dog shouldn't have to wait hours with total strangers although I understand it happens. And don't let your husband handle any of the problems because it might be him the next time that is falsely accused then the wife lied too about him and made to feel that her husband is a monster by this business and the people who represent it. I say business because they are responsible for what they say and who says it even employees of this business. Or contracted through this business. Shame on this woman.. it's no wonder why the employees there look unhappy. read more

First off...I have used many pet grooming places, as we have had multiple pets. But I decided to give Shampooch a shot....and WOW!! This Pet Salon Delivered!+! After being greeted by the Salon manager, I met Mikayla who was going to groom my little Baby Charlie. Of course he was scared at first, but Mikayla was very gentle and kind with Charlie. He kisses the people he loves and knows, and right away he starts kisses with Mikayla. I knew right then he was gonna be ok...she was very professional and asked me exactly how I wanted the grooming to be done..(ears, eyes, sanitary area)...I was like "wow" other shops just assume ...but not here. My family and I are new to this area. Finding a good groomer is highly important to us. I have a German Shepherd who spends most of her time outdoors. So it's important to us for her to get her bath once a month. Last week I called around to find a groomer that was available short notice to take my dog in. And Shampooch was the 3rd place I called. They were able to fit in Mylo. When I arrived to drop her off they staff was very friendly and said they would be done with her in a hour. Which surprises me since more groomers take 3-5 hours. After her appointment, I picked her up and let's just say they did any amazing job for a really good price. Highly recommend this place to anyone who cares about their pets. read more

Took my big shepsky into this salon for the 1st time today and I couldnt be happier. If you know Shepsky's, you know how much they shed. Susan took such good care of our boy and de-shedded him so well, there is hardly any hair falling off him. He also isn't a huge fan of getting his nails clipped and she was able to trim his nails so beautifully without it bothering him at all. Super impressed with this salon. Super bummed that I'm giving this place four stars, but at this moment I can't justify giving five....... First time around, WONDERFUL! Just moved to the area, came in for their Tuesday nail special and couldn't be happier. Staff was friendly, prices were more than reasonable and to top it off, they are walking distance from our house. SOLD! We inquired about their mobile service, but after talking to the girl helping us out, I believe her name is Courtney, we decided to just go into the shop. Why not? Save a couple bucks and since it's so close, we can walk our dogs and get a cup of coffee at East, makes sense. We got a rough estimate price, scheduled an appointment and away we go. Fast forward two weeks.....I bring in our dogs for our 9am appointment, and walk in to some sort of tension. Not sure the details, but you could feel it. Let the ladies up front know I was there for my dogs appointment, and to my surprise I'm told they don't have one? Hmmmm, ok. Nothing under my name or number, and nothing under my wife's either. She asks when I called in for the appointment, I let her know I didn't, I thought I made it two weeks ago when my dogs were there getting their nails clipped. Long story short, she was nice enough to offer us an appointment an hour later, at 10am, which I was totally happy and ok with, mistakes happen and they were kind enough to fit us in so it wasn't a waste of time. Later in the after noon I go to pick our dogs up, and back to day one we go, super friendly girl at the front desk, same for another girl in the back trimming another dog; this is more like it. I get my total, and it is a lot less than I expected. I ask, wanting to make sure A. My dogs got the service we were expecting and B. To make sure we aren't undercharged, the plan is come back in the future after all! I ask if their teeth were brushed, I believe the answer was yes? Never really got a straight answer to be honest. If they were, it looks like that was the pricing mistake, she fixes it, charges me the correct amount and away we go. My point to this is by NO MEANS to discredit or be that person to write a bad review. I'm actually not one for reviewing 100% of the places I visit, I actually prefer to review the places I enjoy and intend to let others know they can expect the same positive experience. That being said, a couple things that can be tightened up. Hopefully next time around we don't have the appointment confusion, nor the service/pricing one. read more

These ladies are awesome! I brought in my 3 month old puppy for his first grooming & we were all a little nervous. After maps took me to the wrong location (since there are a million groomers in Temecula) we showed up 10 minutes late & they completely understood. The woman who groomed him was very informative, kind with my wild child & suggested what was best for his hair type & how to take care of it afterwards, since I had no idea. I picked him up an hour & a half later & was in love all over again! Bathed & floofed, he had an even cut (big fear of mine was an uneven cut) & was happier than ever. This place is awesome! I'm the owner of 2 Cavaliers and have taken them to almost every grooming place in the valley trying to find the right people and prices. These girls are SUPER well trained and professional, and often come to Shampooch from the surrounding schools and competing businesses in the area. I know this because I've been recognized by the same groomers at different locations. I have had SERIOUS concerns with some of the most well known and popular businesses in the area. For instance, my dogs were once kept for SIX HOURS, CAGED WITH NO WATER OR FOOD OR ABILITY TO GO TO THE BATHROOM! This happened at one of the MOST well known groomers in the area, and they also sell a bunch of pets and supplies (I'll let you guess whom I'm speaking about. Lol) When I expressed my concern for treating my dogs like that, they had a very flippant attitude and barely cared. They were cruel, unnecessarily so! I can't ethically take my pets to a place like that, especially if they're charging you more than anyone else in the area for basic services! Shampooch treats animals with dignity and respect and they take serious pride in their work. I'll never go to another place again after finding these girls! I've been taking my dogs here for over a year now. The staff is friendly, but they all refuse to leave my dog's nails alone. At first I thought it was a glitch, but i've made it a point to specifically and directly make sure they understand that I do *not* want them to clip their nails. One of my dogs hates it, and he has snapped at a groomer before, so they muzzled him. His nails aren't long, or mangled up or bothering him in any way. He walks on cement every day and has no issues. In fact my Vet says the cement walking helps keep his nails in check, and that the nerve is probably longer in his nails, which is why he hates it. The last time I took them, I was asked (by the owner I think) why I don't want their nails clipped. We had at least a 5 minute conversation about it. And when I picked them up, both pups had their nails clipped! I honestly don't know why they refuse to listen, but it's the last time we'll be going here. It's a shame cuz the prices are good and it's really close to my home, but if they're not going to follow a simple request, we just can't go there anymore. read more

We made the appointment for the mobile grooming service and Alec was very professional, prompt, caring and very informative. Bandit came out happy as well, I can tell because the last time he had a grooming from another business, Bandit ended up sitting in the corner of the kitchen the rest of the day with his head low. It reminded me of Eeyore lol. And it was a hack job. So I was kind of hesitant to have another mobile grooming service. But this experience made me change my mind. The first time we brought my dog in for grooming we had a good experience and liked the way he was groomed and nicely cut , so we decided to go back , this time my experience wasn't so pleasant and was a bit disappointed . So my dog has had a little anxiety due to changes at home mostly walking back and forth at home at night, he really needed a haircut because he is very fluffy and this hot Temecula weather has been crazy , my husband made the appointment and I took him in . I believe I was their last appointment before they closed . I walked in and she started Observing him and right away suggested he needed a super short haircut because he had knots , ( my husband had brushed him a day before ) she said the hair looked like it been chopped wrong in certain areas and just said it has to be super short ( we never chopped parts of his hair off ) it's just the way his hair grows . So I pretty much had no option to choose a style for him . It only took them about 45 min and then got a call he was ready to get picked up . My husband is usually the one that takes him to the groomers so they kept texting him and sent a video of my dog barking . When I got there they told me he wasn't allowed back unless we have him on CBD products because he kept barking and moving a lot and pooped while service she seemed pretty frustrated while she was telling me all this and his hair was super short where you can see his pink skin underneath , I agreed with whatever they told me , but what upset me after was that I got charged more than usual she said $67 and he's a medium size dog (shitzu mix) at first i asked if that was the usual price as before and she said yes but we also charged you $5 extra because we needed another person to hold him still . But I remember my husband paying around 50 before but somehow I got overcharged , and I wish they would have told me about the extra fee on top of price but I had to ask them in order for them To tell me ? I feel like i got overcharged and not just that but she buzzed almost all his hair to make it an easy cut ! Like I said you can see the pink skin . We usually like the hair short during summer but not the way he got buzzed it was bugging him for a few days , Anyway first time a groomers told me my dog isn't allowed anymore unless treated because he was acting like a dog ? I understand if he bit someone or was Aggressive but he wasn't . Plus girl seemed frustrated that she even send my husband videos of him barking and I can feel the negativity . Had a very good experience here! Scheduled an appointment and showed up at the time we agreed upon. Was greeted by a kind employee who took my dog and gave him some love to make him feel comfortable. They did an excellent cut, exactly what I asked for with expert hygiene trim. My dog is normally itchy after a hygiene trim, but they got nice and close with no discomfort for my pup. They finished in two hours, which is very reasonable to me given the mid day week day appointment we had. Usually I am used to 3-4 hours in Orange County. Also, had them brush my little guys teeth and they did an excellent job. Really helped his breath. Would use Shampooch again and recommend to friends. read more
