I ordered an iced latte (I can't remember which syrup she added, but honestly you can't go wrong with any of them). The barista was super friendly and gave great recommendations when I asked which syrup to add to my drink. JJ owners, if you're seeing this, please open a location in Pleasant Grove or American Fork! I love that they change their syrups with the season too. One of my favorites is the banana bread latte or their coconut ube matcha. The toasts are so good and I love their overnight oats too! When my friends ask what coffee shop to go to, I will always recommend this place. If you need a study spot that looks so cute or meeting with friends, this is the spot. I would also like to say the baristas here have always been so sweet and I appreciate them so much. I LOVE YOU JJs!

I came here on a whim and the menu was completely different than what I saw online, so I'm updating…read moremy review so that it reflects the new menu. There was a lot fewer "healthy" options than I thought there would be based on the old menus. And then a lot more burgers and hot dogs type of items. They did have bakery items and that's what I ended up ordering. I got the cheese empanadas and they were "mini" empanadas for $5. The cheese was fantastic -- very melted and it had a good flavor. The pastry was fried and so it was oily and I was surprised that the empanadas didn't come with any sauces. But overall, I had a positive experience I just wished that the menus online were updated.

Street parking filled up quickly so I'm not sure what the alternatives would be. Inside, it was very cozy and cute. There was various decorations for the upcoming season and holidays. The space is very open and pretty quiet. I saw various types of patrons going in and out, some stopping by for a coffee, some grabbing a bite, and others sitting down to study. I wouldn't recommend this spot for a big group that's looking to socialize because, again, the space was very quiet. There was also no WiFi which was inconvenient. The barista was very friendly and wanted to make conversation which was nice. However, the matcha was lacking in flavor depth. I had added sweetener to mine and I could only taste milk and sweetness, no matcha. There appeared to be a plethora of food options ranging from sweet to savory. I saw tacos! Overall, cute spot, but still on the search for a go to coffee shop.

I had a disappointing experience at Peace on Earth Coffee…read more I specifically ordered a matcha latte with a substitution for health reasons, so accuracy mattered to me. I made sure to confirm this substitution was available before placing my order. After drinking it, I became concerned that my substitution had not been applied, so I tried to contact the store. It took multiple calls to reach a manager, but once I did, they acknowledged that a new employee had likely made a mistake and apologized. Although it was difficult to get in touch with someone, I appreciate their willingness to hear my concerns and their attempts to rectify the situation. When I returned to the store for the agreed-upon refund, however, the experience became frustrating. The manager, Aubrey, initially attempted to refund me for a less expensive drink and seemed unwilling to believe me when I explained what I had paid. I clarified that I was not seeking reimbursement for the tip, only the agreed-upon refund for my purchase. Her tone felt irritated and dismissive throughout the interaction. Fortunately, I still had my receipt with me and was able to verify the correct amount. Mistakes happen, and I appreciate that the store acknowledged the possibility of an error. What disappointed me most was how the refund was handled. I left feeling that my concerns were met with skepticism rather than understanding. Additionally, on a completely separate side note, while I was there, I noticed a customer had a dog inside the café. When I first visited with my friend, we had her dog with us and we were told dogs were only welcome on the patio because they had an open kitchen. So it was unexpected to see this dog inside and drinking from a reusable customer water cup provided by Peace on Earth. The inconsistency in enforcing store policies was surprising. I hope the business uses this as an opportunity to improve employee training and customer service.
