This is hands-down my favorite coffee shop! I've been going to them since their Provo Mall days (RIP that location), and I'm so glad this location exists. The vibe when you walk in is super cool, and the employees are always friendly. They give great recommendations, and sometimes they'll even make their own favorite drink that's not on the menu. It's definitely a busy spot, there are always people there, even on weekdays with WFH people working at the tables. Weekends (and even Sundays) get pretty packed, but it makes sense. Their coffee is always solid and the food is good for a coffee shop. My go-to drinks are the Smilin' Hawaiian or the caramel blondie. For food, I love their breakfast BAE (bacon, avocado, egg) sandwich on the jalapeño cheddar bagel, so good! Just make sure they've got ripe avocados because that makes all the difference read more

I came in on a Sunday having planned a little meet up because of the amount of tables thinking there would be lots of space. It was so packed inside, I've never seen that many people in a coffee shop. It took me about 15 minutes to finally find a spot at a table and luckily only a couple of people showed up to meet. We had a really great time though and the vibes are so good here. Everyone I interacted with from customers to the baristas were awesome. I ordered a tea called katara and it was amazing. It was kind of fruity, but just so full of flavor and didn't taste watered down at all. Once it was ready they brought it out which was impressive because of how busy it was, they still kept track of where I was which I appreciated. I'm a big fan of The Coffee Shop in Riverton, so I wasn't surprised that the Coffee Shop in American Fork was just as enjoyable. This coffee shop is packed on weekdays and I can see why. The vibes are amazing -- perfectly chill coffeehouse atmosphere. The coffee and drinks are delicious and the staff is friendly, attentive, and efficient.  We tried a couple drinks from their seasonal menu but you can't go wrong with the classics here. I wanted good espresso not the super sugary stuff that a lot of places here seem to serve. The place is awesome and large with cool decor and cozy spots to sit and hang. It's bustling but the wait wasn't long. My 12 ounce vanilla latte was perfect. Balanced not too sweet and smooth and even a cute little cow to top the drink hole. The 12 ounce is the smallest size out of four size options. I found it really dishonest, not transparent, and shady that there are no prices listed anywhere for anything. My small vanilla latte was $6.75 and I didn't know until I was asked for payment. I can't imagine what the other drinks cost. Photos attached of the menus all without any pricing. I didn't even know that it was legal to not have any pricing available for customers... how do I know they don't charge different people different prices? The latte was great but not worth $6.75 and the business practices make me never want to go back. read more

It's time for an update here. I returned after several months; this time to have a drink inside and stay awhile. What a difference between visits! The ambience and vibe is incredibly welcoming and spacious. There were lots of folks working away on their laptops or having quiet conversations in various nooks throughout the space. It's definitely a place to come hang. Service was great. The nice fella who took our order was on his first day, but was pleasant and made sure to get the details of our order, which was then reconfirmed by his manager. The drinks were fantastic! I'm glad I came back and gave this place another try. I'll certainly be back again soon. read more

I've been looking for a new place to sit and do some work outside of the house, and this place delivered! I ordered a 16oz strawberry lemonade and it lasted me a good while. The Coffee Shop does have wifi, as well as comfy couches and chairs and plenty of seating options. They got my drink out pretty quickly, and it was neat that they brought it right to my table instead of just leaving it on the counter for me to grab. I'll be going back soon! read more

Hardest part about moving to utah was finding little food restaurants and or chains that feel homey and good service. This is my fav coffee shop here and the atmosphere is so cute. I really thoroughly enjoy the experience of going here even if it's just for a drive through! The employees are super SUPER personable and they are so helpful when you have a hard time choosing what to order! Today I got the: Girl Scout Cookie Latte (Iced) with Oatmilk and it was delicious tastes so similar to a Samoa or Caramel Delight as some call it now! I would say the only downfall is the cost. I haven't come inside for some time because I have not had a day off to use it to study. This was my favorite place to study. I love the cozy place to sit up at the bar at the front. There used to be 4 seats up there near where they keep the tea. This was a great place for a person to come solo and not have to take up a whole table and feel comfortable by themselves. This space has been eliminated and now I see it is being used as storage. It also served as a social meeting place When I sat up here I was able to meet like minded people doing the same thing. So sad to see this happen. I had to sit at the back bar and it felt like I was in the kitchen. I sat right by the Fridge and heard all the shop gossip while I was trying to study The pounding of the frothed milk on the counter vibrated the counter causing a constant distraction This back bar is where the employees go to look at there phones and show there coworker friends things they find in there phone. I don't have an issue with this. I believe they should have space for this. My question is to why force you solo customers to have only this one option to sit at now when the front bar was 100 % better than this kitchen bar seat?! The Coffee Shop strikes a perfect balance cozy and professional. I feel comfortable here and always find a seat to hang out for a few hours at a time, but I also get consistently great coffee and service. The staff here sets the standard for other coffee shops in the area. They are friendly, fun, and professional. They are attentive to the dining area and always keep it clean. I especially love that they always bring out my drink without even asking my name or giving me a number. I'm not sure how they remember all the faces, but I've never seen them make a mistake or wander around wondering who ordered what so their process is clearly working. They have a well-thought out menu of delicious foods and drinks but also have enough flavors to make anything you can think up. The assortment of sitting and tables makes The Coffee Shop the perfect location for anything from a quick date to a long study session. However, if you're planning on working from a laptop, make sure you're charged up! They do have quite a few outlets but if it's busy you may end up at a table without one. read more

Met up w/ a friend for my 1st time here. Had the BAE on an Asiago bagel so tasty! Felt so comfortable & cozy that a full hour passed b4 we knew it. Had many choices for seating from sofas to long tables to get some business done on a laptop or phone. Employees were personable & delivered food directly to you. The coffee here is always amazing when I come, made right each time with the perfect amount of sweetness and espresso. The Coffee Shop served as a meeting place for a local friend and I, however, I patronized it once more before leaving SLC. First off, this shop is adorable and great for working. If you're looking for a place that is inclusive and perfect for hunkering down with a laptop, look no further. On my first visit, I ordered the Nutty Irishman (hazelnut+Irish creme) iced latte. On my second visit, I ordered a hot Van Halen (vanilla+hazelnut). They were able to make both drinks sugar free and accommodate my request for oat milk in exchange for a nominal fee. I was thoroughly impressed by the staff and service they provided here. Both visits, the staff was friendly and happy to explain the menu and answer any questions that I had. They also had a large array of branded items such as stickers and cups, in addition to a large food offering. This space was adorable and their mission to love all and serve all shines through. The Coffee Shop offers delicious breakfast sandwiches, comparable to Einstein's Bagels. They have a great counter service to stop in and grab a bite. The drink was over $8, and I got a small, so it was a bit pricier than I'm use to. The drink was made in about 5 minutes (drive thru) and the car behind me ended up leaving (likely due to the wait.) Super cute coffee shop! I am addicted. I ordered the taste of Italy which was perfect to my liking! My boyfriend ordered the van Helen which he loved. This is truly one of my favorite hangout spots! It is not too far from where I live and I just absolutely love the vibes! They also always make my coffee order right which is not something I can say about every coffee shop so it is MUCH appreciated! I am gonna be honest, this is one of the cutest coffee shops, on terms of decoration that I can think of! They have a cute little book nook with all kinds of books and decorations. Then they have general seating with your average tables. On top of that, they have another area in the corner with cute couches and decorations. They also have coffee decorations on the walls throughout the shop. You can tell someone put a lot of time and effort into the design of The Coffee Shop. On terms of their coffee, as I mentioned earlier, it always tastes absolutely perfect. I do think they're a bit more expensive than other shops--it is about $8-$10 for my coffee, including tip. The service is always really awesome. The staff is really nice and I like that they bring your coffee to you instead of just calling out your name. Also, one of the baristas gave me a free muffin because it was expiring according to their food policies that day! I was pretty happy about that and it was a yummy little muffin! Traveling from San Diego to Idaho to visit my mother-in-law with cancer and as you can imagine, coffee stops along the way are vital. We looked at a lot of different places while in this part of Utah and decided to go with The Coffee Shop. We did not have an opportunity to sit inside but I loved the vibe that I saw in the pictures and the drive-through was quick and easy. My iced, vanilla latte with oat milk, plus an add shot, tasted really good and I am pretty picky. We also had an iced Matcha that tasted great. I'm not a local, but if I were, i'm pretty sure I would be stopping by on a regular basis. Great job guys! read more

Ouch. My wallet definitely hurts after coming to The Coffee Shop. I think $7.50 for a 16oz iced latte is crazy! Was it good? Yes. Was it better than any other local coffee shop? No. I am all about charging what you're worth, but I just don't see the justification in spending that much on a drink that didn't blow my mind! I would consider coming back here with a friend for more of a "treat" but this definitely won't be a daily stop for me. I will say, the girl who took my order was so sweet and embodied everything that comes with great customer service! I went through the drive thru, so I can't comment on the inside, but it looked really cute! All in all, even if you have $8 to spend on a latte..
