I was excited to try this place as I've heard so many good reviews and of course a boba place in Utah county? Winning! But unfortunately, it did not live up to the reviews. We ordered a Thai tea, brown sugar and matcha. The Thai tea had no flavor at all. Brown sugar had flavor but was so sweet. Lastly, the matcha...was disgusting. It did not taste like matcha at all. We didn't realize the drinks were made with flavored powder. (I should've double checked.) The boba was very inconsistent. Some were soft, some were hard. Lots were clumped together. They had tons on the menu including food, but we didn't try any. Did see that they served fresh steam buns but they didn't look good. We paid $24 for 3 drinks. Quite disappointing. read more

Here works some of the sweetest employees. Everytime I come here they're always super nice and friendly. Although I do think its weird that I havent seen the same employees twice. I come here often so its always a hit or miss. There's been times when there's only one or no other customers in the shop, and service is slow, but most of the time experience has been great. The shop is not too big, but they do have plenty of seating. I like the ambience outside better and there are also a lot of shops around to walk around. I always get their smoothies and they have a lot of varieties. Some non dairy and no caffeine. I've been to other boba shops (not in utah) that have better boba, but I come here for great service PS: not many stores do it anymore, but this boba shop still have stamp cards!! Updating my review because I yet again had an item missing from my door dash order. A straw?! How am I supposed to drink this without a straw?? Additionally, the Oreo smoothie is usually pretty good but this was an Oreo flavored water. This is far from a "smoothie." This is one of the only boba places on door dash but trust me, it's worth a drive to go elsewhere to ensure quality and no missing items. Super frustrating. Be better guys. On Thursday there was a single girl working there. There were 3 parties who had ordered, 1 couple had ordered like 10 drinks, the 2nd had gotten 5, for a full family, and the 3rd was a pair who had gotten long custom drinks. Another couple then walked in ordered waited like 5 minutes then started insulting the one employee like "Is this your first day?" And despite the employees attempts to calm down the situation, and explain the fact that she had other customers, the lady and her boyfriend then stormed out. The girl was really sweet and even paid for a treat for some of the kids of the family, the people who ordered 5 drinks, as they had been nice to her after. First time trying Boba Bee. Ordered: Milk Tea with boba, 75% sugar. Pina colada smoothie. The milk tea was OK - lacking a bit of flavor, seemed watered down. Even at 100% sugar, it wasn't sweet at all. Not the best milk tea with pearls I've had, probably will not come back here for this specific drink. The Pina colada smoothie was actually pretty good - would go back for this one if we are in the area again. On the first day being open to the public the place was pretty barren - no digital menu up, shelves empty, ambiance was lacking. I paid $6.48 for a taro smoothie with classic boba pearls. When I first walked in, the place seemed really stuffy, warm and smelt a little funny. There were two workers there who didn't seem too interested in being there. They recommended the peach and taro milk tea. I decided to try the taro smoothie, and it tasted just like powder, and was nothing special or refreshing. The boba also got hard in about 3 minutes (given it's a smoothie but it usually stays soft for a little longer than that). I wanted a panini, they were out of bread. I wanted a coconut smoothie with mango popping boba and they were out of those. I ended up getting a char siu bun and taro smoothie with regular boba. My husband got the coconut smoothie with some popping boba, but it wasn't the mango. The workers were not terribly friendly, but they were pretty busy eating their Pier 49 pizza from next door and I'm sure they were bummed they had to make smoothies for a couple customers. read more

Cute little spot in AF right off the freeway. Love that they have stamp cards, not something you see super often in Utah Valley. Since Thai tea is one of the easier drinks to make, I was expecting not expecting it to be a powder mix. On the first few sips, I could feel the powder granules, but after stirring some more they dissolved more easily. Still pretty good considering. Boba had really good texture. Taro bun was amazing, my favorite part of this boba stop. Good bun and filling texture and good flavor. The pork cabbage was ok; it was nice that the filling was more traditional, but the bun itself was made I think with whole wheat flour? Or something? The texture was more soft and had less chew than I like. I'm excited to go back and try the cha shu and custard buns! read more

I'm hoping to give this place a 5 star on a future date, right now the only thing that's holding it back was the interior. I felt like I just walked into a plain white room with a few shelves and bee pillows, if this was a cute place the stars would be 5 at full force. Their bob was SO GOOD, they mix your brown sugar boba milk tea for you so you don't have to do it yourself, it doesn't look as cute but it's fine! What I have to brag about was the BISCOFF SMOOTHIE holy biscoff this thing was to die for. It felt like I was drinking cookies! I usually don't write bad reviews, but the drinks I got are just not good. I got a Biscoff smoothie and a strawberry banana smoothie, both with classic pearls. The Biscoff smoothie tasted like graham crackers soaked in water, and the strawberry banana smoothie tasted like literal Pepto-Bismol. The boba was hard in the middle and my boyfriend described them as grainy. The service was fine. I still tipped her decently because I went there 20 min before closing so I felt bad. I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt and going with 2 stars instead of 1, given I went right before they closed. read more

I was visiting from out-of-state & it was so nice to see a boba place here. Thai tea is my go-to order & it did not disappoint! The staff is also so nice, they're all so smile-y & on our first day there, the person taking our order complimented me & my friend's outfits. Having come to a state I've never been to & feeling cast out, it was so nice. It started off the trip so nicely, and we ended up coming back every day since then. It seemed very personable, with a small crew, and the wait was decent. It seemed like it was pretty popular too as it was never empty, and if we were the first ones in there, two more groups would come in not long after. I was vacationing so I didn't necessarily care about price, but the price was a bit on the higher end relative to other places back home, but it's a different state & the only boba place I saw, so it didn't bother me but I understand if it's a pain point for others. I only tried the Thai tea, I would've loved to try more crafted drinks but it seems like they only do powdered milk teas (which I didn't know were powdered but that was probably because I'm used to Thai tea) & smoothies & other drinks, but for what it's worth I think the selection is solid, and they've got a good place going. This place has some amazing boba and drinks! I was also surprised to find they don't use dairy milk by default so all their milk teas are drinkable for those lactose intolerant. I live in an area in San Diego where there are boba shops within 5 miles of each other and this place is one I would've made regular if it was here. I ordered Boba today online the pick up time was meant to be 12:02 PM and my order wasn't ready until 12:40 PM normally this would make people think to get a low rating but when I got there the lobby was very busy and there was one worker who is taking orders, making drinks, washing dishes and doing everything alone. She had an awesome attitude she was extremely polite welcome every guest that walked through the door and made a very good drink she had apologized when she gave me my order and she explained that her helper had quit this morning. She deserved five stars because she was a hard worker she did not get stressed out and let that affect your work awesome place I hope they find workers to join her and boba bee stays open a long time. read more

worst thai tea boba i've ever had. i went and ordered a thai tea boba here hoping it was better than the boba bee in provo. i gave them a chance and now im seriously disappointed. the thai tea tasted soo chalky and absolutely disgusting. how can u guys be even the slightest bit successful when you don't even know how to make thai tea successfully? the color was all wrong, and it made me want to throw up. plus the tapioca pearls are all wrong. if you are hoping to try this new boba place, don't waste your time or your money. it's NOT worth it. read more
