Also I'm a fan of the barista options and the menu is organized well, the cup sizes are good but I usually don't go less than large, the ice can be a bit much in terms of making sure you get enough actual coffee but this is made up for in the pricing I think. I was excited to try this place but sadly I was very disappointed. First and most importantly, the coffee was bad. I got a basic vanilla latte with whole milk and it tasted burnt like plastic. I forced it down for the cost of it. The service was super quick which was good but not the friendliest service. Scared to come back I just can't with burnt coffee haha, such a bummer! read more

We were very pleasantly surprised by Grinders. I remember coming here and enjoying it when the shop opened about 4-5 years ago, but we've matured a lot with our coffee drinking and I don't always like the same places I did a few years back. This spot is still great! My husband has been on a 'shot in the dark' or a 'Red Eye' kick, and he said this is the best in Utah County. I tried a couple iced drinks here during our time in town, and they were all good. If you like flavored coffee drinks, go for it here. I was not disappointed with any of the drinks I tried. I found this one on Yelp on my way to visit family in Orem on a Sunday. I almost missed it. It's unassumingly attached to a valvoline station (bonus if you need a drive thru oil change. I first noticed the hoppin'' parking lot and drive thru. It must be popular because there was no lack of busy, but in a 'good busy' way. The line for the drive thru was long but they handled it with a decent quickness and the barista at the window was a delight. I ordered a large cold brew with cold foam and sugar -free caramel. Before you speak, I know...sugar- free can be dicey. And the research is clear that it's not the same as pure, sugar goodness. But when you're cutting out sugar, it's awesome to have the option when I'm vibing on a little party in my cup. It tastes like you would expect and isn't for the sugar crowd l. I also ordered a breakfast croissant with egg and cheese. They were out of ham but I'm ok with it. Can't really go wrong with hot, cheesy croissants, ham or not. I want to support any business that serves coffee on a Sunday in Orem, UT, especially when it's good. Grinders is a go. read more

These employees do such a great job. They also try to remember and get to know the customers. I also think their coffee is the best around. I miss it on vacation when I have to go to dutch bros. Even their food options are really upscale. And they offer non coffee energy drinks that are really great. This is by far my favorite coffee shop ever no complaints. Decent place for Orem, UT- I grabbed a mocha here and it was insanely sweet so if you're a regular coffee drinker then I'd ask them to make it at maybe 30% sweetness because definitely on the sweeter side which I guess isn't super surprising being in the heart of Orem. I came here often with my athlete. Several other people have vouched for the coffee and chai tea. Strong flavor, quality seems top notch (at least in Utah Valley terms). For the moment, this is the best quality coffee and chai available anywhere near. Would not go here again.. customer service was awful, girl upfront acts like she hates her job..which fair, but still extremely unhelpful for our first time in. For an empty coffee shop it sure took a long time to make one coffee. Handed me a blended drink with no straw, couldn't find one in the complementary area, had to stand up front again and waited for someone to notice me to get a straw for my coffee. They have a good range of coffee and coffee adjacent stuff, I personally love the ladybug energy drink they make and I normally don't go for that kind of stuff. Usually pretty good... aside from missing items and getting a wrong order twice, but this is just wrong. the croissant is burnt. it's obviously burnt so I'm not sure why they used it for my Breakfast sandwich. The folded ends are the worst part but usually my favorite part. I took the photo before I tried to eat it but the burnt taste just killed the sandwich. I am 100% about the foam. I love that thick dense silky foam perfectly blended with the crema of the espresso. This isn't the best foam I've ever had. It's a bit too airy and I could hear the steamer going a little too far past done. However, the espresso itself tastes pretty good. The shop is just awesome. Wonderful atmosphere, interesting art, good music, and comfortable seating. The staff is clean, friendly, quick and efficient. Overall not a bad place to hang out with some coffee. read more

My fiancé and I go to Grinders every Sunday morning. This is by far our favorite coffee shop in utah county. The coffee blend they use is delicious. We've tried blended and hot coffees, the energy drink mixes, muffins and sweet bread, and the breakfast sandwiches. Everything has been so tasty! Highly recommend. We sat in the drive through for a really long time, a good 10 minutes of that was just waiting for our order to be taken at the intercom. While we were waiting, we watched the grinders employees do a food trade with the pizza place next door while there were a good 5 or more cars in line behind us.
