Our daughter was recently diagnosed with a rare form of epilepsy, and this season has been incredibly heavy for our family. We stopped for coffee today just trying to get through another day, and the barista who took our payment and handed us our order kindly asked what fun plans we had. We shared, honestly, that our daughter has been going through a really tough time. Instead of just offering a polite response and moving on, she paused and asked what she could do for us. I simply said, "Please pray." Without hesitation, she told us she would pray for our daughter and for our family. That moment meant more than she probably realizes. In the middle of doctor appointments, uncertainty, and long days, her compassion brought us hope and comfort. It was more than customer service -- it was genuine kindness, empathy, and love. We walked away feeling seen and cared about, not just as customers, but as people. I truly hope her manager and team know what an incredible person they have. In a world that often feels rushed and impersonal, she went above and beyond in a way that deeply touched our family. We are so grateful for her kindness and for the light she brought into our day. Lady at the register wasn't paying attention and we waited for 5 minutes. She didn't even ask us if we were ready to order, she was on her phone the entire time. We tried giving them another chance but gave up. No one else even tried to take our order. read more

Asked for light ice, maybe it down the street before turning around to ask why they didn't put light ice in the cup. The lady gave us a bunch of grief about it when 3/4 of the cup is ice. Horrible service, the employee was rude, would not recommend going here read more

Looked up this particular Starbucks hours of operation. Said they were open till 9 PM. Drove all the way over there only to have the store closed. Starbucks should be updating their website to the correct time that the store closes. read more

I went through drive thru since I have a newborn it's more convenient for me just for ME to get a milky espresso that didn't taste like espresso at all & told the female barista after she handed me my drink she had horrible customer service and didn't apologize. I'm usually a stickler for Starbucks locations because I like to get out of the house often and work at a local Starbucks for a few hours. This one is probably one of the best Starbucks locations I've been in. Here are some of the reasons I like this one: - 4 big comfy chairs. - Power outlets at the bar, built into the long tables, next to the comfy chairs. All in very convenient locations. - Free Internet is fast. - Big windows in the right spot, looking out onto the road and the snow covered mountains. I would love to hang out here on a cold, snowy day. - Great location, right on the corner of 500 E and State St in American Fork. - Staff was very nice. This starbucks really is as good as it gets. Aside from being brand new, it was the best experience I have ever had a starbucks. The drive through speaker actually work. You can hear the person on the other end, and that person today beyond friendly. Typically starbucks has been a 6/10 on the service scale, but today it was a 10 and i'm not even mad about it. On a holiday of all days! I ordered my usual afternoon refreshment for a hot day, the very berry hibiscus cooler. Make sure you order light ice, otherwise they fill the cup to the top with ice and after a couple of swigs it is all gone. This location is conveniently located right on the corner, and it is easily accessible. If you are looking for a good Starbucks (not that you have much of a choice) this location is fantastic. read more

Friendly customer service through the drive through but I feel like inside is completely different. I try to do most of my ordering via mobile, when it comes time to pick up, there's never a smile, a hello, a thank you. Just some indifferent service. If you plan on going, go in the AM. Worst. Starbucks. Ever. They can not make a Very Berry Hibiscus Refresher. They never taste the same there twice. If your LUCKY enough to get the right ingredients they literally hand you a warm drink with melting ice in it. Are you the only Starbucks who keeps your ingredients on the shelf instead of refrigerated?! If you want to be charged $5 for a warm watered down drink THIS is your place. Great store location for anyone looking for a Bucks fix when driving on the 15 and you're near American Fork UT. Just take the 500 E. exit and go towards State Street, you will see it on the corner of 500 E and State St. The staff is amazingly cheery considering it's a new location and they're working out the kinks. First store I have been too that the barristers actively work at remembering your name, in fact, I came on opening day (Monday) and came back for my morning coffee the next day and BAM, they remembered my drink choice and name. The location is worker and student friendly with clean bathrooms and fast WiFi along with plenty of power outlets. read more

Love this Starbucks it's my go to. They usually get the drinks on point, most of the time. My biggest complaint is the temperature inside, they always have the A/C blasting (even in the winter and cold days). It makes the inside very unpleasant to be. I would avoid this Starbucks next time, even if I'm nearby. I went with my elderly Father-In-Law, who speaks only Spanish, during a slow time of the day. I needed a little extra time to explain the menu to him and knew little about espressos. If you're a little ignorant about coffee, be prepared to have rude responses.
