Amazingly good and fast for an airport. I used the app too which made it easier, can't go wrong with Shake Shack

Bacon, Egg n Cheese Breakfast Sandwich

Southwest Terminal, arrived around 7:50a and while the Starbucks next door was ridiculous, I was happy to see Shake Shack with only 2 folks ahead of me! Ordered at the Kiosk, but they also offer in-person/counter ordering. Kiosk was pretty easy, Bacon Egg and Cheese Sandwich for the win, Breakfast Tots and Small Lemonade. Airport prices, so yeah, this was a $16 meal. The order took all of 5 min to be ready and that was exactly what I hoped. Looking down in the bag, there were ample Breakfast Tots! Sandwich had a fair amount of bacon and melted cheese. The taste of the Sandwich was perfect and enjoyable, very filling. I couldn't even get through 1/2 the Tots because there were so many. The short interaction I had with the staff, no problem. Friendly and efficient. Time to fly!

I believe this is my 4th time having SS. Three times in an airport and once in CO. It's always been fresh and delicious. This specific airport location in STL is in the Southwest terminal. The kiosk makes it simple to order. After $13 and a short wait I had a delicious egg and cheese breakfast sandwich and a cookies and cream milkshake. What a great way to start your travel day!

This rating is for breakfast in the new St Louis airport location. I ordered the egg white arugula sandwich which I waited almost 20 minutes for only to find a very lame sandwich with one arugula leaf on it and barely an egg white on a drab burger bun. The kicker was that they handed it to me in a carry box that was inside a big bag...ridiculous. The coffee was undrinkable and tasted like muddy sour coffee beans. Double ugh!

The worst Shake Shack I've ever tried, sadly. Maybe I should have expected it because it's located in an airport... but everything was greasy and overpriced. Sadly, I wouldn't get SS again at Lambert airport.

Burgers in the middle of America - 2 of 2 While Southwest often connects you at Chicago's Midway Airport, they also do so at St. Louis Lambert Field. I'd say I prefer the latter, where Southwest seems to have all the gates at Terminal 2. So, what else do MDW and STL have in common? That would be a lack of recognizable food options. In using STL T2 one night, I needed to eat at around dinnertime. I went to where I thought there would be a Burger King. There once was at a larger counter slotted into the bank of food and retail, but it is now a Shake Shack. It's currently the only chain operated fast food venue in Terminal 2. The line was almost off putting, as in considering forgoing eating. It moved a little more quickly than I thought it would. While it did move, making and getting the food took a lot longer. That said, I had to position myself at those raised charging tables across the concourse for them to call out that my food was ready. I was surprised that the Shake Shack employees remained polite and composed through all of this. The food - a broiled/grilled chicken burger and a soft drink - was fine. Thus, what detracts are the long lines, the prices (higher than those of the BK that used to be here), and the fact that there's no eating area with tables in close proximity to this Shake Shack in this terminal. This is such a mixed bag, that it seems to average out, or round up or down, to 3 stars.

Even for airport food, I regret it. Tiny sandwich at a larger price. Id recommend trying just about anywhere else if you can.

So my husband got the hot dog and gave me a bite. Ive never had a Chicago dog. But after my one bite I started to feel regret about my hamburger. I wanted to fight my husband for his yummy dog. And I had buyers remorse until I bit into my hamburger. People this place is devine this burger is placed safely on the best bread. Ok i didn't do my homework I cant tell you what kind of bread they use on the hotdogs or hamburgers but its uniquely yummy. Just a devine experience. The fries they shake Larry's on the hot fries. The cheese melted on the fries is the best choice in my opinion the nacho cheese is ok it has a after taste. Now the cherry coke was amazing they dont make fountain drinks like this no more. Look by the power invested in me by yelp I humbly announce them to be a powerhouse of flavor and a must try. Take the family or a date. Grandfather will love this place. I simply ate to fast so no pictures this visit! Byè

Looks like they have been around for a long time and the k terror is covered with signed headshots of old tv personalities. The hot dogs all looked good, so I tried the Big Herm dog, which is a footling version of the Chicago dog. It comes in 2 regular buns and was cut in half, so basically 2 of the regular. It was tasty, hot and covered in all of the right Chicago dog toppings! Wonderful, and clearly what this place is known for! The fries and drink were not as good. Lemonade tasted like a mix and was super sweet and the fries were super salty. If it wasn't for ketchup, I'm not sure I could have eaten them. Almost everyone I saw in there got cheese sauce on theirs, and I wonder now if it was to cover the salt taste. Fun place to try, and clearly a part of local history.

The restaurant is delightfully unpretentious--not in an ironic way, but in a "our food speaks for itself; sit at a stool or take it to go, we know you'll be back" kind of way. We ordered the tofu BTS, chicken BTS, kimchee, and a cheesy Korean corn dog. I added a side of red gochujang, which paired really well with the tofu, adding a bit more heat to the BTS sauce. The kimchee had a delicious umami aroma, but the flavor itself was a bit blunter in terms of spice. Still very good--just not what you might expect based on the smell, which was also good but different. The Korean corn dog... I'd never had a Korean corn dog before, so this was a new experience for me. At first, I thought it was just a giant, corn-dog-shaped cheese stick, but halfway through you get a bite of Korean hot dog. I might try another one, in my life in general, but I didn't totally fall in love with the actual Korean hotdog part. (Used to be pescatarian, so this might track) I even added ketchup and sugar to part of it as these were the condiments it came with. I didn't think I'd like that combination (sweeter ketchup), but I was pleasantly surprised. I've liked this spot ever since I moved to the area about three years ago. Back then, they only offered chicken and shrimp. Over time, they added some beef dishes, limited vegetable options, ramen, then tofu and Korean corn dogs. However, they no longer serve ramen, beef, or warm vegetable dishes. I really wish they'd add a veggie option again, but they clearly know what they're doing. On past visits, the owners have always been very kind. Tonight was a bit different tho, I'm not sure how long they've been offering homemade chicken dog treats, but they had them as a special tonight. The owner was kind enough to transfer custody of a few to me for my dog. He loved them

She went with the rib tips, and I ordered the turkey ribs. The wait was around 30 minutes, but honestly, it was well worth it -- my turkey ribs were tender, flavorful, and hit the spot. My mom's rib tips were a bit too tough and tough to chew, but the staff handled it well. Instead of a refund, they offered to replace it with a burger and a Polish, which came out to the same price -- fair trade in my book. The restaurant was well lit, clean, and had plenty of parking, which makes a big difference when it's busy. Overall, I'd definitely come back or recommend this spot if you're in the mood for some solid BBQ. The food was so good I forgot to even take a picture before digging in!

I opted for "the luch combo" with ribs tips and two sides (potato salad and green bean). Service: Was ok, nothing really spectacular. Received "matter of fact attitude" while placing order. We opted to dine in. A great touch- The cashier checked in and asked if we were ok after approximately 30 mins into dining. That was nice, didn't really expected it. Food: Green beans were room temp however flavorful, with pieces of turkey and a lil kick! Would have been much better served hot! Potato salad- good, made with sweet relish and on the sweeter side. I tend to prefer tangy instead, however it was a nice change to have. Ribtips- OK, some portions hard to chew, other tender. Definitely required some flossing lol lol. Ambiance- Music playing in the background, slightly on the louder side, which will make it a little difficult to converse. Cost- A little pricey if just buying meat. I was not informed that if I pay with debit card, prices are higher. I realized it after I had already rung up and received my receipt and I questioned it. More transparency would be nice. Recommendation: Try them out if you are in the area!

Vibe & Seating: Typical airport "out at the gates" kinda vibe with travelers rushing past behind you. There's a nice long counter area with a few chairs and a couple of small tables next to the restaurant where you can sit and eat. Service Speed: (5/5!) Courteous & calm counter service that was actually rather fast for my cooked-to-order burger. Unlike some of the other reviews here, With one party ahead of me, it took just 5 minutes to receive my order of.. My order: "Black 'n Blue Chicken Stack" - (4.1/5) This is a grilled chicken breast served on a toasted brioche bun with just a hint of "blackened" seasoning, lettuce and tomato. - The chicken breast was fully cooked yet still moist to the bite. It isn't a huge burger but not tiny either - just about the right amount. They toasted the bun just right. I also asked for my blue cheese to be served separately, and they nailed it. :) low expectations here, I know... lol. Curly Fries: (5/5) A welcome surprise on my plate was a small portion of seasoned curly fries, which were totally yummy - crisp on the outside, giving way easily to the tender core. It wasn't a huge pile of fries, but again, like the burger a "right" sized amount that isn't going to make you feel like you are overeating. House Salad: According to a fellow patron, the house salad (basically a Cobb) was pretty good. It certainly looked and sounded crunchy fresh! Verdict: (4.2/5) Decent fresh fast food that is yummy and not over salted or over seasoned. This is a good choice to hit again the next time I am traveling through Termjnal 1 at STL/Lambert Airport.
