Double smoke shack, and fries with a Coke
Ben B.

The food came quickly and the burger was quite good. The fries were ok. I'm thinking maybe the fry oil needs changing. The service was prompt and cheerful. There's plenty of seating. The tv's could go away in my opinion. I had the double smoke shack and fries. The burger was awesome!

Love Shake Shack and their style of burgers! We stopped in for a quick bite to eat - you can order at the counter, kiosk, or on the app. Service was relatively fast, it seemed like they had a lot of to go orders! We got the Chicken Shack (so yummy and juicy), Double Shack Burger (perfect patties and so yummy), and spicy fries with ranch (they actually had quite a kick! The ranch was great). Overall this is a great location in the CWE and has good service and great food!

Great burger and fries, clean and easy to order. Some homeless lady was trying to beg for some money inside is the only reason for 4 stars and that is more about the area than the restaurant.

I ate here while waiting for my flight. You order your food from an electronic panel, like a big iPad. I had to wait a bit for my food, but the wait wasn't any longer than at a typical Shake Shack. They had very little (no?) seating so I ate at my gate. The food was good, as good as I'd expect. I do think they were more expensive than usual though; my Smoke Shack burger, regular fries and a small Coke were $18; maybe that's because it's at the airport. Regardless, of the fast food places at Terminal 2, I'd say this is my new go-to place.

Shake Shack in the Central West End is my go to burger place. The Smoke Shack is probably my favorite burger from any chain restaurant. While the Smoke Shack is the only burger I get, I always get a different shake or fries while I am there and am rarely disappointed. If it was only a discussion about the food Shake Shack would be a five out of five for me. That being said there are some things about this location and Shake Shack in general that leave a little to be desired. For starters, the prices are high for a chain burger place. I have seen some other reviews that say that this is specific to the STL locations, but regardless I always feel like I am spending more that I should be. As for the service, I feel very indifferent. I think that they are typically quick, but there have been some times where we have had to wait nearly 20 minutes when there is no one else in the restaurant. Finally, the Central West end location from an aesthetic perspective is uninteresting and leaves no real reason to stay and eat. All that being said, the Smoke Shack is my comfort burger that I will come back time and time again for! I just find myself ordering takeout more often than not.

I love Shake Shack! One of my favorite fast food burgers. Plus the milkshakes are bomb. The fries are okay in my opinion but not bad. At this location, service has been good but not amazing. Food comes out pretty quickly. - Smokeshack (4.5/5): Always delicious, so flavorful. Love the peppers and the flavor of the burger. My go to. - Oreo shake (4.5/5): Super creamy, love the huge chunks of Oreo. - Cheese fries (4/5): A bit salty with the cheese, but still good.

Came in a few weeks ago with the work crew for a goodbye lunch. A co-worker was leaving and loves burgers. He'd never been and was excited to try. Parking sucks, if you're able to walk or carpool, I highly suggest those options, otherwise good luck with finding a parking spot and be prepared to pay for the meters. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The food is extremely overpriced and simply just OK........ I purchased an Oreo shake, small fry, single smokeshack, sauce on the side and 6pc chicken bite. The best part of my meal was the shake. The burger was lacking a little something, something. The fries were hot-n-fresh but still just average. The chicken I was taking home as a treat for my fur-baby but I ended up just giving them to my mother since I stopped by her house after work. My co-worker swore by the shroomburger, I should have tried that. I tasted Shake Shack when they 1st opened and my sister brought burgers to the house and it was really good. I don't know what's happened. I find this location to be very hit-n-miss. One occasion I stopped in after having drinks in the area with the BF and the place smelled sooo putrid we refused to stay and eat. I would have to highly think about returning.

First time and it was enjoyable. The menu was as straightforward. The shake shack burger was a little small but tasty. I ordered and devoured the cookies and cream shake. The dining room was big and very clean. If you are dining in then they give you a number and they bring it to your table. They are pretty efficient. The downside of this location is the no parking lot and lack of close street parking.

I feel like there is always a line to order and then a little bit of a longer wait for the food. It's still great, don't get me wrong. But, sometimes it just seems that the price of the meal doesn't add up to the size of the meal. It's pricey that some burger places. The parts of the burger that I do like is how they can make the patty a little more crispy on the ends. The fries are nothing special, but I always still get them cause they are a classic. I didn't picture the shake. Sometimes they have rotating shakes based on the season, so those are always fun to try. But, I think I've never been that big of a fan of milkshakes, so I would just give it a 3/5.

This location is a hit or miss. Sometimes they can mess your order up, and sometimes they can knock it out of the park. Can't go wrong with their double smoke stack burger. Cheese fries is a must if you want to push it to the limit.

This was the closest spot on the way to the airbnb so this was the choice. I do like the name too... have you been naughty or nice? It seemed their main draw was whether you want 1, 2, 3, 4, or 5 scoops. The scoops were huge and they seemed reasonably priced. I can't remember exactly but the prices were something like 1 scoop(5 dollars), 2 scoops (8 dollars), 3 (10 dollars), all the way up to 5 scoops (15 dollars). Definitely more reasonable the more scoops you order. Maybe the 5 scoops are for naughty people and naughty people deserve the multi-scoop discount too. Anyway, I went with 2 scoops (Biscoff and Midnight Pleasures(dark chocolate ice cream). I couldn't resist adding honey whipped cream and cherries. Got it all in a waffle bowl. Biscoff - Delicious ice cream. Midnight Pleasures - I love dark chocolate. I prefer it. Not sure how I feel about this ice cream flavor. It was very rich and almost tasted dry(which is odd since it's ice cream). It tasted fine but I doubt I'd go to this flavor again. Honey whipped cream - I'm not sure I've ever had honey whipped cream and now I crave it. It's very specific but when you get that surge of honey... drool. Cherries - Juicy and delicious. Perfect for my bowl. We wanted to go back before we left town but got busy and weren't able to. The standout is definitely that whipped cream. I think it's a must-add for any of their ice cream flavors.

They're pretty bold and a little more creative. There is a slight coconut undertone which I don't mind and a lighter texture but doesn't take away from the experience! Service was pretty quick, it wasn't busy when we stopped by. This location is bigger compared to the other ones so there's plenty of seats.

The step-less entry into the parlor has the offerings displayed largely on the main wall so you can see what flavors are available. The best flavor of the spring is the goat cheese and red cherry. A now discontinued specialty flavor, salted caramel, is the best so if you see those bright orange pints - buy one for me! The prices have gotten a little higher over the years but for specialty flavors and proper proportions, it can be justified if you are in the mood for a sweet treat. Plus that smell of freshly made waffle cones and bowls makes it all worth it. The service is also top-tier. The servers never seem to be annoyed with how many flavors I ask to sample and with every sample they describe the texture and flavor profile of the ice cream. There is a restroom inside the parlor, but you need a code from the servers to get in as it is more of a public space. It is wide enough for a wheelchair, but you may require assistance as the door is a little heavier.

Flavor and Savor Clementine's is not just an ice cream shop,…read moreit's a happy place. They know how to build a space for eating ice cream, and they've thought about every inch of it. Colorful wallpaper wraps the room and at first glance reads as charmingly vintage, until you look closer and realize: it's ice cream wallpaper. Of course it is. The whole place rewards a second look. The chalkboard menu lays out the full lineup, including their signature alcohol-infused flavors (naughty) right alongside the family-friendly options (nice). It's busy in there, and on this particular night, you could tell at least one staff member was running on fumes and ready to move the line along. That's fair. But the broader vibe is staff who meet you where you are, offer samples, and let you take your time deciding. I knew what I wanted: salted caramel, cookies and cream, and Midnight Pleasures (their dark chocolate). Both delivered. We came here with friends after a great Vietnamese dinner up the street, and Clementine's is the perfect cap to a night out in the Central West End. This particular location is roomy enough to handle a group of six or more comfortably, which is genuinely rare for Clementine locations. Plenty of seating, plenty of space to settle in. Here's what sets Clementine's apart from the field: the flavors are approachable without being too hipster. There's a faithfulness to their approach without any pretension. Some novelty ice cream shops are all about "look at this weird thing we made" ...Clementine's is about thought. They've put real care into each flavor and they let you be the decider. That's a meaningful difference. 4.7 of 5 out of stars, easy. Stay a while. Give the staff a break and it's a solid 5 out of 5. If Clementine's were a character, it would be Mary Poppins. Practically perfect, a little magical, sweet without being saccharine. She doesn't move into your neighborhood, she shows up for an evening and makes it feel like an event. The wallpaper, the chalkboard, the boozy flavors next to the kid flavors, all of it is a spoonful of sugar with real craft behind it. You don't need her every day. You need her for the magical night. You can also grab pints to take home, which is dangerous if you live nearby. (Could you go every day? Yes. Twice a day if your metabolism can handle it? Also yes.)
