We waited over an hour for our food. When they brought it, they forgot half of our order. They don't have people to clean tables.

I come to this location often, as it's an easy drive and I like good food. When it's hot, it's absolutely delicious! Another plus--I don't think I've ever had to go back because any part of my order was incorrect. Warning for app/online order placers--you'll be given a pickup time window, and the confirmation email says to come up within 5 minutes of the window if you haven't received a text. If your window is 4:30-4:35, be in the drive through by 4:35. The last couple of times I waited the 5 minutes (especially if it looks busy) and my food was getting cold and my drink was watered down. Best experience is sitting in the restaurant and ordering once you get there! :) read more

Worst service!!!!! They see you there waiting for an online order where it clearly states: online order pick up and yet nobody bothers checking. They had online order through drive thru window . So I'm waiting over 20 minutes when the stupid bag is on the drive thru. Why bother having employees if even you are there you have to order yourself and do everything. Stupid stupid place. The food was pretty good. Way better than In N Out. I loved the fries just wished they had a bigger amount. The servers were nice and the place was very clean. It can be expensive though. And the burgers can be quite greasy. My stomach kinda hurts a little bit after eating it. read more

I feel so un-hip leaving a poor review, but I absolutely don't get the hype. $15 for an average single patty burger, fries and tea? And all self-service at kiosks to order your food. They obviously aren't passing on the labor savings. But worse, you're touching a screen that's been used by a LOT of people before you just before you eat with your hands. And, DON'T get in line behind any families. It will take a long time to order. Why not just go to any one of the dozens of other burger places that are a third less expensive and they don't pawn the ordering process off on you? You can complain all you want, but these guys know how to make a good burger. Is it cheap? No, but either is Chipotle and I spend $60 for a family of four there too. Both kids said it was the best burger they've had in a long time. My daughter had a GF bun and loved it. My wife had it in a lettuce wrap. My son had a shake with his burger, and I had a chicken sandwich (these are amazing here btw). They make black and whites?? Yes please. Do I like spending this much on a fast meal? First time visiting shake shack. I ordered online then went inside to pick up. Wasn't busy asked the guy next to me how do I know when mine is ready? He said they text you . So I stood there for about 20 minutes know one asked if they could help me. So I got someone's attention and asked about my order. He asked me to show my email and then he went to a rack and it was sitting on a shelf he tried to hand it to me and I said how long has it been sitting there? Food is okay... service is pretty iffy. I am okay with them not offering drive up but if they is the case, they need to be more responsive about the online orders. I placed an order in the parking lot and it told me it would be 20 minutes for two shakes. That seems excessive. I finally just drove up to the drive thru after 15 minutes and my shakes had been sitting there ready. Another time, i ordered ahead and drove up and again, my shakes were sitting ready to be given to me but I still hadn't been prompted by the app. They need a better hand hold between the app and the store. Orders should not be sitting, waiting to be picked up (with people waiting to be prompted to head to the restaurant). This is inefficient and a waste. read more

I ordered at 5:45 and was given a pickup time of 5:56-6:01. I never got a text that it was ready. At 6:06 I started calling. No one answered. I called over 10 times. At 6:16 I walked in. My order had been sitting at the window for 20 mins. I tried a fry to see if it was cold and it was. They remade it. When I said I never got a text she giggled and said "I know". No apologies, nothing. Then I watched her hand the meal that I had just touched to an employee who took it, looked at me and laughed and then proceeded to eat it. Food is good but they randomly turn off the online ordering - no rhyme or reason. When you order inside, you have to wait like 15 minutes for your food, which isn't ideal when picking up takeout. The online ordering system is great when it's turned on but the employees turn it off often and sporadically. Never ever see this with other locations, just alpharetta. Update 2 weeks later: wanted to order shake shack tonight and wouldn't you know it but online ordering is turned off for alpharetta...at 7:30. If I'm going to have to wait inside to pick up my food, I'll just go to Five Guys. We were so excited to try this location. Don't freak out if the line is long. It moves fast. The ability to use self-service ordering with our credit cards was very convenient. They sent us a text message when our food was ready. The food-Let's get straight into it because that is what we did to this amazing meal. Our burgers were awesome and cooked perfect as always. Juicy with crispy edges. It's not often to be able to get both in a burger but they pull it off each time. The fries were hot and crispy. I love their unique lemonade flavors. I don't remember which one we got, but it was one of their summer specials. Though they were busy, the customer service was on point, the restaurant was clean, and our food was amazing. I definitely recommend trying this new location! This location is only 15 minutes from us so we're definitely putting this in our rotation of places to eat burgers. Yum! read more

I'd like to nominate myself for employee of the week. I missed training, but managed to order quickly and accurately at the kiosk. Because these are restaurant prices, I have matching expectations of not only the food but the service too. Food would be 4ish stars, but everything else is lacking. New operation but it isn't clean. Side station is a mess and so is the bathroom. I'm sensitive to staffing issues in the world right now, but they have plenty of people working for a Tuesday night at 7:00, approximately 40% full. The problem begins and ends with people management. The only "adult" is busy expediting food, leaving teenagers to interact with guests. I watched the four groups behind us get their food first before approaching the counter. I wasn't brusque, intimidating, rude, etc... I just got the dismissive, no eye contact, curt, "it's coming next." Then four teenagers got their food as I watched them scramble. Five more minutes pass and the adult turns around with our tray, says the name and, again no eye contact, acknowledgement, apology, excuse, turns back to expediting. We're missing two minor items (a condiment and a side) and I have the kitchen receipt to prove I ordered them, but I don't have the time or patience left to ask. So again I'll say...I nominate me for best employee. Food is only half of your product. Your people served food, but not this customer. The Shake Shack model works. Your people need better training. service is always garbage, everyone seems miserable, the burgers are soggy, the fries always taste bitter like they're cooked in oil that needs to be changed (I've worked in kitchens I would know) they skimp sauce portions always and the drinks are either flat or lacking flavor (lemonade).
