Became overpriced. Food is good but has become unaffordable. Grocery store delis are just as good for less

Baltic Deli - Pierogi with cucumber salad and Cabbage Roll with mashed potatoes

Baltic Deli is a cute Polish deli selling fresh food, meats, and snacks from Poland. It is like an…read moreEastern European grocery store combined into a deli. After going to the Atlanta Christkindl Market and trying pierogis for the first time and falling in love with them, I wanted to find a spot that actually sold them in store. The lady behind the counter explained all the food available to us so service was very friendly. There are a small number of tables for seating, so the ambiance inside is not loud. We got the Pierogis (Meat & Potato + Cheese) and Cucumber Salad. I loved the potato and cheese pierogis! I got them with caramelized onions and a cucumber salad on the side (there were other salad options), which had a nice dill dressing on it that paired well with pierogis. The pierogis were really soft and chewy, which I think is how they are meant to be made, but I wish the pierogis were a bit less doughy for my taste bud preference. My friend really liked the pierogis with meat, although I am not sure what kind of meat was used. This is a really quaint eatery! I think if you have not tried Polish food, then this is the place to go. I will say it was a bit pricey? Almost $16 for five pierogis (albeit they were large and filling) and a side of salad. Overall, I would probably rate this place a 4.5/5 stars if I could.

Baltic deli did not disappoint in the slightest. Everything was so fresh and delicious, the pierogies were perfectly pillowy. The service there is truly amazing as they were out of some of the cheese and potato pierogies when I arrived, but they quickly made a fresh batch to order for me. Outside of the counter service, Baltic deli also has a great market where you can purchase goods to prepare your own meals at home. This place feels so authentic and brings a new meaning to comfort food.

Parking can get alittle tight in peak lunch times but they do have a gravel parking lot where you can park in case the street parking is full. Upon walking inside, I noticed how it had a very home feeling to it. I was immediately greeted by the super friendly female employee. I ordered the Roast Beef with provolone sandwich (regular size) which was approximately 8 inches. I opted for the combo option which included a drink and chips (or cookie). My sandwich was amazing. The roast beef was shaved and had incredibly flavor to it. It came with lettuce and tomatoes and had a right blend of mayo to it. The sweet tea was blended perfectly as it wasn't overly sweet. I really enjoyed my salt/vinegar chips. The price of sandwiches weren't bad for the portion and even subway has more expensive sandwiches than here with less quality Ingridents. I will definitely be back to try out their other sandwiches! I highly recommend this place if your in the area and want a good homemade sandwich.

I then requested double cheese on my sandwich, and it wasn't what I would consider "double," especially since my sandwich cost $24.95. You hardly notice the horseradish cream sauce. Is the beef really wagyu, because I've had better roast beef from Publix? It was still edible, but the red onion and arugula were the dominant flavors. The bread looks good in the picture, but I wouldn't write home to mama about it. It's Milton, so I guess the community members don't pay attention to the price tag. The interior dining area is usually pretty clean, however, the bathrooms could use regular sprucing up; the faucet on the sink sprayed water all over my shorts when I started washing my hands (an indication that the downspout was partially clogged) and I noticed that multiple paper towels & tissue paper pieces were on the floor. The bathroom also smelled of sour mop bucket. In this experience, I did not get what I paid for, even with a discounted voucher.

The chicken noodle soup was good, albeit not what I think of when I think "traditional" chicken noodle soup with carrots and celery, etc. It had mushrooms and scallions in it - still very tasty, just unexpected. I enjoyed the fresh crispy bread given to add to the soup. The potato salad was also a nice side. It wasn't Southern style - I'm guessing it was NY style, but it was still a good side. Everything was made fresh. I would love to try other items from here some time. The name on Uber Eats is slightly different, like NY Deli Bagel Cafe, just to note. I also got the breakfast plate with hash browns, over easy eggs, and bacon. I was kind of sad my yolks were broken open but it did come a long way so it was fine. The bacon was hidden underneath the eggs. Everything tasted fine though. Overall, I would definitely try more items again sometime.

After I paid, I noticed I was charged $6.95, a 40% increase! When I brought this to the cashier's attention, she said I should've known what the correct price was (how would I have known?) when I asked to speak with a manager, I was told a manager won't be here until Tuesday (why isn't there a manager on the busiest day of the week?). When I simply asked for a refund for the difference, the cashier gave me a facial expression that implied I was crazy for asking for such. This was an incredibly disappointing experience. They will happily charge you 40% more than advertised and won't take any action to help remediate customer concerns. Scummy business

Within a strip mall, there's parking readily available. It's fast casual, meaning you'll order at the counter and then take a number where your food is quickly delivered to your table. They have breakfast until 10:30 AM, then there's a 30 min transition to lunch which starts at 11. I arrived at noon- the place is busy, they have so many options for meals that it was difficult to choose. I went with an Italian sub and a Diet Coke, I figured how can you go wrong with their number one item on the menu? Delicious, and with the banana peppers it made for a great sandwich! Service is so wonderful. And they have a bakery and bar in house....dangerous all around! Family friendly and for me, having a casual lunch meeting was no problem! Support small owned businesses!

I was greeted LIKE I was wanted! So thank you to the wonderful young lady behind the register taking orders. I was scanning the menu as it was my first time visiting. After learning this information she quickly ran me through some of her favorite options, and answered all questions(knowledgeably I might add) I had myself about the menu. I chose the Marshal as well as a slice of the Heat of the Week. Because....why not. And by the way, the Marshall is not shown. My belly would not allow me to reach for my camera after first visualization. The pizza was heaven at first bite. Perfect undercarriage while fresh ingredients cooked to perfection on top. Then......the Marshal. Ooooohhhhhh the Marshal. Their version of a hot Italian beef. And what a phenomenal version at that. Wonderful spice and the right about of heat. Tender juicy beef. No regrets. I was introduced to Miss Marie and talk about a blessing on Earth. Talked to me like an old friend of the family. Even checked on me herself after receiving my food to go. Can not wait to go back!! 10 outta 10!
