We picked out our shower materials at Home Depot, and he purchased everything for us and provided receipts so we always knew exactly what we were paying for. Found these folks from doing a quick Yelp search and decided to go with their services for a few reasons: 1. Even though they didn't have many reviews, the ones they did have were all extremely positive, which gave me the confidence to take a chance on them. 2. Got a quick response to my inquiry via Yelp. 3. Nick was the person I communicated with throughout most of the process -- from getting the initial quote, talking details, and coordinating/securing a time frame -- he was super easy to talk with and was prompt in responding. 4. They were able to accommodate us and fit us into their schedule, since we wanted to get the work done soon (like within a couple weeks). 5. Veteran owned and operated. Nick was very clear with the scope of work, detailing everything they'd be doing and outlining the cost breakdown, as communicated through the official quote he provided; all of it was straightforward and made logical sense, so it was really simple to understand. You get exactly what you pay for. A two-person crew (Paul and Scott) was assigned to our project, and they did an amazing job of plastering, smoothing out, and painting our ceilings! I was very impressed by the team's high-quality workmanship, professionalism, and work ethics. The job was completed in the allotted time, and they took great care in cleaning up the unit after they were all done. This was our first time hiring contractors on our own to do a "big" project (for them it was a small job lol!), and we are really happy and relieved that things went so smoothly. I never felt stressed whenever I was dealing with Nick or his team members; everyone was super cool and a joy to work with. From what Nick tells me, they typically take on larger projects, but that they try to squeeze in little jobs here and there if they're able to. They don't normally work weekends but made an exception for us, since one of their team members was willing to work through Saturday and Sunday. For that, I am truly grateful, as we're on a tight schedule to get the unit ready by a certain timeframe. Overall, a very positive experience! Roger came to my home and gave me my estimate. He wasn't the highest or the lowest. He worked along with Naka's Marble (808-841-5434 ask for Chay) and Optimal Plumbing [808-609-7364]. Online Construction scheduled ALL work days. I did contact Naka's Marble previously for an estimate/installation (walls only). Optimal Plumbing did the shower drainage and faucets. Our condo has some pretty strict requirements such as putting them under Hy's insurance policy and getting everything approved. Josh helped us with the process, and got our condo on their policy quickly. After we signed with them, we did a walk through of our condo, they were very detailed in asking questions to understand what we wanted and were super helpful and patient with our many questions lol. They got rid of our all our popcorn ceiling, carpet, installed vinyl plank for our entire condo, as well as change out our bathroom vanities & mirrors, and made shelves for our bathrooms. It turned out even better than I expected honestly! Afterwards I remember looking up at our ceiling and feeling grateful of how smooth and well done it is and the vinyl planks were done beautifully. Everything was really meticulously done even down to the quarter rounds that line the edges of our flooring. Mr. He and his partner did most of the work, he was very communicative, professional and even did many little extra things for us around the house that my husband thought of later like installing shower/tower rods so everything matched, at a very reasonable price, he even painted our door for free!
