1/29/26 (4.5 stars) - Installed an Oasis 360 mailbox. Labor estimate reasonable. Provided photos of the old box, the wooden post front & side, and new box with diagram of dimensions/bolt size prior to job. Received an ETA text a few minutes after the appointed time, which I appreciated. Kai and Pono went to work removing the old box and making a new plywood base for the new. They wanted to go to City Mill because he didn't have the right bolts. Told him ok to use what he had, and I would take care of it later. Otherwise, I would have given 5 stars. Additional $15 for materials and provided tip. Courteous and friendly. read more

Very professional and punctual. Job (door installation) was finished within estimated timeframe. Excellent value overall. Highly recommend.

Kai and his team are experienced professionals. Sky HI Services are prompt, courteous, and thorough in their work. The project I hired Sky HI for was completed promptly and thoughtfully. When any design decision came up, Kai brought it to my attention, and provided solution suggestions based on his experience. To put it plainly - he didn't just 'make it work,' he took the proper time to complete the project the correct way; even if you weren't going to see the work after the project was complete. Lastly, Sky HI finished the project cleanly, and left the area inthe same, if not better shape than when they arrived. I would certainly hire them again. read more

Excellent service from Kai at Sky HI services! His fast response, timely service and excellent skill were all a breath of fresh air. I called around for an window air conditioning install, Kai's rates were very reasonable and I'm very pleased with the results. Kai is easy to contact, quick to get the work completed and his work quality is professional. I have a couple friends who want to hire him after hearing about my successful experience. read more

We've used Kai twice now; originally to install a new mailbox. We were so totally impressed by the quality of his work we've regularly recommended him to our friends and family. His prices are very competitive. Just recently we decided to fence our yard. We have a very challengingly shaped yard so we were concerned about how it would go. Once again we were incredibly impressed by not only how quickly he got it finished but the quality and beauty of the job he did. One other key point is that he is very meticulous and cleans up after he's done! We would recommend Kai and his team to anyone for any job you have. He's wonderful! read more

Kai and the crew are extremely experienced professionals. Took us a long time to get contractors to reframe an opening expansion, and within a day and a half, Kai came and quoted and completed the project. The crew were prompt, knowledgeable of the proper project processes, and finished the project clean and tidy. Will definitely utilize their services again and highly recommend Sky Hi Services. read more

Kai, did an awesome job installing my security door and even installed the deadbolt and door knob when I only needed the door installed. Really cool guy and I highly recommend him!! read more

Is there a higher rating than 5? This household has just found its handyman. Kai walked in like a Boss and handled biz. We purchased a new stove that had a deeper counter depth than the last. No problem. Most of the time was spent meticulously building a dust containment making clean up quick an easy. He definitely left our house better than he found it. Big thanks for the patient perfect work! read more

UPDATE since owner replied: Would've been nice to know it would take a month for an estimate to renovate a kitchen and 2 bathrooms. I'm glad you were able to text me after I left a review. I had 4 other companies come out after you and they've all given us estimates in a few days. I waited a whole week after my last estimate to see if you would get back to us. I never leave reviews but I feel it's important for yelp customers to know my experience as it was very similar to 2 other reviews you had. I contacted companies based on Yelp reviews. Requested an estimate for a kitchen and bathroom renovation. Kai showed up and didn't take any notes or measurements of what we wanted done. At the end of the visit, he did take some pictures. Almost 3 weeks later and still didn't receive an estimate. If you're not interested in doing the job, just say so instead of leaving a potential customer hanging. read more

Used Kai, to install and replace a window ac unit at two of my properties. He arrived before scheduled time, after he gave me a fair price quote online. worked efficiently and and did a great job on the craftsmanship. The only thing that I would have wished he did differently is when removing the jealousies from the window, to stack it outside instead of on my bed. But the quality of work was definitely worth the price. I would use him again, as I am already working with him on a project for another property I have. 4.5 stars read more

I had purchased 2 ceiling fans that needed to be installed. Both Home Depot and Lowes said if their was no ceiling fan originally there, their handyman would not install. I got a quote to have 2 ceiling fans installed by several handyman. I work with scheduling home maintenance, so I know how long it would normally take. Kai was the cheapest, and looking at his reviews, i decided to go with him. He was able to accommodate my time requested on such short notice. He notified me that the ceiling fans may need mounting boxes, and I understood what he meant. I already purchased those. He came in and was out in just over an hr. He asked me about taking out the boxes, I told him to leave them as I have a bunch more I'll be disposing of. Kai's communication was always quick as I did late afternoon inquiry. He is very respectful and did a great job. I would highly recommend him. read more

Kei was super responsive when I posted ISO a handyman. We had a few small jobs, and Kei stopped by the day after to look into what we needed. He purchased the screen door and window we needed replacing and brought with him on the day of install. After our job was complete we mentioned we were looking to paint a few accent walls in the house, and Kei came through with our painting needs as well. Kei is very passionate about his work, timely, and overall an awesome guy. He was upfront and honest with us the entire time. We will be looking to utilize his company again when it's time to install our pergola in the backyard. We would definitely recommend Kei and Sky Hi Services to anyone with requests for upgrades in their home, or handyman needs big or small. read more

I contact Sky HI about some general handyman repairs. Kai was very responsive and set an appointment and came and looked to get me bids for the various jobs I was inquiring about. Then he ghosted me. People - in this technology age we've really got to get better about saying "no thank you" politely. It's OKAY to decline a job or an offer. I hope that he doesn't treat anyone else this way and is able to politely and professionally let others know in the future he's not interested. read more

Even though it this was planned as a first visit, common courtesy and having good customer relations should've prompted you to at least notify a potential customer that you're unable to make it so that way they can move onto another vendor. How would you like it if you schedule a new visit with a new doctor and you took time out of your busy schedule and you show up at the office only to be told they can't see you because the doctor had to go on an emergency? Put yourself in the customer's shoes. read more
