All these Subway type places, I'm from New York! Why in the heck would I go to a chain place when there are delis on every corner? But, I am in another state so lemme see what the hubbub is all about. Capriotti's Sandwiches it seems roasts fresh Butterball Turkeys for their sandwiches. They have a Thanksgiving sandwich that I wanted to order but I said one Turkey Sandwich please. Now I'm asked 5 inch or 12 inches. What?! Your bread length sir. I'll go with small today, thanks. The sandwich comes to me, very plain Jane. Lettuce, Tomatoes and Onions . I go back to the counter, how about some Mayo? Pickles? And also, some of those spicy peppers. There ya go, get excited about my lunch. The inside, it looked like the lunch crowd came and left. It was a little messy on a few tables, I cleaned one down for myself. I do have to say I crafted a bangin sandwich. The turkey was moist, a little heavy on the onion but I think I created a new sandwich called the Bill S New York approved sandwich. The length varies

Balboa Steaks - Chicken Cheesesteak (10/10)…read more I've always said Balboa has my favorite cheesesteaks, but after ordering their chicken cheesesteak for the second time, I'm ready to say something I never thought I'd say... This is the best sandwich I've ever eaten. Seriously. I've had great meatball subs, Reubens, turkey clubs, Italians, cheesesteaks, PB&Js, egg salad--you name it. The only sandwich that's even in the same conversation is Ms. Cindy's Italian from Ioannoni's, and even that is a close second. This chicken cheesesteak is a perfect 10/10. Why? * Flavor: Outstanding. Every bite is packed with flavor. * Seasoning: Perfectly seasoned. Nothing bland, nothing overpowering. * Cheese Ratio: Exactly how it should be. Every bite has cheese without drowning the sandwich. * Bread: Fresh and soft while still holding together from start to finish. * Moisture: This is what separates it from most chicken cheesesteaks. The chicken is incredibly moist and juicy without making the roll soggy. Most places treat a chicken cheesesteak like it's just a cheesesteak with chicken substituted in. Balboa doesn't. It feels like they actually designed the sandwich around the chicken instead of just replacing the beef. I even texted the owner after eating it because it was that good. I told him: "Flavor. Seasoning. Cheese ratio. Bread. Moist and juicy. God damn." That pretty much sums it up. If you've only ever ordered the regular cheesesteak from Balboa, do yourself a favor and try the chicken cheesesteak at least once. It completely changed my opinion of what a chicken cheesesteak can be. Final Rating: 10/10 Best sandwich I've ever had.
