After receiving the vehicle, I discovered that the air-conditioning system was not working. The fan was blowing air, but it was not producing cold air. I immediately tried to contact Michael at the dealership several times to report the problem. I left messages but did not receive a response. When I finally reached him, he told me he would speak with his manager and call me back. He never called me back. Because I needed the vehicle, I took it to a mechanic. I was informed that the A/C system had a leak and required a significant repair. Today, the vehicle was repaired, and I paid $2,000 out of my own pocket to fix the A/C system. Throughout this situation, I continued trying to contact the dealership. I was later told Michael was on vacation, so I asked to speak with his manager, John. I left a voicemail for John and initially received no response. When I finally spoke with him the following day, he told me he would investigate the situation and call me back in approximately one hour. I waited all day, and nobody called me back. What disappoints me most is not only the $2,000 repair bill shortly after receiving the vehicle, but also the lack of communication and follow-through from the dealership. I repeatedly called trying to resolve the situation professionally, and multiple promised callbacks never happened. I purchased this vehicle in good faith and expected the dealership to take my concerns seriously, especially because the A/C problem was discovered immediately after I received the vehicle.
