Seriously, as good as it gets! And then some. I did not realize how much I had been "taken in by"…read moredealerships in the area for car issues. Everything from oil change to brakes. I, too, asked around about where to take my car in order for someone to diagnose the harsh, grinding noise my wheels/tires were making. Every place I phoned wanted to charge me $100+ just for diagnosis. And then a good friend directed me to Frankie D's. BEST DECISION EVER! Not only is the customer service fantastic (which is huge for me, as I am in the industry), but their pricing is honest and cannot be beat. I was called and told what the issue with my vehicle was and what the cost was going to be and ...would I like for them to continue and repair/replace? I mean, this is stuff from my parents' age where the Mechanic calls and tells you what's wrong and what it's going to cost and then asks "would you like for us to go ahead and fix it?" before anything is done to your vehicle. Also, you need to check out their website because they have coupons for paying in cash! That, in and of itself, is huge! And I truly appreciate it! I *highly* recommend Frankie D's for any type of repair your vehicle needs!!!!! They have replaced/repaired my front rotors/pad and today [3/1/2019] they are doing my rear rotors/pads. I know that, in the future, this is exactly where I will be going when my vehicle needs any repair/s. I appreciate their friendliness, honesty and quality work!!!!!!!!! Also, I will have my oil changes done here because I am "over" the high prices of dealership oil changes. Thank YOU, Frankie D's! You have "won" me over!

I used Tim's garage on a recommendation. The first time they were great…read moreI got very good work for a very good price. Second time was to replace an automatic window mechanism which had stopped working. They were $100 more than a different mechanic but I trusted them. Third time involved 3 stages. I was out of town and my pet sitter was instructed to start my car every few days. The car wouldn't start a week into my trip. When I got home I called Tim's. Josh came out, said it was the battery and they charged $50 for the home visit and $80 for the battery. Within a week it would not start. Josh came put with a new battery upgrade and this time it was $50 for the home visit and apparently $100 for the battery. Within a couple of days, car would not start. I had it hauled in to Tim's and the diagnosis was that the inside overhead light was left on. That was $100 for all the running around. I asked for receipts for the 3 interventions and I got the runaround for two weeks from "the cash girl". Next week, next week, next week was the runaround. I never got receipts, and I gave up which sadly I think was their goal. I trusted them and got burned. They might not do this to other people but I would never trust them again. Very sad. I thought the best recourse was to leave a review

The tread looked great so I didn't notice til I was 4hrs away that 3 of the 4 tires I bought were all dry rotted. They sold me death trap tires, I would have been fine buying new if the used were in that condition, I never even got the chance, they just threw on 3 bad tires and sent me on my way....

I'll preface this review with one major takeaway: Jerry can kick rocks!…read more I've been taking my seasonal and custom spec tires here for a few years now, and have never had an issue until today. Today I brought in a set of 205/50-17" tires to be mounted on my 17x7.5" rims. The wheels and tires were both loose and not being installed on my vehicle. Jerry still asked what vehicle they were going on, so I told him, paid my invoice, and waited patiently outside. A half hour later, Jerry came sauntering outside. He opened my vehicle in the parking lot without my consent, despite having no reason to do so since they weren't touching my car. He argued with me and couldn't decide if the tires were anywhere from 0.5"-1.5" shorter than the factory ones, and they wouldn't mount them. According to the manufacturer, the new tires I brought were designed to mount on a 7.5" wheel. Then he started trying to tell me that smaller tires would ruin my transmission-LIE!!! The tires and wheels are going on a FWD car with a manual transmission. When I asked if they were going to mount the tires or not, he instead opted to call his supervisor to ask if they could do it-and then lied to his supervisor on the phone right in front of me! He misrepresented the manufacturer minimum size as 225 width to make it seem like the tires were egregiously undersized. Instead of continuing to argue with Jerry the jerk, I asked for a refund and left. I wouldn't be writing this review if it weren't for his rudeness. Pretty unfortunate, considering the techs actually doing the work in the garages were awesome-enough so that I'd have been writing a stellar review had this gone differently. I've ran custom sized wheels and tires on dozens of vehicles over the last twenty years. Street cars, daily drivers, autocross and track cars and even a drift missile. I thought I had found a shop that would work with custom setups, but I guess I was wrong. Where can I take my custom sizes to, and where can I refer all of my car enthusiast friends and fellow racers? This situation could have been handled so much better!
