But, none of my debit cards worked. How embarrassing! The man that had greeted me said, it's ok. I had $100 on me. But not the remaining $70. He said, give me some sort of ID or something and return later with the rest. I had found out later that my accounts had been drained and over drafted more that 2k. Identity theft is real people! Nearly a month later (as a retired Vet I only get paid once a month) I went back to settle my balance. When I walked in, the same man was there. He handed my Military ID back to me and said, don't worry about the $70. He said, the owner had come in just after you left. He told me the owner would forgive the $70. Because of my Military Service. Wow Many businesses have Military Discounts and I appreciate that. But this act of kindness took my breath away. His generosity helped me more than he knew. My heart is still banging. Thank you! I will remain a loyal customer for life. Obviously, I recommend this location.

Then later it came on and stayed on. I pulled over (at 1:am and 7 miles from home) and let the oil settle before I checked the dip stick. When I did, there was barely a drop on the end of it. I looked under the car and there was a puddle of oil. Had it towed to Walmart and the next day I walked there to have them look at it. When they did, they said the oil filter came off in only HALF of a turn. It was never tightened down. They ran new oil through and metal shavings came out. I drove to another valvoline to get a second opinion before I took it to ford and the guy literally said "yeah, whoever did it last must've broke it". I said "well the valvoline on E Kalamazoo did it last?" and he said I should call and make a damage claim. I now get to pay around $500 dollars to fix THEIR mistake from messing up my hood. I called damage claim and she couldn't find me anywhere in their system (even looking up my VIN number) so I had to go back to get proof they worked on my car. This is a huge expensive mess and I would never recommend going here.

Prices are reasonable, staff are helpful and polite and they seem to actually care about the customer's satisfaction. Today I brought in a set of 205/50-17" tires to be mounted on my 17x7.5" rims. The wheels and tires were both loose and not being installed on my vehicle. Jerry still asked what vehicle they were going on, so I told him, paid my invoice, and waited patiently outside. A half hour later, Jerry came sauntering outside. He opened my vehicle in the parking lot without my consent, despite having no reason to do so since they weren't touching my car. He argued with me and couldn't decide if the tires were anywhere from 0.5"-1.5" shorter than the factory ones, and they wouldn't mount them. According to the manufacturer, the new tires I brought were designed to mount on a 7.5" wheel. Then he started trying to tell me that smaller tires would ruin my transmission-LIE!!! The tires and wheels are going on a FWD car with a manual transmission. When I asked if they were going to mount the tires or not, he instead opted to call his supervisor to ask if they could do it-and then lied to his supervisor on the phone right in front of me! He misrepresented the manufacturer minimum size as 225 width to make it seem like the tires were egregiously undersized. Instead of continuing to argue with Jerry the jerk, I asked for a refund and left. I wouldn't be writing this review if it weren't for his rudeness. Pretty unfortunate, considering the techs actually doing the work in the garages were awesome-enough so that I'd have been writing a stellar review had this gone differently. I've ran custom sized wheels and tires on dozens of vehicles over the last twenty years. Street cars, daily drivers, autocross and track cars and even a drift missile. I thought I had found a shop that would work with custom setups, but I guess I was wrong. Where can I take my custom sizes to, and where can I refer all of my car enthusiast friends and fellow racers? This situation could have been handled so much better!

I like this place. I grew up in a rural back ground and things were not so polished there. This is a simple shop that will give you either a new or used tire for a fair price. The men are hard working (you're not going to see a female there as a worker; they can get hired at "fancier" places and I don't blame them). I support this place. It gives a fair dead, supports hardworking men, and they do good work.
