However, my recent experience with a larger repair was disappointing. I paid for a starter replacement, and within a short time the car began acting up again. It turned out a second starter had to be installed, and no thanks to this flimsy starter my flywheel was damaged. When I called to ask about getting it looked at in June I was told nothing was available for about two months so I found another mechanic who told me the starter was flimsy and the crank shaft part also was not worth the money I paid for it. I suggest you use OEM parts over aftermarket/third-party parts for repairs like this, which made me reconsider how the parts here were sourced. I am grateful to find a new mechanic and they caught these issues before I ended up paying $$$$ for new engine or fly wheel or both!
