I called Keoni looking for someone to flush my engine from oil sludge as the Maui Hyundai dealership has been lying about their services provided. I have a new 2021 Hyundai Tuscon that is still under warranty, I was told since I never got my oil changed they couldn't address the oil sludge in my engine and wanted to charge me $750. Turns out they haven't been documenting my service visits and changes and Keoni found they never did any of the services that they said they did! It's crazy and crooked! Keoni was able to get my car back and running within a few hours and only charged me $370 which is way lower than the dealership. Absolutely amazing!! My 2012 fiat 500 is a total pita to work on (it's small) and it had a busted starter. My partner attempted a fix but unfortunately dropped a bolt in the transmission. I want to share my experience with Keoni, we have a 2014 Nissan frontier over 100 thousand miles, kept misfiring we reached out to him being we read the reviews and of course wanted to support local. He met us in Lahaina and replaced what he said the issue was a coil, $350 dollars later and we still running in to the same issue we called him again he met us in Wailuku said nothing was coming up on his diagnostic machine and that it it might be another coil issue but we could drive it $50 he charged us again we still experiencing the same issue, we call him again he comes to our apartment and hooks up his diagnostic machine at this point he tells us he can change the spark plugs which now runs us $500 which I pay upfront, he tells us its complete and my husband runs it and still same engine misfire issue we then reach out and he tells us he will come back, we trust his word and leave our keys for him to fix the truck. No communication after that I text him the next day to see if he fixed the issue he tells me he replaced cylinder 2 blah blah blah my husband test drives it same issue. I keep texting him and he never responds at this point we find another mechanic who tells us cylinder 2 shows up on his diagnostic machine which makes me think Keoni lied and was giving us the run around. He gives me no receipts of parts or labor cost. I'm just posting this so that no one else experiences this shit. We asked for at least half of what we paid him and no response. I would never recommend anyone to use his service, being a local I just assumed a local business would have our best interest at heart. read more
