I was need my car to tow to dealership and the dealership contact Westside Tow, after waiting for around 2 hours the dealership call me and start checking up about the did the tow truck arrived. and when I look outside nobody is there and the car still in the parking so my answer is I didn't see anyone outside. and a quick minuses later I see the tow truck pull in. the truck driver is super Friendly and we have a good talk about how to get the car into the tow truck. These folks really came through in a big way. My partners motorcycle wouldn't run and was stuck in Kihei. It was getting late and almost all the other tow truck companies wouldn't come out to get it and take it back to our home. The guys who work at Westside Tow were kind, quick, efficient, and got my partners motorcycle home safely. Driving on the road to Hana and we got a flat tire. We had just made it to Hana. Our rental had a tire repair kit that only gave us a couple miles. Alan ( the owner) drove the couple hours out to tow us back to the rental company (another couple hours). I called earlier and lady said "The driver has to drop off one car and he'll come tow your motorcycle when he's done" ok so I wait 2hours and call again and a guy answered and says "so you want a jump start?" No I need a tow! He says his paper says I need a jump start yelling at me, I said no! He says stop yelling, I'm on the side of the highway cars passing by and I'm waiting over 2 hrs! He hangs up! On October 19, 2022, I had a tire blowout on my way to a Dr's appointment in Kahului. I was just beyond Olowalu, before Maalaea. I am a disabled senior citizen, with a heart problem. I called Westside Towing and the dispatcher said she'd send someone out to put my spare tire on. The wrecker driver got there and switched out qthe tires. When he got the spare put on, it looked very low. I asked him if could air the tire up and he said he didn't have any air but that the tire would be fine, either to Maalaea or back to Lahaina. I asked him, "Are you sure?" three more times before he took off and he assured me it would be fine. I had already canceled my Dr's appointment, but had an errand to run in Wailuku so I thought I'd go to Maalaea, get air & go on to Wailuku, however, there was a lot of traffic and to get across the road would have taken forever. I decided to go back to Lahaina, get air and then go to Wailuku. By the time I got to the 76 Station, in Lahaina, the tire was shredded! There is no way I would have made it to Maalaea...I would have had a blowout on the Pali, probably caused an accident and more than likely gotten killed! The wrecker driver should have said, "There's no way this tire will make it anywhere. Let me tow you into Lahaina to air it up. It is not safe." I would have gladly said yes and paid the difference. Instead he took off as fast as he could. I had to flag him down because he let my CRV down off the jack so hard that it jarred my battery and the car wouldn't even start. He jumped it off and took off like the wind! I called Westside Towing the next day and left a message for the owner, Allen.  He never called back. The next day, I called again and spoke to the dispatcher who sent the driver out. She had a big attitude and was very rude. She then asked me to hold on, hung up on me and would not answer when I called back several times. I paid this company $78.15 and tipped the driver $10, my life was put in danger and was treated like THIS!!! CALL ANY OTHER TOWING COMPANY, BUT DON'T CALL INCOMPETENT WESTSIDE TOWING! You'd be better off to sit on the side of the road & call a cab than to call these people. Because of the negligent wrecker driver, I had to pay $140 for a new tire, when my spare was in good shape, when I got back to Lahaina. read more

Never have i been in an emergency lockout situation but today my daughter locked my keys in my truck. Were a good honest family, 3 kids and a pregnant wife, everyone was wet,cold and thirsty, drinks in the truck and suns going down and no way to get home or get in our vehicle..I called west side towing and I made payment arrangements for when i get paid in a couple days and they sent someone out unlike the other companies. within 20 min trucks unlocked kids warming up and headed home blessed...MAHALO WEST SIDE TOWING!! Gave me a quote for a basic tow but wanted me to call and remind him about service the day of. Hung up on me and didn't call back or answer his phone to confirm. Don't recommend this company at all. We got to the grocery store with our 2 under 2 to find we had a flat tire. It was pouring rain. There was a donut, but not all of the tools we needed to change the flat. I called our roadside assistance and, after 45 mins, learned they would have someone to us in 2.5 hours. I called Westside Tow and was told they would send a driver within 30 minutes to assist. Shane arrived even sooner than that, put on the donut, and noted it was too low to drive. He took our spare and our tire with him, inflated the spare, and fixed our flat with a patch. He was back very quickly, installed the tire and we were back on the road within the hour. He was wonderful! I highly recommend Westside tow. Called to get a quote on a disposal of an old vehicle. Spoke with supposedly owner of the business, Allen. Very fast spoken and unprofessional man but got a quote and the process that it would take. I said I would figure out the situation on my end(I go back and forth to the mainland) and call him when I could set a time and date to get it done, he agreed. I called back a day later, spoke to Allen again to set up a time and date. We set the date for a week out since I would be on Maui for a few days to take care of these things. He asked me to call him a day before to remind him. Though that was very strange since it's his business shouldn't you be writing these important dates down? I was happy to just get things in motion. A week later I called, as asked and got no answer so I left a message. Didn't hear anything back. Called the day of, nothing. No call no show no nothing! Thankfully ADP Towing saved the day. Till today I still have heard nothing from that fast talking owner and the very reason I am writing this review. Very unprofessional business practice. I spoke with them a few times over the phone. I told them I needed a truck towed that's on private property. The county is the one who actually recommended them so I gave them a call. The person I spoke with said it'll be $238 to tow the truck, I said that's fine. I called them to remind them to pick up the truck and they didn't make it because they were running behind. Fine. But when they came to get the truck the next day, they charged an extra $100 because they said they thought we went through the county when I SPECIFICALLY told them over and over that they only recommended us, we weren't going through them. Please verify and record your conversation with this company because they don't know what they're doing 100%. read more

You definitely know who is accurate in their advertising of 24/7 service when you get a flat tire at 3am on a Sunday morning. I was on my way to work and my front tire blew out near Puamana on the highway. I have roadside assistance, so let them know where I was. The representative told me the ONLY company who returned their call was Westside Tow and they were on their way. Not only did Alan take me home, (Honokowai) he also arranged for PJ to tow my car to Unocal 76 when we discovered there was no spare. MB called them up to tow our cars to the service center and they were so quick to respond. They called within 15 minutes to tell us that their drivers are on their way. Conner was so courteous and helped jump start the car and quickly did the paper work and i was on my way.
