I would not recommend this towing company (DSP Towing). Use any other towing company.

Dane was nice enough to take the time out and tell me what I needed to get done with the DMV in order to junk the car.

Kindness, Speed, and Aloha from Kitakawa Towing…read more When I called AAA for help with a flat tire, I was told a tow truck would arrive at 7 am. Instead, I received a call from Darlene at Kitakawa Towing -- the business was just opening, and no truck was on the way yet. Disappointing, since I had been waiting for hours. But Darlene quickly rallied and sent help within the hour. Kevin, the tow truck driver, was incredibly kind, helpful, and reassuring. The best option turned out to be driving my car to a nearby shop to fix the tire -- and Kevin generously offered to follow me there to ensure I arrived safely. He would have loaded my car if needed, without hesitation. Having a flat tire is never a good day, but Darlene and Kevin turned it around with genuine care and top-notch service. Mahalo, Kitakawa Towing -- you truly embody the spirit of aloha.

I got a screw in my tire on the rental. Yes, it sucks but was only leaking at 8psi/day. Well, today…read morethe screw came out after I parked. Rental company contacted Kitagawa, good to go. Dude was a D I C K H E A D. Super condescending. I run a huge construction operation, have full time mechanics, I could have EASILY changed the spare but my wife paid extra for roadside, so I used while we are at breakfast. Dude was such a B I T C H , and I'm sorry you couldn't sleep all day but after a couple small questions he told me to watch under the tree (across the street). If this short, fat, little man doesn't want to be in the SERVICE industry...he should quit. This chode parked the front tires on his flatbed to avoid cranking on a jack, didnt plug the original tire (even though he said "i am a towtruck driver" when I asked if he was going to plug it.). Told me i should have taken it back to the rental when I knew of the issue (like I wanted to drive 2 hours round-trip for this bs). This guy was just the biggest d o u c h e ive met on my trip. F u c k this fat little f a g g o t , mahalo p u. T. O !

Beach Country Towing - He locked the gate as I walked up. Treating people like they are criminals to force you to pay money. They know they are wrong.

These guys really did me a solid, and they had great energy while doing it…read more I was locked out of a RUNNING vehicle by the side of Hana Highway at 10PM one night. The first tow company wanted $250 (ramping it up because it was night time), the second $175, and then I got ahold of these guys. I let them know my financial situation. He offered to get me into my car for $100. He came immediately, with his son, and they got the car open, were super friendly and pono, and saved my butt. My phone was dead, and I needed to transfer money to pay them. He followed me to the gas station 15 minutes away so I could transfer money and pay him. The entire time he was friendly and easy to work with. What else do I need to say? It is a local father-son business, so you get the added satisfaction of supporting them. UPDATE This is an update several months later. I ended up in an extreme situation with a broken ball joint in Hana. Those who know the island know what I mean by extreme situation. Beach Country did me another solid, towing me for $500 when the other companies wanted $900 MINIMUM It was a dangerous road in the middle of the night and they got out of the car at one point to clear a tree from the road and eventually get me to safety at three AM They have the right lift for the job (in this situation it would be very possible for the car to get further damage, and one company wanted me to sign a waiver form so if they destroyed my vehicle they wouldn't be liable!!!) and when I needed a second tow to get it to the right shop, and Geico was back and forth with different companies with various miscommunications, I went ahead and said "look, call Beach Country Towing they have the right lift and they will do it right" and that is exactly what happened So this review is for three separate jobs, all handled superbly, and I ask that you adjust their score in your mind accordingly because I can't leave multiple reviews

This company towed our rental car from Maalaea Harbor today. We went on a diving tour this morning…read moreand when we got back our rental car was gone. There was absolutely no sign to tell us we need to pay to park there. (See picture below) we called a number on a sign above the area and got Beach County Towing. The man texted us an invoice and an address to go get our rental car. $180. We drove about 18 miles round trip to argue with a man about no signs posted. It seemed very shady and sketchy. I feel like if it was legit there would be a ticket from a cop. The man was unwilling to work with us at all on the cost for towing. This business seemed scary and out in the middle of nowhere. Very sketchy! Beware people!
