Don't go ahead with telling these guys damage my car backed up into a ramp that was in my yard and now they're claiming that I moved the ramp intentionally leaving it behind their truck while they were backing up my car, which is not true. These guys are liars and they're doing everything they can to get out of repairing my car. They [[HIGHLIGHT]]also claimed that because there was small scratches underneath my bumper that they were not gonna cover my damage, the boss was yelling at his employee over the phone, belittling him, and it was completely unprofessional. Vehicle drama sucks and mama-to-be just went through this yet again with her old and well loved 18 year old truck. I called AAA early this morning to request for a tow to Walmart to get my tires changed out and the estimated time of pick up was well after 7am even though i requested for it to be picked up before then. I called at 630am and asked if it were possible and the owner Peter was so nice and explained that they dont technicially open until 7am but he would try to expedite it and get whoever was ready first to come and pick up my truck. Mark Silva was my tow truck driver and he was just the sweetest, kindest man. It was just like talking to my own ohana. He is very knowledgeable about vehicles and after we got to Walmart, he wished me well and i asked if i could give him a hug for his help. He made this crappy situation much better just by being so kind and understanding. I know he was just doing his job but i really appreciated it. While I was not in charge of the booking, Denise called me to let me know what time her team was gonna be doing the delivery and let me know that they would give me a call when they were on their way so we could coordinate the timing. Justin and Robert were so accommodating and since my partner and I were running a wee bit behind, they even waiting for us to get to the location so we could get a head start on getting our wish family all ready for the surprise!! Peter will leave you on the side of the road stranded at 2am as apposed to finding a way to help you and your family. If you find yourself in a ditch, do not call Peter at 808 towing. He seems to be all about the cash as he mentioned the cost of pulling our car out several times to which I said no problem to which he then said no it isn't worth it or he is not gonna "buy in" to the idea. He then told me that the car was un-drivable and a total loss. What?! Zero compassion, zero optimism. All of the other guys who work there are solid (Ive worked with them) but the boss need customer service training ASAP. Just read the other reviews and see for yourself. Peter of 808 Towing saved our butts when we locked the keys in the trunk after a 12 mile hike at Haleakala (the smart key was not so smart after all). The park ranger was unable to break into the car (she said this was a first for her) and despite that fact that it was getting cold and dark, the best she could do for us was leave us blankets. The rental car company kept putting us on indefinite until our phones were dead. We had to borrow a phone from a stranger to call AAA, who told us it would be 2-3 hours due to our location in the national park. We couldn't wait outside for 2-3 hours without freezing but they said we had to be by the car when they arrived, and due to COVID restrictions, the tow truck couldn't pick us up somewhere else. Luckily Peter, who was off duty, heard the call and was close by (picking up his son) and came to help us out. He arrived in closer to thirty minutes and managed to get the hard to open doors open within minutes without causing any damage to the car (this was a Lincoln Continental with push buttons to open the door - hence why the park ranger had no luck after about an hour of trying and causing minor damage to the car in the process). Peter was SUPER kind, friendly and helpful, and his son sat patiently in the passenger seat as his dad helped us out. Peter apologized profusely for not being able to pick us up but that it was due to COVID regulations. We were floored by the kindness and so happy to have the last day of our vacation saved. read more

It was later in the evening around 9pm, had broken car on the side of the road, needed towing, I have AAA roadside assistance, called them - and in about an hr after the call, Peter arrived... I had no idea he is the owner, so, to me at the time - he was just a random towtruck driver towing my car home... Called AAA to get my car towed after about 11/2 hours a guy showed up and told us it needed a flat bed 30 0r 40 minutes some one called and said a flatbed was not covered under AAA and would not take my car to our condo complex and it had to go to the dealer and wanted $240.00 extra!
