Over the last year I've been to at least half a dozen shooting ranges and Appalachian Gun and Pawn…read morerange is by far the best. They have 5 pistol ranges (up to 25 yards) and 5 rifle ranges (up to 50 yards). Both inside and next to each other if you want to bring both. All ranges have state of the art computer driven touch pads that give you just about and condition you want to practice in. Very well maintained with plenty of lighting all the way down the range. It makes your visit much more enjoyable when the staff is friendly and helpful. Not to mention all the customers are willing to talk with you and share helpful tips. Also they have multiple target variations all are extremely reasonable. So after all this, the thing I like most is they are extremely safety conscious, as am I and the guys I shoot with. No goofing off, no breaking any safety rules or you will be immediately escorted out! They have plenty of cameras to ensure all are safe. We try and go about every other week when we're all in town. Always a safe fun experience. Now if I can just get rid of this low and to the left of the target problem I have, all will be good. Lol.

When the cashier was asked when the ammo might come in, all I got was a shrug and "I don't know". The workers seemed to be more concerned about gossiping about their morning than providing information. Also, I do not believe I received my cash discount that used to be available all the time. Since this company has been bought out or taken over by GLOCK it seems as though it is just another typical corporate business. I do not get the small town welcoming feeling when I walk in the door. By the way, they were late opening the gate this morning as well. I now have doubts about buying my ammo from this store any longer, and I hear the same from many of my friends and family members.

I bought a 12ga shotgun from this business about 2 months ago, Luther showed me how to change out…read morethe stock because it wasn't what I really wanted. After doing so a couple days later, I realized the gun had some cycling issues, so I brought it back to Luther, who said he'd send it to his gunsmith. I called/ stopped by trying to get an update on the progress of my gun at least twice a week for well over a month and a half. Always getting the same answer, "I'm waiting on Randy to call me back". So finally, I asked for Randy's info to see if I'd have better luck. When i contacted Randy, he knew nothing about my gun, but Said "Luther would give me Call". I waited for that call for the rest of the day. The very next day, I decided to stop by since I still hadn't recieved a call from Luther. At the store the next day, there was one customer being helped when I walked in. So I patiently waited for a good amount of time. While waiting, several other customers came in and were shown guns and given convo; meanwhile he's still too busy to talk to me. Only after interrupting him from doing the paperwork, (even though he didn't mind stopping that to show guns to the other customers) did he go to the back, bring my gun out, telling me that Randy had over looked it this entire time! And he just so happened to go by and pick it up yesterday, and instead of having Randy fix it. He just brought it back to the shop not repaired. Im nowhere near slow, he just never sent my gun off to be fixed, he just lied to me for 6/7 weeks about doing so.
