Stopped at ShadowRock for lunch. Jackie was our server and was kind and professional. Tiffany also stopped by and was very nice as well. The ambiance was peaceful and the three big screens were also quite nice. I had a Prickly Pear Margarita and my wife chose water. We both ordered the tomato bisque soup and half sandwich, one with fries and the other a salad. My wife talked with Jackie about the soup as she could not eat it as it did taste like a jar of marinara sauce and wasn't a true bisque. Not good. I choked mine down as I was hungry. My wife sent her soup back and Jackie was gracious and removed her meal from the check. The half a sandwich was more like 1/3 and not anything to write home about either. I am giving three stars simply due to the kind and efficient service but the food was below average. The drink was ok and I would suggest that management take a look at the quality of food coming out of the kitchen at such a nice Hilton resort. Jackie and Tiffany both apologized and in no way is the quality of food coming out of the kitchen their fault if it is below customer's expectations. As a Yelp Elite and local Google Guide foodie the food we recieved seemed like heat and serve type products with little to no chef participation. Needs work from my perspective!

This is the restaurant at the Hilton Resort at Bell Rock and it's fine. It's a little pricey for what you get, but that's typical for hotel restaurants. Service was friendly but a little slow. My smoked old fashioned cocktail was good. They had some chicken wings (I think they were called lollipops) that were really tasty but the rest of the food- a salad and shrimp cocktail- were just okay and should have been a notch better at that price point. It's a convenient place if you're staying at the resort. It was cold and rainy when we ate there so we didn't sit outside but they do have a cool outside seating area. Overall, I decent place.

(Dined 05/20/25 TU @ 5:00pm): No shadows here while I rocked the bar stool next to the draft taps! After I checked in at Hilton Sedona Resort At Bell Rock, dropped my stuff off in the room, I went down to ShadowRock Tap + Table and took advantage of their Happy Hour (4pm-6pm daily - $1-$2-off drafts) before it ended. I always loved to try the onsite bar/restaurant especially whenever I stayed at a Hilton-brand hotel. Plus, I was tired after the nearly two-hour drive from Phoenix and hadn't eaten anything except for the snacks on my flight and the granola bars I always had in my backpack. Would their taps of beer and the bar table rock my world or cast a shadow on their offerings!? PURCHASE Mother Road Brewing Co. PARKING (Varied; FREE this instance) I was granted complimentary parking based on my Honors status. Otherwise, there was plenty of parking on their sprawling private lot - 'nuff said. ATMOSPHERE, DÉCOR, AMBIENCE A large four-sided modern-looking bar, I ventured no further than this. However, there were a ton of booths and tables in the actual dining area. Minimal items were hung on the walls for a very clean feel. Plenty of natural lighting came through the large glass doors and windows while electric track ceiling lights filled in the rest. There were several TVs at the bar while a live performer played music on the patio. https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw&select=2U4nAl-PmvhFx0iRIzUs3w ATTIRE Totally casual, so I would normally be in a t-shirt, boardshorts, and flip-flops. OVERALL I had a wonderful time as I decompressed and relaxed after my day of travel as I settled into ShadowRock Tap + Table. As expected, the prices were elevated, but I was generally pleased with everything. The menu selection was decent, and you couldn't beat the atmosphere. Lastly, everyone I came in contact with was the best! I found very good value based on the prices, service, and experience noted above (TOTAL paid experience was around $92.00 BEFORE any discounts, points usage, and/or tip). And, they accepted my credit card of choice... AMEX! 4.0 STARS

Menu

Dry tasteless burger and cold fries. Not impressed. Better to go out of the hotel and try other local places.

Your basic breakfast
Jim R.

Started our day with breakfast. With it being a restaurant within the Hilton hotel, our expectations were low. Let's start with what we liked: * Greeted immediately and offered seating inside and out. Was a little cooler (78) so we opted for the outside. * Upon being seated, quick response to coffee and drinks. * Wife got the basic eggs, bacon, hash browns and toast. Eggs were cooked right and the hash browns were crisp, hot and lightly seasoned. * Ingot the Dirty Potatoes. Let me tell you, these were delicious. Moist pulled pork with crisp hash browns covered in Queso and a slightly zingy verde sauce. I could eat this all day. * Quiet breakfast meal on the patio. What could have been better. * it's a hotel resort so a little pricey- but expected that. Overall we were impressed with the breakfast. The bad part is Sat and Sunday it appears they only do a buffet.

Ahi poke
Marilyn B.

We ate here a few times during our stay at the Hilton Sedona at Bell Rock. I agree with others' reviews that it is hit or miss. The breakfast during the week is menu based, and you can choose from options like avocado toast, oatmeal, waffles, and dirty potatoes. During the weekend it is buffet style with a few separate items that can be ordered. We tried the avocado toast, sedona breakfast bowl, and the dirty potatoes. All were enjoyed and my favorite was the pork carnitas with the crispy potatoes covered in queso Blanco. The salsa Verde was a bit too spicy for me. We also ate some apps for dinner. The ahi poke was delicious but again it was surrounded by the spicy salsa Verde. I guess when you come to the southwest, you should expect a little heat. We also tried the cheezy tomato bisque which comes with a basic grilled cheese. The soup was alright and there was nothing special about the grilled cheese. All in all, it's a great option if you're staying on site and don't want to venture out for food.

Had the fish tacos and 50/50 Caesar salad. Both were really good. A little pricey but nice relaxing patio.

We are checking in prob around 10PM Saturday May 5th. While the main restaurant will be closed when we check in they do say they offer a "bar menu" till 11pm. Can anyone give me an idea about how extensive the bar menu is?

I would just call and ask as it's not clear from the website menus.

Service, food & atmosphere was amazing!Seriously best restaurant in Sedona! We got swordfish sandwiches, bison burger & blackened swordfish. For dessert we got bread pudding and chocolate cake. First class service all the way, our waitress was very attentive and awesome! You have to eat here, seriously best restaurant in Sedona! Yes,said that twice, because it is that good!

Stopped in here for dinner this evening. Our reservation was booked last minute and the only time…read moreslot left available was 8:30 - totally fine, no worries there. We arrived about 15 minutes early and were told our table wasn't ready, so we sat at the bar for a drink while we waited. The drinks were good, but very expensive to order a mixed cocktail. Again, we're on vacation, so no cause for complaint. Our table was ready fairly quickly, and we ordered appetizers immediately. The whipped feta app is delicious, and the smoked salmon burrata is a must! I must credit our server, Kayla. As she was explaining the entree menu, she placed our app order in the meantime and they came out to the table in less than 5 minutes. Service was incredibly fast. Our main entrees came out very quick as well. My mom ordered the half rack of ribs, which is really like a full rack- FYI, and said they were just okay. She loved the French fries and the coleslaw. I had the baked stuffed shrimp. It was pretty good, just too much sauce for me personally. I would've loved to have been able to taste the crab stuffed shrimp better with lighter / lesser amount of sauce, but the pesto fettuccine which came alongside was phenomenal. My dad ordered the salmon, which he said was really good. My parents and I both rated this restaurant A- / B+. We in a fairly good meal experience, however, because our reservation began at 8:30, and they close at 9, you could tell they were trying to push us out. No one offered us a dessert menu, and you could tell they were itching to clear off all the tables and clear out all the guests. Overall, not a bad place to stop, just book your dinner reservation early!

I was seated outside next to a delightful courtyard in shade with soft, warm breezes. I had the Prix Fixe menu, selecting Chilean Sea Bass as my entree. The meal actually begins with 3 slices of multigrain bread and 3 sectioned tray - olive tapanade, pesto and garlic-flavored olive oil. I really enjoyed the rich-tasting bread and the tapanade. The first course was the lobster bisque. This is not only a refined and tasty soup but there are many chunks of lobster meat (whoa). The bisque also has a slightly sweet and rich taste. The main course was Chilean Sea Bass. The well-grilled fish was placed on yummy garlic mashed potatoes. Also, gracing the plate were fresh green beans and a tasty choice of delectable dipping sauces for the fish. The final (dessert) course was Triple Cream Brie Cheesecake. This round cake was topped with a vanilla cream top - a rich and properly-sweetened end of the lunch. I highly recommend dining at Rene at Tlaquepaque.

We sat outside on the patio, absolutely beautiful weather and the tables are gently shaded by beautiful Brazilian Pepper trees. My only issue, I had bits of the tree in my hair, my water, my drink and my dinner. Our waiter Joshua was fantastic, a warm, gracious pro. PERFECT!! We started with the bone marrow appetizer. Maybe the best I've had at a restaurant. Came topped with a piping of mashed potatoes and bread crumbs. Perfectly cooked and served with toasted brioche bread, smoked sea salt and a bacon marmalade. It was delicious and huge. My only thoughts on making it perfect...Go ahead and salt your marrow in the kitchen and add another slice of toast. You are serving two big marrow bones, so don't be stingy with a piece of toast. All that said, this app was highlight of dinner. My daughter opted for another appetizer as her entree. She had the Spanish style garlic chili shrimp in butter. Looked huge and she said it was over the top fabulous. (I'm allergic to shellfish so I just took her word) She added some duck fat fries which were fine, but not great. I had the mushroom strudel and it was okay but frankly pretty underwhelming. Think it had been pre-made, filling was blah, flakey pastry was not, and highlight was a plucky little pepper sauce that was delicious but didn't really go with the main dish. It screamed for a nice cream sauce, and some butter in the filling. I love mushrooms as a main and this poor little pastry looked and tasted like a hot pocket. Now back to the positives. The dark chocolate soufflé with homemade crème anglaise is lovely and well worth it . My daughter also loved the prickly pear margaritas. All in all, really nice experience and meal. The kitchen obviously functions well and service is perfect. A few tweaks on the menu and this place is stellar. Even now, a Great special occasion restaurant and the location and lovely service made it special for us.
