Prickly pear margarita
Gregory B.

Couple of irritating things cost this place a couple stars on my review. First, there's massive amount of road construction around the resort. Hard to tell where exactly the restaurant was, and the valet was less than helpful. Second, we had request the "igloo dining experience". Basically dining out in a little lighted "igloo" on the lawn. When we got there, were told it was too hot to seat people in there, so we were given seating at a fire pit. There was no room around the fire pit for your knees, so we had to eat sitting sideways. And others were being seated in the igloos, so not sure what that was all about. The food and service were 4-star. Prickly Pear Margarita and Maple Manhattan were good craft cocktails, although not on the happy hour menu, so expensive. Ordered a glass of Pinot Noir off wine list for my dinner. Server came back and said "we haven't had that wine for a while", begging the question why wasn't the wine list updated. No alternative was recommended. The appetizers were good, avocado queso and chicken lollipop wings. For our entrees, I started with the butternut squash bisque and then the braised short rib. My dining partner had the roast chicken. For dessert, we shared the churros. Pleasant evening with good/not great food, decent atmosphere (some live music going on), good service. Bonus star for the pet menu items ... red "whine", a beef broth, and pet chicken. We all walked away feeling pretty good.

This is the restaurant at the Hilton Resort at Bell Rock and it's fine. It's a little pricey for what you get, but that's typical for hotel restaurants. Service was friendly but a little slow. My smoked old fashioned cocktail was good. They had some chicken wings (I think they were called lollipops) that were really tasty but the rest of the food- a salad and shrimp cocktail- were just okay and should have been a notch better at that price point. It's a convenient place if you're staying at the resort. It was cold and rainy when we ate there so we didn't sit outside but they do have a cool outside seating area. Overall, I decent place.

Stopped at ShadowRock for lunch. Jackie was our server and was kind and professional. Tiffany also stopped by and was very nice as well. The ambiance was peaceful and the three big screens were also quite nice. I had a Prickly Pear Margarita and my wife chose water. We both ordered the tomato bisque soup and half sandwich, one with fries and the other a salad. My wife talked with Jackie about the soup as she could not eat it as it did taste like a jar of marinara sauce and wasn't a true bisque. Not good. I choked mine down as I was hungry. My wife sent her soup back and Jackie was gracious and removed her meal from the check. The half a sandwich was more like 1/3 and not anything to write home about either. I am giving three stars simply due to the kind and efficient service but the food was below average. The drink was ok and I would suggest that management take a look at the quality of food coming out of the kitchen at such a nice Hilton resort. Jackie and Tiffany both apologized and in no way is the quality of food coming out of the kitchen their fault if it is below customer's expectations. As a Yelp Elite and local Google Guide foodie the food we recieved seemed like heat and serve type products with little to no chef participation. Needs work from my perspective!

(Dined 05/20/25 TU @ 5:00pm): No shadows here while I rocked the bar stool next to the draft taps! After I checked in at Hilton Sedona Resort At Bell Rock, dropped my stuff off in the room, I went down to ShadowRock Tap + Table and took advantage of their Happy Hour (4pm-6pm daily - $1-$2-off drafts) before it ended. I always loved to try the onsite bar/restaurant especially whenever I stayed at a Hilton-brand hotel. Plus, I was tired after the nearly two-hour drive from Phoenix and hadn't eaten anything except for the snacks on my flight and the granola bars I always had in my backpack. Would their taps of beer and the bar table rock my world or cast a shadow on their offerings!? PURCHASE Mother Road Brewing Co. The chubby spud sticks were steaming hot, flavorful, and needed no dipping sauce. PARKING (Varied; FREE this instance) I was granted complimentary parking based on my Honors status. Otherwise, there was plenty of parking on their sprawling private lot - 'nuff said. ATMOSPHERE, DÉCOR, AMBIENCE A large four-sided modern-looking bar, I ventured no further than this. However, there were a ton of booths and tables in the actual dining area. Minimal items were hung on the walls for a very clean feel. Plenty of natural lighting came through the large glass doors and windows while electric track ceiling lights filled in the rest. There were several TVs at the bar while a live performer played music on the patio. https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw&select=2U4nAl-PmvhFx0iRIzUs3w ATTIRE Totally casual, so I would normally be in a t-shirt, boardshorts, and flip-flops. OVERALL I had a wonderful time as I decompressed and relaxed after my day of travel as I settled into ShadowRock Tap + Table. As expected, the prices were elevated, but I was generally pleased with everything. The menu selection was decent, and you couldn't beat the atmosphere. Lastly, everyone I came in contact with was the best! I found very good value based on the prices, service, and experience noted above (TOTAL paid experience was around $92.00 BEFORE any discounts, points usage, and/or tip). And, they accepted my credit card of choice... AMEX! 4.0 STARS

A refreshing signature Sedona prickly pear margarita, delightfully tangy and balanced, beside it a glass of prosecco.

My bartender was AJ, he was perfectly pleasant and welcoming, he made a delicious prickly pear margarita and we even shared a few jokes. Thank you to the amazing staff at Bell Rock Sedona and especially a thank you to the wonderful front desk lady Mallory, she was extremely helpful upon check. Thank you again for all your hospitality.

Your basic breakfast
Jim R.

Started our day with breakfast. With it being a restaurant within the Hilton hotel, our expectations were low. Let's start with what we liked: * Greeted immediately and offered seating inside and out. Was a little cooler (78) so we opted for the outside. * Upon being seated, quick response to coffee and drinks. * Wife got the basic eggs, bacon, hash browns and toast. Eggs were cooked right and the hash browns were crisp, hot and lightly seasoned. * Ingot the Dirty Potatoes. Let me tell you, these were delicious. Moist pulled pork with crisp hash browns covered in Queso and a slightly zingy verde sauce. I could eat this all day. * Quiet breakfast meal on the patio. What could have been better. * it's a hotel resort so a little pricey- but expected that. Overall we were impressed with the breakfast. The bad part is Sat and Sunday it appears they only do a buffet.

Menu

Dry tasteless burger and cold fries. Not impressed. Better to go out of the hotel and try other local places.

Ahi poke
Marilyn B.

We ate here a few times during our stay at the Hilton Sedona at Bell Rock. I agree with others' reviews that it is hit or miss. The breakfast during the week is menu based, and you can choose from options like avocado toast, oatmeal, waffles, and dirty potatoes. During the weekend it is buffet style with a few separate items that can be ordered. We tried the avocado toast, sedona breakfast bowl, and the dirty potatoes. All were enjoyed and my favorite was the pork carnitas with the crispy potatoes covered in queso Blanco. The salsa Verde was a bit too spicy for me. We also ate some apps for dinner. The ahi poke was delicious but again it was surrounded by the spicy salsa Verde. I guess when you come to the southwest, you should expect a little heat. We also tried the cheezy tomato bisque which comes with a basic grilled cheese. The soup was alright and there was nothing special about the grilled cheese. All in all, it's a great option if you're staying on site and don't want to venture out for food.

We are checking in prob around 10PM Saturday May 5th. While the main restaurant will be closed when we check in they do say they offer a "bar menu" till 11pm. Can anyone give me an idea about how extensive the bar menu is?

I would just call and ask as it's not clear from the website menus.

The Hudson truly fit the bill and lived up to the hype with its food and experience. Fortunately, we were able to have our meals outside on the back patio of the restaurant with amazing views of the beautiful red rock mountain formations that Sedona is known for. We started with a fresh and delicious salad. For the main dish, we had the 22 Oz. boneless ribeye steak with garlic mashed potatoes. The steak was amazing. It was ridiculously tender and flavorful. The mashed potatoes complimented the steak perfectly. The restaurant is classy and very well decorated. There is a bar in the center of the dining area as you enter the restaurant. Our server Zabdi was a pleasure to deal with. She was pleasant, friendly and always had a smile when serving us. For dessert, we had the banana cream pie. It was not too sweet and was chock full of freshly sliced bananas. The restaurant is located in the very busy downtown Sedona atea. Off street parking is ample and free. For the quality of food, pricing is appropriately priced, averaging approximately $80 per person. This was by far the best restaurant we dined at while in Sedona. We made the right choice celebrating our anniversary at this establishment. We highly recommend this restaurant for its food, ambiance and service.

Would absolutely recommend a reservation, but if you find yourself on the front patio -- still the same rock solid service and food. Come here!

The yucca fries tasted great, not healthy if thast what you're going for when you think of yucca since it's deep-fried in a potato batter, but it was good. We did still eat the food, though I had to down a whole glass of water with it (which didn't get refilled until after I asked for the check.. it was not a busy night, we were surrounded by empty tables). When asked how our food was toward the end of our meal I mentioned that the patties were too salty but that the yucca fries were good. Nothing was mentioned/done about that for us but hopefully they checked on that for the sake of the rest of their customers after us.

The paella was $38, so even with a 4% charge it should be $39.52 but we were charged ~$40. So my friends & I paid and after they charged the card, then I mentioned the 4% surcharge did not add up. The waitress tried to explain the 4% surcharge but I had my calculator out showing the charge difference.
