Came here looking for Japanese milk bread to make some of those viral Japanese cream sandwiches…read more This was a Friday afternoon and they were all sold out. Although they did tell me they get four shipments per week and their next shipment should be the next day (Saturday). So I called the next morning and confirmed their Milk Toast was available. So I was able to pick some up along with some ube buns (cannot recall if that's what they're actually called but it was filled with ube custard) which is my new favorite! Was immediately hooked! Ambiance was nice and clean. All of their shelves were nice and neat and everything looks clean. This location has a drive through but it was blocked off with cones. Not sure what that's all about but I'm just glad I didn't take my two little girls with because I was planning on going through the drive through with them. Luckily mama was cool with them staying home while I made a quick solo trip. Overall: 4-stars - Product availability is hit or miss it seems. Can't speak on their drinks or every single product, but the milk toast and ube buns were perfection. Minus one star for product availability but comes with the nature of being a bakery I suppose. Nonetheless would recommend and will be coming back for more ube baked goodness.

I like coffee and like anyone who has allergies if you ask them if there's a certain ingredients in like their white chocolate, which I was so excited to find out it does not have coconut oil. Yay for those ladies who love their drink drinks, but are allergic. I've actually met lots of people who have that issue. The service is great if you don't know exactly what you want they ask you what you're in the mood for and they break it down and they give you a couple of suggestions. I think the only thing that I have an issue with is due to the fact that it's on Bell you can smell the sewer when the window is open. And I don't think I would go there if I was pregnant because I'd possibly puke before I get through it but I know it's not their fault because of where they're located.

The service was quick. The line was long. I have tried many Black Rock drinks. It's likely that I would get the mango smoothie or the strawberry smoothie or the green apple smoothie again. I might get the iced matcha with strawberry cold foam again. I would get the pumpkin chai flavor again. I would like to try the pumpkin chai against their basic chai at the same time to compare. I also had their chai with vanilla and lavender cold foam in the past, but having had it not the same day, it's hard to really compare. The Oreo Chiller is a blended mocha with oreos. I couldn't taste the Oreo as the coffee flavor was strong. Good for those who like a strong coffee flavor.

The restaurant itself had a nice enough atmosphere, but the way management treated the workers completely ruined it for me. I witnessed a manager named Joe speaking harshly to a worker who was visibly upset after losing her 4-day-old son. Instead of showing compassion while she was grieving, he became angry with her for crying. I found the situation extremely upsetting and felt that she deserved empathy and understanding. The food was good and the ambience was decent, but the way employees were treated made the entire experience uncomfortable. For that reason, I will not be returning

I was a frequent customer during it's previous iteration as Yo&I and as Bubble Cups up until 2 or 3 years ago. Tonight was my first time back in years as I found out through a recent post in Yelp that it was closing. I stopped visiting due to personal reasons but I had to make a visit to try to catch the owner and tell her that the shop will be missed and that I was sorry to see them go. For the last hurrah, I made a large order for the following: Raspberry fruit tea x2 Hokkaido Milk Tea And my all time favorite - the Classic House Special The Raspberry and Guava fruit teas are currently buy one, get one free and all other drinks are buy one, get one half off. For my final parting words, if you are in the area or don't mind coming over this way, please visit them one last time before they close for good on Sunday, Dec 28. They have some amazing promos going as a final gift to customers and you will be supporting a local family that have been running this place. Thank you Bubble Cups for the years of great drinks to make my day a little more brighter. I hope to see you again soon someday!

I politely tried to say, "No, thank you," because I was actually trying to ask for a sample, but he abruptly cut me off and asked if I wanted to try a sample. At the same time, I was trying to look at the menu behind him, but he was completely blocking my view. I even tried to signal that I couldn't see by looking past him and moving my head toward the menu. At that point, I honestly felt so uncomfortable and frustrated that I just wanted to leave. I ended up picking something random from the menu just so we could pay and go. While my boyfriend was paying for our drinks with another worker, the same employee who had been talking to me was laughing on the side and acting like the whole situation was funny. What bothered me most was how uncomfortable and dismissed I felt. I came in expecting to have a nice experience with my boyfriend, but instead I left feeling embarrassed, frustrated, and honestly pretty disappointed. There's a difference between being friendly and making a customer feel like they can't even comfortably take their time looking at the menu or speak without being interrupted.

Unfortunately, the presentation and texture of the meal fell a little short. That said, the fish itself was flaky and delicious, and the Caesar side salad I chose instead of fries was actually the best part of the meal! Overall, everything tasted fine, but the fish & chips were a bit of a letdown compared to what I was expecting. Service was great!
