And even more!

There is a two hour time limit, but it's all you can eat during that time, but don't ask for something and not eat it! Fair warning. They have a great selection of broth to start your pot with, along with all sorts of veggies, seafood, sauces, spices and a great selection of meats to make the meal uniquely yours! The restaurant was quite and clean during our two hour stay and the service was outstanding! The lighting was very appropriate for the venue and provided a calming effect while enjoying the meals.

Great place to get all you can eat shabu shabu. Super friendly service, a huge selection of items. The meat was better than expected, pretty good quality for what it is. Overall, highly recommend and I would come back.

I didn't even know this place existed until my friend recommended it! Solid spot for hot pot. We came on a Thursday afternoon, and it wasn't too busy. The inside is large, spacious, and clean. I got the fresh beef bone gravy base soup which was pretty basic but still good. For lunch time, we were allowed to choose from meats #5-11. Our favorites were the beef belly- thin and tender. The sauce bar was lit; they had everything you could possibly need. Additionally, the noodle selection was great. They had ramen, egg, kale noodles and a few others. Fresh vegetables and seafood. They also offered japchae, tteokbokki, and fried rice along with typical side dishes such as a variety of kimchi. The selection all around was amazing. The ice cream was really tough to scoop out, so I got as much as my strength could give lol. I liked the subtle coffee flavor. Our server was super sweet and social. I would definitely love to come back!

Decided to check out Shabu Town for our very first hotpot experience. And unfortunately I was severely disappointed with the service especially after stating we have never done hotpot before. After our initial order, we were left waiting and waiting for our next round of meats. Finally we had to go up and let one of the servers know we have been waiting and want to order more food. For an all you can eat place, it almost felt like it wasn't. They were super quick with the check though! The broths were kind of bland, but the sauces definitely helped bring some flavor to the meal. The side buffet was really nice. Lots of accompaniments along with some seafood. Due to the service alone, I don't see myself coming back here.

Amazing prices! Great place to go to if you are skipping school. So much fun, so much food. Our server was good

Price is decent, lots of parking spaces shared with other businesses such as Big Lots. Service is friendly yet slow but also, they're short staffed. There was only two people taking orders and maybe a manager to assist. Other staffs handled emptying plates and restocking the buffet area. If you're into good broths and good meat selections, this is not the place. If you're new and don't care, come here. Individual broth pots, which is fine but the broths taste like instant noodles packets. The meat slices are so thin, it's thinner than rice papers. You cannot get any thinner than this. However, the vegetables selections are quite good. Clean and fresher than most AYCE hotpot buffets. There's a good selection of seafoods and noodles as well. There's enough space to walk and to eat. This place can be the it place. There's room for improvements. Have thicker slices of meat and better broths can top this AYCE buffet.

Already took 18% tips and recommended more . . $28 tips for 4 adult and one toddler is enough .

We arrived 1.5 hours before closing, with a group of four adults and one toddler. After an hour, we received the check, which included a $28 gratuity fee. I had heard that automatic gratuity is typically applied for groups of six or more, so I was surprised to see it added to our bill. This might explain why the service was slow around 8 o'clock. When we paid with our credit card, the receipt showed suggested tip amounts, which I found shocking. This was our first visit and will definitely be our last time here.

We tried different soup bases - they were all way too bland and taste exactly like instant ramen soup. The server was really nice explaining their rules at the beginning, but not saying anything when dropping meat and rushed away. And look at these beef slices - they are the most skinniest slices I've ever seen. Sorry to say we were disappointed, but I would not be back.

One of the best kept secrets in Katy and hotpots! We frequent Shabu Zone down in Alief Chinatown, however, the crowd is always massive there and a long wait if you don't get there early enough. Discovered this place from a friend and if you want to avoid the crowds and go to a cleaner environment, then this is the place for you. Shabu Town took over a Chinese buffet which was sadly what I remembered as a pretty good Chinese buffet restaurant. The location isn't that great for business but hopefully this place will stay running. The meat is good quality. I like their premade sauces as well. They also serve japchae (Korean noodles), fried rice and tteokbokki (Korean spicy rice cake) on occasions. They used to bring out ice cream to you after dinner upon request, which I liked because you didn't have people digging their arms and hand to scoop out ice cream, but unfortunately ice cream is now self-serve like Shabu Zone. This place is for you if you're craving hotpot and don't want to spend too much.

Came here with a friend on a Saturday night for dinner. We didn't have trouble finding parking or a table at all. The service was quick and have a family fe to it. Each person at the table gets their own soup base so it's easy to customize it to your liking. The toppings/add ons to the hotpot is plentiful. There are 3 long bars just for these. There is nothing missing. If you want it, it's there. There is also a lot of options to customize your own dipping sauce as well. I had the bone broth soup. I had high hopes for this broth, but it came out a little plain for my taste. Good thing the dipping sauce saved it. Overall, I would come back and recommend this place to others.

New menu!

It took a while so we went ahead and ordered the base soups from the iPad, but when the waitress came back she explained how the order was already in and can't be canceled so we couldn't order the deluxe set menu. Which was disappointing, because the cost has now increased significantly. Then she talked us into the dancing noodles, which we agreed on because it was our birthday dinner. Unfortunately, she came back to say it wasn't available because the chef was not working. At this point we should have just left. We ordered lamb, meat, tofu, fish balls, beef tendon balls, assorted vegetables and mushrooms as well as the sauce bar. Food was great, a fun experience with the robot and cooking at the table. Everything was fresh and well organized. I just wish that we were informed of the deluxe menu vs the pick and choose. We left there paying about $150 with tip for 2 people. Tried to email the management as offered, but the email address does not appear to exist as I got a Failure Notice immediately.

As soon I stepped into the restaurant, I was hit with delicious aromas of KBBQ and seafood sizzling at the tables. I was in the mood for noodles and so was my friend - we ordered the jjamppong and the jiajiangmein. The broth for the jjamppong was super flavorful and deep with seafood notes. There were plenty of veggies (cabbage) and squid. The shrimp were small and kind of mushy - probably from a frozen bag or just not fresh. I didn't mind though. The serving size of noodles were perfect, and maybe a little bit more than I wanted since I couldn't finish the whole bowl. The jiajiangmein looked equally as delicious - my friend said there was a lot of onion in the sauce. The array of banchan consisted of kimchi, marinated bean sprouts, cold kimchi pancake, and marinated spicy cucumber. Yummy banchan as well. Tasty Ko is a great spot if you're not wanting to drive all the way to the Spring Branch area for Korean food, and not wanting to spend an arm and a leg at Katy Asian Town. Service was spot on, quick, and we got our food in what felt like maybe a few minutes. We started off with pork dumplings for the kiddo, which he INHALED in moments. For entrees, we split the orange chicken and the Spicy/Numbing Pot. The orange chicken was spot on. The sauce was sweet but not painfully sweet or thick/clumpy. Really nice orange flavor and tender chicken. So much fun eating it since it is gluten free! Our kiddo also devoured this dish! Mild - not spicy at all! The Spicy Numbing Pot, while a little oily/greasy on the bottom, was still delicious! I appreciated that it wasn't knock your socks off spicy - it had a solid kick, and so flavorful. I love eating dishes with Sichuan Pepper; it has a lot of flavor, and the tingling is so much fun. This dish was perfect with some rice, and it wasn't too heavy for the middle of the day. The prices were really reasonable, and there was enough food for leftovers which we ate later that night. Our only regret is not getting the duck appetizer, but we will be sure to get it next time. I haven't been to this spot in years. I forgot how good this place was!…read more Music is always popping here. I came in on a Friday night, and they had a live DJ playing. The music is a mix of EDM, Hip-hop, Rap, and R&B. They have tables and bar top seating. If you have a bigger group, I'm sure you can find a table depending on the time you arrive. There is a lot of seating. To start off, I ordered the Matcha Martini. It was STRONG omg, definitely a sipper, but it was so good. It was creamy and had a good matcha flavor. I love how they added matcha powder on top. For drinks, I also tried their espresso martini and Bubbly Pineapple. The espressos here are good, no complaints. The Bubbly Pineapple is so cute; it comes out with a bubble of smoke you can pop. The drink is very refreshing; it really tastes like pineapple. FYI, the drink has little black seeds, so if you don't like textures in your drink, maybe this one isn't for you. Also the drink came with a little frozen pineapple you can add to your drink once you pop the bubble As an appetizer, I got a dozen raw oysters and decided to add the $5 tobiko (fish eggs). Let me say, they were not stingy with the Tobiko, there was so much on my Oysters, I mean a lot! The oysters were good, and so was the tobiko, but I feel that with so much tobiko, it kind of took away from the oysters. Still good though, especially for $21 for the dozen with the tobiko! It was very filling I'm not gonna lie, I got pretty full with the oysters, but I still had to eat my entree As an entree, I ordered the Short Ribs, which came with rice and a side salad. I didn't think I was going to eat much of my entree since the oysters had filled me up, but I ate the short ribs down to the bone! Every single one of those ribs I devoured, no meat was left on my plate. I didn't have space to eat, but my stomach made space for this. 10/10 would recommend the short ribs, especially with the delicious sauce it came with. I think it's like a fish sauce 10/10 for food and drinks. Bonus: the staff here is really friendly. I really enjoyed my time here. I need to come more often for sure, this is definitely a Katy gem

As I dug deeper, I read Jando's glowing review word-for-word and found myself salivating. Well, I ventured out to S. Mason for lunch, found the place easily, appreciated the ample and free parking, and walked in. I had read before that they used to be closed on Tuesdays and Saturdays, but now they are closed on Mondays and Tuesdays but open for dinner on Saturdays. (See my photos.) Anyhow, we walked in and found the place homey. Nothing fancy - just a nice, clean, homey Malaysian restaurant. Not too big, and not too small. We placed our order of roti canai, stir fried flat rice noodles, seafood sizzling tofu, and topped it off with a Malaysian milk tea. Oh my - we were satisfied and stuffed as a party of 2. We ended up boxing up almost 40% of the meal. The roti was near perfection - crispy, hot, flaky. The dipping sauce was perfectly seasoned with the right amount of heat. It included chunks of chicken and potato. You must absolutely order this one. I love me some stir fried flat rice noodles so we got that one with chicken. Overall, it was excellent. Portions were a tad smaller than I would like for the price. Also it could use a little bit of hot sauce so we asked for a side of sriracha which they gladly and quickly brought. The sizzling tofu - OMG so good. I can't even explain it. I just love it so much and the portions are huge. I'm not sure what the vegetable flavor would taste like but we tried the seafood one and have no regrets. Lastly the milk tea was just because we felt like splurging and it was also a great decision. The tea flavor itself is deep and the overall drink is very nice. We got it iced. And an honorable mention - we ran into Uncle Chin (at least we assume it was Uncle Chin) and told him his food was amazing. I think he really appreciated it. He seems like a super nice guy and I want his business to do really well. If that wasn't Uncle Chin then we talked to a random person and raved about the food...
