One thing I really liked was that there was very limited amounts of seasoning and that allowed the freshness of the food's natural flavors to come out. The highlight of the meal was definitely the bone marrow. It may seem quite intimidating because it is served in the bone, but it was amazingly flavorful and tender. One thing I liked was that you can do a wine pairing per glass. Which means that you can choose which dishes you wanted a wine to drink with. This also meant that you didn't have to commit to a whole wine tasting (which is difficult for me because I'm a light weight and can't drink much). A great wine selection for all budgets and some of the best service you will find in Den Haag. You got two of each of these, a tasty salad and a large basket of fresh-made naan that was some of the best we had ever had. To be clear, the neither the food nor the restaurant are traditional Indian, but Indian food is a heavy influence on their menu. The restaurant is a bit more upscale than what I'm accustomed to at many of my favorite Indian restaurants but not so much that it felt snobby; the ambiance was clean, well lit, and tastefully decorated in a modern European style. I'm happy that I looked at the menu in advance online, as they have an English version of the menu on their website but not in the restaurant. I ordered the Nihari Stew, which was a lightly spiced beef stew with some raw(!) diced peppers and onions in it, as well as some fresh seasonings on the side that I could add including hot chilis, a slice of lime, coriander leaves and ginger. I found that the stew was tasty and the beef was well cooked, but the flavor & number of ingredients was a bit more plain/simple that I expected, and beyond the beef, the other ingredients were all raw which didn't seem to be the best complement to a beef stew. I would have liked some cooked vegetables in it. The seasonings on the side didn't seem to be a good match either, though I love those flavors in other foods. It came with a basket of naan wedges; the naan (an Indian flat bread) appears in a lot of menu items, and I found it to be not as soft and fluffy as I expect naan to be, perhaps because it's made with whole grain flour; I would describe it as roti rather than naan. It's not bad, just mislabeled for those of us who are familiar with Indian cuisine. The restaurant has an extensive menu of wines and cocktails, but partly to save money I opted for a mango lassi instead (traditional Indian yogurt drink), which had a hint of seasoning that gave it an unusual flavor (cucumber water? not sure, it was hard to identify), and was thicker than most mango lassi's I've tried, more like a smoothie. All in all I came away from the meal a bit disappointed, as I was expecting it to have more of the aspects of Indian food that I love, but perhaps it's simply an issue of my expectations rather than the food itself. I also felt it was a bit pricey, charging €16 for a main entree, though I know that organic ingredients do cost more, so I felt the cost was enabling them to use high quality, healthy ingredients. It might be a better place for a tasty snack and beverage than a full meal if you're on a tight budget. Note that the only type of card they accept is the Maestro chip + pin debit card, otherwise make sure to bring enough cash to pay for your meal! For 6.95 Euro one gets two main dishes and a side like rice, in ample quantities, well packed in a styrofoam meal container. The quality of the dishes is unusually good. No blandness nor anything overly saucy nor anything over or under cooked. It is just exactly right. The dishes are very fresh, flavorful (using various spices or fresh fruit based sweeteners). One can get spicy or sweet and sour dishes. Their crab rangoon dumplings are addictive, crisp and flavorful, without any greasiness. The orange flavored chicken truly tastes sweet and tangy with the tangy extra made with fresh orange peels and the sweetness with a special syrup. The general Tao chicken is more tasty (well spiced) than 90% of what one encounters in the USA or the Netherlands. The owners are very talkative and often experiment with improving their dishes and their cooking. In contrast to Dutch take outs which close either on the dot or way before official closing hours, this couple often stays open as long as there is business and will even prepare fresh dishes close to closing time, just to help customers. Generally they close between 8 pm and 10 pm, depending on the week day. Big benefit for expats is that they are fluent in English. The restaurant is located just off the main thorough fare called Willem De Zwijgerlaan. One turns at the traffic light and then thrice right to end up on a spacious free public parking. There are also a night convenience store and a hamburger take out restaurant in the same shopping strip. One can also order online. If one prefers to eat the food there, there is plenty of space to sit.

It was covered in sauce and mixed with so many ingredients I couldn't discern the taste of the lamb or even if it was raw or not. I would NOT recommend this. It was a warmer day and the shaded patio looked so inviting. They've done a very nice job incorporating trellises with plants growing up them. It almost has a tropical vibe. We ordered a wonderful salad and fresh rolls to split and they were very good. Fresh, crisp ingredients. Perfect for a summer lunch. The real standout was their signature drinks though. My husband ordered the Dragon Lady (a very tasty, refreshing iced tea) ad I ordered the "Little T Mix" (a mix of ginger, lemongrass and jasmine tea). Both excellent! If you are visiting The Hague, I recommend a stop at Little V.

O.o) My friend and I found the music funny/charming, it was literally all pop songs you'd listen to if you were a teenage girl... I enjoyed it... don't judge. The food was problematic, however. You need to pay for items you don't eat in a round (on top of the all you can eat cost). This makes sense for the business model, i.e. you don't want people ordering extra food they won't eat. So that's ok, but you can tell they're cutting corners to make the most money out of your meal session. Nagiri have a sliver of fish on them and a huuuuge wad of rice. Sashimi costs extra (like 3-7 extra euros depending on the fish). It's obvious they're trying to fill you up on rice. They also bring dishes out super slow. Lunch took 2 and a half hours, it feels like this was in an effort to get our food to digest so we felt more full with less food. Also, the food wasn't great quality. The rice had a little too much vinegar and the miso soup was really not enjoyable... but we ate it, otherwise we'd have to pay for it. The tuna was also not good. The gyoza were nice though. The dumplings in general were nice. Nothing else was really noteworthy. Overall, if you go here, it will feel like a competition of you v.s. the restaurant in terms of getting the most bang for your buck. Cutting corners on food and long wait between food rounds make this a restaurant worth skipping.
