Sisig Crunch-a-dilla
Graciela G.

We were in the neighborhood seeking something quick and filling, fortunately this spot was close by. We ordered as soon as we walked in on the self service kiosk. They had a ton of options, but I landed on chicken sisig crunch a dilla. It was a savory and crispy quesadilla resembling an elevated Taco Bell crunch wrap. It came with a spicy nacho cheese and green salsa on the side. The price was steep, but worth the serving portion and flavor. Once we ordered we waited about 15 minutes for our food to be ready. They standing indoor seating, but a ton of outdoor seating. Definitely want to come back and try their tacos or sinigang wings next!

Nice location, outdoor seating in from on street and in the back...and friendly staff. Tried Tasilog burrito, Ube churros and pandan tea. Pandan tea had good flavor but very sweet. Burrito was good, some fatty pieces of pork, but now crazy fatty. Ube churros were kinda hard and drenched in cinnamon sugar and then coated with a sweet Ube sauce. Tasty but again, very sweet.

Horrendous, just horrendous. Even if other people want to blow smoke up Señor Sisig's ass because they don't have standards, I won't. What a disappointing fall from grace ever since the days of being a food truck that visited SFSU. Look, I get that things won't be the same price as they were ten years ago but if you're gonna charge your burritos like two or three times the price of what they were back then, I think the bare minimum I should get back is two or three times the quality. These burritos are tiny as all hell for more than $16 each. Most egregiously, there's more TOMATOES than protein. So not only are you ripping me off, you're actively stiffing me on top of it. Don't insult my intelligence. I always had a sneaking bad feeling when I heard Señor Sisig opened actual physical storefronts. I always suspected they would take a dip in quality because that's how it always happens when a business becomes booming. On a personal level, good for them. It was well deserved after how much I loved them in college. However, in execution it sucks on every imaginable level. I took my nephew from the Philippines here because he thought this was such a fascinating concept and I thought it would impress him. Bang up job, you failed. I never thought I'd say this but Los Kuyas is better than Señor Sisig now and I don't even like Los Kuyas. That's almost impressive except it's not a badge of honor.

Traveled 30 minutes to get 3 of the Tosilog burritos. I asked for 1 w/out tomatoes, all mild, and a side of their mild salsa. Just got home to find that they all have tomatoes, and one is "Hella Hella + Spicy". I cut all three in half, hoping they just put the wrong ticket in my bag, but it wasn't the case. I tried calling and they don't answer the phones, even during business hours like they say. I'd kinda understand if they were busy, but I was actually the only one there. I also noticed both, the person who took my order along with some other guy (cook?), just standing next to each other and looking at their phones instead of making sure my order was made correctly. Now, I've gotta call my credit card company to dispute the $70 charge and then find food for me and the kids elsewhere. P.S. - the portions are "HELLA HELLA" smaller than they used to be. Definitely not going back for their food.

Tried Senior Sisig on Mission and overall had a good experience with a few standout items. The mangonada drink was really good, and the calamansi ginger lemonade was super flavorful and refreshing. We also loved the sinigang wings--perfectly crispy with an excellent sauce on the side that really made the dish. The one item that fell short for us was the tocino tocilog burrito. Unfortunately, it was a little disappointing--there were large pieces of tomato that overpowered the burrito, and there wasn't much egg (barely half of one). Because of that, it was just okay for us. Still, there were enough great flavors that we'd come back and try other items on the menu. Ambiance was nice, spacious.

Sisig Crunch-a-dilla

While we were in the city for an SF weekend to visit Dolores Park with the kiddo chasing the Bay Area sunshine, we stopped by the Señor Sisig location off Valencia to grab a few things to-go before heading over. We ordered a plain cheese quesadilla for the kiddo and my personal favorite, the Sisig Crunch-a-dilla. It's basically an adult, elevated Crunchwrap. Simply perfection. The wrap is served with a side of their spicy nacho cheese sauce and one free salsa (tomatillo or habanero). To be honest, I could pour that cheese sauce over anything :)) This location has a kiosk to order from or the counter with a person, and a small back seating area. This location also has beer/wine, other kiddo options, vegan options, bowls, salads, and their traditional taco & burritos. Would love to try the California Sisig Burrito or Tosilog Burrito (Filipino sweet pork served with adobo garlic rice, sliced tomatoes & a fried egg). The Tosilog also comes with a side of vinegar. I'm getting hungry just thinking about it! Parking may be a bit challenging, but we parked in a garage close by while we enjoyed walking and exploring the Mission's best.

This place is so good! It screams Filipino, Mexican, and Bay Area pride. The food is so tasty and is truly the best of all the cultures. I also love that they have a whole vegan menu not just one vegan option. This location has a self order kiosk and a traditional cashier and then a lot of outdoor seating in the back with really cool art murals. It's a go to spot whenever I'm in the area.

I've seen this restaurant recently on DoorDash and today when I was down in the mission, I walked by it. I was having dinner later, so I just got a snack. I really liked that they took the time to explain the menu to me and all the different options, including a lot of vegan ones I only ordered a snack of a child's bowl with the pork on it. It came with rice and a lime. I also had the ginger lemonade which was out of this world really really good. We will definitely be door dashing this place. Highly recommend very tasty.

Came on a Sunday for lunch right and managed to get seats in the back area before it got super busy. I ordered the ube horchata and tosilog burrito. I was really excited to try it since there's a lack of Filipino food in my city, and I was not disappointed. The flavors were fresh and definitely hit the spot. As for the space, you order at the counter up front and you can grab a seat in the covered patio in the back. There's a good amount of seating but I definitely wouldn't recommend it for groups of more than four people. We watched two large groups attempt to wrangle seats for everyone and it was a nightmare just to witness. I would definitely recommend Senor Sisig for a quick bite if you're in the area!

First timer here and I finally made it to Señor Sisig! Visited on a Saturday around 6 PM and there was already a line out the door. They have a long, tall outdoor table that seats about 10 people if you want to hang out and eat right there. Parking was a bit of a headache but I got lucky and found a spot around the corner. Definitely buffer some extra time to park. The area has a nice vibe with plenty of nearby shops to wander through if you're waiting. Here's what I ordered: Senior Sisig Bowl + Tocino ($16.54) - 7/10 - Tasty overall but the tocino (sweet pork) leaned a little too sweet for me. Sisig Taco + Pork ($6.83) - 7/10 - Packed with flavor and fillings. Served on two tortillas. It's definitely on the pricier side for a single taco but worth trying at least once. Sisig Salad ($15.23) - 5/10 - Pretty plain for my taste. I'd skip this one unless you're here for a lighter or healthier option. Crispy Sinigang Wings ($25.67) - 7/10 - Crispy, flavorful and the tamarind sauce was absolutely delicious! It cuts through the richness of the fried chicken and tied everything together. Sisig Crunch A Dilla ($18.38) - 10/10 - Must order! All the best of Señor Sisig wrapped up in one quesadilla. Overall, delicious spot with a fun atmosphere. I'll definitely be back!

Tocino California Burrito

Visiting San Francisco this weekend with some friends and they suggested we should get Señor Sisig. I've had it once when they were at a Local Kitchens store, other than that this was my first time having it at one of their restaurants in the City. I ordered a California Burrito with tocino, and my friends ordered a tocino burrito & tocino bowl. Food came out super quick for the amount of people that were also waiting. We sat in their inside-patio with lively music playing in their speakers. My friend asked for his burrito to be cut in half but they must've forgot and didn't cut it which we ended up doing ourselves. I can't really justify the (almost) $20 price for the burrito but then again it is a trendy Filipino-Fusion place so it makes sense. Overall a solid experience for my first visit!

Food is good and comes quick Service fast Ambiance is clean. Restroom clean. Music great. Seating area spacious Thanks Joe

The Whole Barnyard

I remember first trying Señor Sisig back when they were just a food truck making waves around the Bay Area. Fast forward a few years, and now they've got multiple storefronts--and the flavor is just as bold and unforgettable as I remembered. Their Filipino fusion burritos are still some of the most creative and satisfying bites you'll find anywhere. Every visit feels like a mix of nostalgia and something totally new. This time, I went all in and ordered the Whole Barnyard Burrito, and wow, it's a beast in the best way. Stuffed with tocino, chicken, pork, tofu, a fried egg, fries, shredded cheese, sour cream, guacamole, and pico de gallo, it's basically a full sampler of everything they do best, all wrapped in one massive, delicious package. It's super filling, rich with flavor, and somehow everything balances out without being overwhelming. If you're hungry and craving something truly unique, this burrito is a must. The Service was quick, I ordered for pick up at 11:30am, walked in, got my food and walked right on out! The Ambiance is great if you want to sit down and eat at the joint, personally, I enjoy grabbing to go and feasting at it when I get home due to the food coma that comes after eating it all!

This place is famous for their burritos and especially the "Dorado style," which tastes amazing -- BUT what they don't clearly disclose anywhere is that the Dorado style burrito is cooked in pork lard unless you specifically ask for it "dry" or with vegetable oil. As someone who does not eat pork for religious reasons, finding that out after already eating there was honestly really upsetting. And the frustrating part is that there is NO clear sign or disclosure telling customers this. If I never asked, I would have had no idea. I actually still like this spot and appreciate that they at least offer a dry/vegetable oil option if you ask, but customers should not have to investigate ingredients themselves to avoid pork. Jewish, Muslim, vegetarian, and other customers deserve transparency. A simple sign or note on the menu saying that Dorado style is prepared with pork lard by default would solve this issue completely. Great food, but this absolutely needs to be disclosed better. One of my all time favorite spots in general.
