We've had a few meetings now with Olena during the alteration process and have trusted her and have every confidence in her ability. She would snip the lace here and there and make cuts to the dress while my daughter was in it, and I asked Olena if that made her nervous to cut into fabric like that. I am so pleased with the outcome today. I can't say enough great things about Olena I needed just a hem in a prom dress so she seen me on Monday 5/9. I left the dress after she made some adjustments and she said I could pick it up the next day. When I went on Tuesday morning and tried it on it was the perfect length. But we discovered that it would fit me so much better if she did a few more adjustments to the straps and the sleeves. She is really up front with her customers and I'm very glad she is. So she got the other adjustments done overnight and when I put it on today I was astonished at how much better it really looked on me. The new fit made all the difference. She did all of that from 3pm Monday night to 10:30am Wednesday morning. A great turn around! And her work is awesome! I would recommend Olena for any alterations you may need. Olena is incredible! She is efficient, professional, extremely talented, and kind. I am a doctor and have very long hours. I needed a seamstress to take in a bridesmaid dress for me but couldn't meet until 8:30pm. She was able to fit me in and have the dress done well before the wedding. I was so happy with the results of the first dress, I brought her a second bridesmaid dress for a wedding a month later. I was able to conveniently TEXT to schedule an appointment. I came in on a Sunday afternoon and she altered the hem, sleeves, took it in at least two inches, and added a hook and eye, and had it done by Tuesday (!!!) with no additional charge. Olena had the daunting task of making a previously very fitted dress into a 8 month maternity dress (thanks for the delayed year COVID). Lace, satin and ribbon all had to be altered and she did it flawlessly regardless of the medium. She was thoughtful and added in elastic to ensure a great fit. I have to say, I did not think it was going to be possible, but she was a miracle worker. She seems to work around the clock and always is available by phone. Super efficient and prompt. I highly recommend Olena. She did an excellent job on my wedding dress, which has tons of layers. Olena also made suggestions I wouldn't have thought of, like making my straps removable instead of taking them off altogether. And when I picked up the dress, she made sure I was happy with everything and that I was comfortable with the alterations (I was. she did a phenomenal job!) Olena is so talented! She had been recommended to me by multiple friends so when I needed a hem line shortened for a bridesmaid dress I decided to give her a try- and I'm so glad I did.
