I don't know why I haven't written a review earlier! I stopped in shortly after they opened today. The first thing I said was that I needed what I was brining in by Saturday. I had my husband's doctoral hood and robe with me as the hood did not have the needed attachments pieces in the back to keep it from sliding off his shoulders. The seamstress took the time to listen to what I needed to have done to it AND watched a video I had that showed how this should work. She watched it again and again and then asked me to text it to her so she could be sure to get it right. In the process of looking over the doctoral hood, she also noticed on the robe some stitching issues on one of the velevet pieces on one of the sleeves. She told me she would also fix that which is so great becaause I had not even noticed that. Later this afternoon, she called to say it was ready! I picked it up and it was perfect! She did an excellent job at both securing the hood so that it would not slide off my husband's shoulders AND she fixed the stitching on the sleeve of the robe. And....the price was very reasonable! If you have any sewing/alteration needs, this is the place to come!

I called and asked if they could fix it on short notice and they agreed to the circumstances. I sent pictures of exactly what I needed and they were able to execute with no problems. I have received 4 voicemail messages in the past 2 weeks, but today he threatened to "donate my personal property to Goodwill". This is not only illegal but highly un-ethical business practice. It is NOT his personal property, and he has NO authority to donate it anywhere! If this is his (right now, very shady and secret) business practice, he would do well to put it in writing for his customers to be aware of prior to enlisting his services. A complaint will be filed with the BBB. There are lots of other tailors around.
