Sewer Heroes came through for us after a DIY faucet repair went wrong over Memorial Day weekend. I was skeptical that they'd be able to get the job done after arriving in the afternoon and making a trip to the hardware store, but once they got to work it was super efficient. Mike and his team got the job done quickly and we were able to turn the water back on and use our shower again! They advised us that we'd probably have to find another vendor to help us with drywall patching after their work, but after they went to the store they found a solution with a little door/vent situation that would allow for easy access for the pipes if anything were to go wrong again. Bottom line: I wouldn't do business with this company again. Services provided: emergency snaking and hydro jetting Sewer Heroes performed an emergency snaking of my main sewage line. They showed up when they said they would and cleared the line. That earns them a star. From there, it went downhill. I'm addition to clearing the line, they upsold me on the hydro jetting service to clean the line because a channel had formed in it, constricting flow. They claimed this service would remove the build-up but it did not. It failed. At the time, they said it could only be removed by a pecote tool (chain device that would cost $4k) and quoted me for that service plus an additional $11k lining that they recommended. Total of $15k quote. The following week, I called a competitor because I was reluctant to drop $15k. The competitor looked at it for 10 minutes with a camera, then performed a hydro jetting service (same thing as Sewer Heroes) and the line was completely clean. Nothing else needed or pushed on me. $1.5k. The worst part of this encounter was the complete lack of ownership by the Sewer Heroes team, even when confronted with clear video evidence. They wouldn't acknowledge any of my frustration or take accountability for their subpar service. This attitude would make me very hesitant to do a larger project with them ($15k lining). What if something went wrong with that? Would they just double down and refuse to take responsibility? I understand mistakes are made or equipment doesn't work as advertised but arguing with a customer and getting defensive when you messed up is not good business. read more

These guys are amazing. My waste pipe clogged and water backed out of the toilet. It was a mess! They got there super fast and fixed my problem right away. I am over the moon happy! Thank you thank you thank you. I had to add to the review... but they came day 1 and got the pipe moving. They gave me a recommendation for what needed to be done. I went with it. They came back the following day to do the rest of the work. The price I was quoted is exactly what I paid, zero games. I had a bathroom sink that was not draining (all my other sinks and bathtub were draining no problem). I called one company who sent out three techs individually on three occasions to look at. After trying to auger each time unsuccessfully they indicated part of the drywall would need to be removed for them to access the pipes - I would need to hire a separate company to do remove and repair the wall after they fixed the pipes at an additional expense. They further indicated my full stack would need to be replaced for ~$5500 (plus the wall expense). I called another well know company to look at it. I indicated what the other company indicated. Without attempting to auger the pipe and running the water on the other taps and looking at the plumbing, they indicated ~$5700 and that the full stack should also be replaced (plus wall expense as with the first one). Between these 2 companies I spent $1000 with the problem still not being resolved. I called Sewer Heroes and they came a couple of days later (working around my schedule). Within 3 minutes of arriving they were already working on the drain. They had the issue RESOLVED in 40 minutes. Cost to fix - under $200 (compared to $5500-$5700 plus wall repair expenses with the other companies). I'm not saying this would be the case for everyone since plumbing issues vary, but am I happy with Sewer Heroes based on my experience? You bet I am! read more

Sewer Heroes will definitely be our go-to plumber in the future. We had a clog in our main drain to the sewer line, which was causing our basement bathroom to overflow and spit out sewage. We received excellent customer services from Sewer Heroes from the moment we gave them a call. Very prompt response time, and Branden was extremely helpful and walked us through the whole issue. When he first arrived to our house, we actually had trouble finding the sewer trap. He explained there are some cases where it might be covered up by flooring due to poor design. We purchased the property last year, and obviously the plumbing was not something we looked into enough. Anyway, Branden was persistent in finding the trap rather than moving on to alternative, more expensive measures and finally discovered it hidden in a movable floor within a closet! After clearing the drain up with the snake and jet (it was pretty bad due to some "flushable" TP we bought online), he showed us via camera the terrible state our pipes were in leading to the sewers. Most likely they would break at some point in the near future, whether that be months or a couple years. It was highly recommended to reinforce the pipes which would essentially guarantee them to last another 50 years at least. There was no pressure at all, but replacing broken pipes would not only be inconvenient but cost more than double the reinforcement estimate. We decided to adhere to the recommendation, and he came by with a crew the very next morning. After about a half-day of working on the pipes (our property has a long stretch of pipes leading to the city sewers), they were done and showed us via camera the state of the new pipes. My wife and I felt very assured throughout the entire process and are very happy to know that we will not be having an issue of a burst sewer line anytime soon. They were also nice enough to clean up part of the sewage mess during the fixing, and the snake/jet initial cleaning ended up being waived/absorbed into the pipe reinforcement cost. I would highly recommend this company for plumbing issues to anyone in the vicinity. read more

Having a 110+ yr old townhome in Queens you never know what has been done or updated. We had a sewer blockage. Doug from Sewer Heroes came quickly, assessed the problem and cleared the blockage. He showed me a video of my orangeburg pipe which was deteriorating and it was very clear this pipe needed to be lined. Part of the pipe had to be dug up under the driveway because it was collapsed. His team was phenomenal! They were very professional, thorough, courteous, and neat. They left our property immaculate. You would never know major work was completed. Called them feb 9th because water was backing up from the washing machine drain. They came out same day and snaked the house drain said there was grease in trap and this would made a hole but maybe not get all the grease. They left and said it should be ok maybe down the road I might have do it again. When I tried to was cloths half an hour later it backed up again. I called and they came back and they snaked it again said it was ok but that they could due a special grease cleaning for about nine hundred dollars. I told them that this seamed to be only happening with the drain pipe from the washing machine and maybe they should snake that. They said it was not that and left again I tried it and it leaked again I called back and they said they would send somebody Else the next day I then got a call as was told they could reduce the price to eight hundred. I had enough from them and decided to call a plumber I used to use years ago he came today and snaked the drain pipe from the washing machine and is working great. From the time they came over to give an estimate up to the successful completion of lining our problematic main sewer line, Sewer Heroes has handled our major project with utmost professionalism, care, and outstanding quality. Mike and his team did an excellent job. After a prior video inspection, we found out that our main sewer line had a few segments where it was sagging (aka bellies). These areas became a nidus for standing water and slow drainage. One of their technicians, Doug, did a thorough evaluation during the initial visit, and went as far as doing his own video inspection. There would be no disruption to the landscape and lengthy excavations, which other contractors could not avoid. Chris showed up to my front at a little before the 9 am appointment time. He then proceeded to snake my backed up sewer line. It turned out the problem was more extensive than I thought. He then showed me the condition of my sewer line through a camera. The job was more expensive than I thought at first, but well worth the price for the damage done by tree roots which had infiltrated and dislodged the clay pipes. I only wish I had called sooner! I had a sewer line clog on Friday and while I'm somewhat handy, I was not able to clear it with my own rooter. I had called another company but they couldn't help me either. On Saturday at 8 am, I called Sewer Heroes, and by 9am Chris showed up with a van full of equipment and a helpful, friendly attitude. We were able to test the drain lines and he ran a camera down to confirm there were no blockages remaining.
