I called on Monday to see if I could have my sons suit altered for prom. She fit me in. I let her know that I had to get my son and his suit after work and then come. Mrs. Hopkins was willing to work with my schedule but I came on in because his prom is Saturday. We walked in and we felt like home. She greeted us, and started right to work. She wanted to give my son what he wanted and warned us her limits because of how the pants are made. I loved this because she is the expert. When we left, we were told that it would be ready on tomorrow (Friday) but she called me on Tuesday to let me know it was ready. We will come today because he had to work. I'm excited to see his suit and how it fits and all. More to come once we pick it up... Update: I added his photos of his suit! She did an amazing job with it! Gail is wonderful! My wedding was originally scheduled for this May, but due to COVID-19 has been moved to May 2021. I found Gail on yelp because I was needing to get alterations done on my wedding dress. Gail is very prompt and stays on top of her appointment times and follow ups. During my fitting we were chatting and laughing as she has a wonderful and kind personality. My dress has a lot of layers but Gail was able to come up with unique ways to alter my dress without having to cut any lace off. My dress is strapless and I was worried I wouldn't feel support enough on the top. She added some inserts so that I wouldn't have to find a custom bra. She finished the dress a couple weeks before the original date, which is great for a bride to be able to pick up the dress early. When I tried the dress on at pick up the dress fit absolutely perfect! The inserts she added worked perfectly, the length was just right, and the reverse bustle she did looks beautiful. Gail is very professional and is a great seamstress. I highly recommend her to anyone who needs alterations or tailoring done. I can't post photos of the dress yet, since I now have to wait another year to wear it but I can tell you it looks perfect! read more

I brought my wedding dress here last fall and I couldn't have been happier with the quality, price, and speed of her work! Okay, I know, this is a bit late, but better late than never, right? I had to have significant alterations completed on it, including having the cap sleeve completely reworked due to me being short/my shoulder and torso length. Ms. Gail is a dedicated perfectionist! My wedding gown had seven layers of petticoats under an embellished brocade skirt, and it was nearly a foot too long for me, even in heels. Ms. Gail not only meticulously ensured that every single layer was the right length, she hemmed the dress BY HAND (the crystal embellishment would have done horrible things to a sewing machine), cut the skirt at an angle so that I would have a small train, and added a bustle.
