I wish I could give zero stars! My wife took two new garments (dress & pants) to be hemmed. I picked up the garments on 5/14. Upon arriving at home, my wife tried the garments on and noticed the dresses fabric was cut unevenly, and they did not hem the slip. With the pants, the stich line was wavy and very obvious (needle too large?).
I immediately returned to the location on Ivy Park Ln to see what could be done to resolve the issue. The owner's/manager's brother was more interested in proving us wrong than assisting is resolution. I asked for the owner/manager but was told he was "busy running errands." I asked for a refund until the service was corrected. I was told only the manager could perform that, and he was not coming. I had no choice but to leave the garments for repair and pick up on 5/15. I asked for the manager to meet me at 4pm to discuss. I was texted at 330 saying to meet the manager at 5, and the garments would be ready at 530.
When I returned, I was told the manager is running late but he was coming. My wife tried on the garments and the dress is now shorter than what she wanted. And the pants has one leg longer than the other after the hand-sewn repair. Effectively both garments are ruined. 45 minutes after arriving, I was told the cowardly owner/manager was not coming as he was again "busy running errands." Again I asked for a refund or negotiated discount, but was told only the manager could perform that action. But since he's hiding from a displeased customer, I have no other recourse but to file a complaint with the BBB, Chamber of Commerce, and my financial institution.
This whole situation could have been avoided if we had a conversation with the right person that continues to avoid me. All we truly wanted was to be treated fairly, and with dignity and respect.
Needless to say, Zebra cleaners lost mine, my family, and my friend's business.
