When I asked how he knew it was a control board issue, he didn't give me a clear answer and claimed it was mostly a process of elimination. I had a different company who was authorized by the washer manufacturer come out, and they were able to diagnose and fix the true electrical wiring issue for a diagnostic fee of $150. I'm disappointed in the quality of work and care by the 98 Refrigeration technician and feel that I wasted money on the diagnostic fee (which resulted in an incorrect diagnosis). All the water hoses were connected and not leaking so that meant it was underneath the refrigerator where I couldn't reach. Who to call? I started the search for a reputable repair shop and was glad to find such good reviews on Hugo's Appliance LLC. My call was immediately answered and the scheduler stated who she would assign my work to and they would call me as soon as they could as they were on another project. Short time later Eli from Hugo's called to hear me describe the problem and assure me he would be over to look at the appliance. I was so impressed with a number of things, how personable Eli was, how efficiently he diagnosed the problem, and his knowledge on older JennAir refrigerators ! The valve replacement had to be ordered and it might be delivered in time for a Friday repair but if not they would have me up and running on Saturday morning. Saturday morning Eli came prepared to finish the work and I am amazed at how organized, and efficiently it all went. Even better was there was NO mess to clean up afterward. Eli also did a few extra things like vacuuming the base of the refrigerator thoroughly so the motor didn't have to work so hard and he checked all of the water lines, inquired about the filter and last time it was changes etc. Just a thorough review of my appliance. Overall I am thrilled with the work done, the rates are reasonable and it is clear they genuinely care about their clients. i went in to metropolitan appliance on memorial day weekend and had done my online research and was…read morepretty certain what i wanted in terms of a replacement slide in stove. jacob a approached me and ended up helping me. we spent over an hour talking about options and discussing standard coil vs induction/glass top. i wasn't going to go that route but jacob is very thorough and not pushy at all; multiple times he stated that his goal was for me to purchase something i felt comfortable with and would be happy to own. i appreciated that. ultimately i decided to go with a frigidaire model that was a drastic improvement on the stove/oven i've lived with for two decades. he took care of the payment paperwork, the scheduling of delivery which had to wait until now and also all the communication between us. he was also kind enough to send a follow up email alerting me to being eligible for a rebate based on the model i had chosen. today, the delivery folks showed up within the stated window and i'll just say that the tracking system clients are sent to know when to expect the delivery is magic! it helped a lot to be prepared and to have cleared the adjacent space but it left no guessing for when they would arrive. jorge and his teammate (sorry, i didn't catch his name) were professional and efficient. they knew how to handle the extrication of the old appliance, how to set up the new one and insure it was level, and they walked me through basic operating instructions. all told (and i haven't yet used the appliance) i have been very happy with the level of service and courteous communication from this business. it makes me want to provide their name to others who are in the appliance market and to use them again when i next need a replacement.

He gives me "this happened at our house and everything was fine, I've been around a long time and have had my own experiences" BS. He send over fans and a carpet cleaner.......4 days later.......i have known the Shaws a long time and when it wasn't the sons running it was a great business. Instead I get "what do you want me to do?" Ummmmm. If you have had so many experiences you should know what to do.
