We go to the car to go grocery shopping next, and what do you know...car won't even start. It wasn't the battery because we tried jump starting it. It was the starter. I called my insurance company, Farmer's, roadside assistance. It was a long ordeal on the phone with them because they connect the call out of state, and then I was not told approximately how long it would take to get someone to tow my car. I also called my sister in law to come pick up my husband and son. Ten minutes later, I got an automated call saying the wait was an hour and a half to get someone there. Anyways, my husband and son got picked up while I waited for the tow service to arrive. The gentleman from the tow truck, Hussein, called me to assure me he was ten minutes away. He called me again and asked me if I could see him in the parking lot, which I didn't. Then we came to know that the guy from Farmer's who called him and told him the address where I was at, gave him the wrong address to a different El Pollo Loco! Ugh! I had even spelled out the name of the streets. Luckily it wasn't too far from where I was. Hussein came quickly after and hooked my car and off we went. He was really nice and professional. We dropped off my car at the local car shop that we go to. I was not happy with Farmer's service but very pleased with the service of this company. The driver, Max, was on time (well, I-405 on time if you know what I mean). He loaded the SUV onto the flatbed and within 10 minutes we were on the road. I asked to ride along as I had no other convenient way to get to HB. Max and I had a great and enjoyable conversation along the way. We arrived in HB at almost the exact time I wanted. He unloaded the SUV in 5 minutes and left. The whole process was efficient, and I thought fairly priced. Great experience. Hopefully I won't need another tow in the future, but if I do, I know who to call. Definitely recommend this company.

Had to leave the car at a gas station because AAA didn't have a tow truck for me at that hour. Told me it'd be 5-6 hours.... Not cool so left the car and went home via uber. Next day I get to the car but before I did, at 10:50am AAA told me a tow truck would arrive between 11:45-12:45. Great. Got to the car at 11:20am, and waited and waited and waited. Was assigned to a tow person which btw the reception extremely rude over the phone, told me it'll be actually another 2-3 hours, and then never called or communicated with me. Hung up on me. I ended up going rogue and called Fernando Towing. Owner answered and told me a flat fee and they'd be there in 20 min. Understanding of my situation, SUPER nice, and straight to the point. I told him I needed them here by 1pm because the gas station manager was going to tow the car. Fernando towing said no problem! We'll be there before then. Said and done! Immediately relieved the stress I was having. Of course the towing company AAA assigned came 10 min before Fernando Towing did. I said nope sorry - I canceled already, and your people were rude. Also there was no communication on where you guys were so I hired someone else, sorry! Thanks but no thanks! They ended up leaving. Jose was the worker who helped and he was very very very kind and understanding as I was having a tough day even before this car situation. Within first talking to Frankie, I could tell generally he was a good guy and by meeting him and him keeping his word on the price and timing of the tow he lived up to it.
