I have used this company once a few years back. Didn't have a problem that time. The tow truck guy called my husband and gave us an ETA of 1 hour because he was coming from Whittier. We waited for over an hour. We called the tow truck guy MANY TIMES & he never picked up his phone. I called a different number, no answer. We called our insurance company & they couldn't get a hold of the guy. If you can't make it, at least give us a courtesy call that you can't make it & call insurance to get another tow truck! We were stuck in the Cemetery for 3 hours! Terrible service!

ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE SERVICE…read more Mercedes-Benz dispatched QZ Towing because I had a flat tire. I waited nearly TWO HOURS. Then I was told the driver was "right outside." He was not. The driver had gone to the gas station NEXT DOOR instead of my clearly marked address. I could literally see his tow truck from my unit. I immediately went outside, opened my gate, and was standing approximately 50-100 feet away. I was RIGHT THERE. Instead of taking a few seconds to locate the correct address--which was directly next door--the driver simply DROVE AWAY and left me stranded with a flat tire. What happened next was even more disturbing: QZ Towing reported to Mercedes-Benz that I had "cussed out" the driver. That is absolutely FALSE. I did not curse at that driver. Nearly two hours waiting. No tow. Driver leaves while I am only feet away. Then an inaccurate complaint is made about me afterward. Completely unacceptable and unprofessional. Mercedes-Benz should seriously reconsider using QZ Towing as a roadside-assistance provider. Based on my experience, I would NEVER recommend this company.

On the night…read moreof 12.14.24 my father had passed away, after leaving my mother's home in OC we were driving back when we got a flat tire in Lynwood. This is an area we are unfamiliar with and let alone we ended up pulling into this sketchy area as it was the closest off the freeway. It was so scary and we had to abandon our vehicle due to not being able to get roadside service right away. My family and I had to leave our vehicle behind an alley and run to find a safe place to find a tow company. I called a few places and they told them our situation and they were quoting $600+ plus to tow and drive us back to the Valley. I ended up finding Hawks via Yelp and decided to give them a call. I ended up speaking with a nice individual and he quoted us half the price. They came to our rescue and had to bring a flatbed due to the type of vehicle we had. He drove us all the way from Lynwood to the Valley. After going through such a traumatic and sad incident with my Father the Owner of Hawks drove us to our house safely he was kind, compassionate, he kept my sons spirits up and made us feel at ease and just safe. He will forever be our guardian angel. Professional, honest, hard working and kind. I would highly recommend Hawks! Thank you

We go to the car to go grocery shopping next, and what do you know...car won't even start. It wasn't the battery because we tried jump starting it. It was the starter. I called my insurance company, Farmer's, roadside assistance. It was a long ordeal on the phone with them because they connect the call out of state, and then I was not told approximately how long it would take to get someone to tow my car. I also called my sister in law to come pick up my husband and son. Ten minutes later, I got an automated call saying the wait was an hour and a half to get someone there. Anyways, my husband and son got picked up while I waited for the tow service to arrive. The gentleman from the tow truck, Hussein, called me to assure me he was ten minutes away. He called me again and asked me if I could see him in the parking lot, which I didn't. Then we came to know that the guy from Farmer's who called him and told him the address where I was at, gave him the wrong address to a different El Pollo Loco! Ugh! I had even spelled out the name of the streets. Luckily it wasn't too far from where I was. Hussein came quickly after and hooked my car and off we went. He was really nice and professional. We dropped off my car at the local car shop that we go to. I was not happy with Farmer's service but very pleased with the service of this company. I would highly recommend them for any emergency car situations. Thank you again!

As we got closer to the pick up date called again to make sure that we are ready to have the car picked up. Two days before the actual pick up date she said we have an opening. We expected the opening and waited all day and no show. Meanwhile from another state we are speaking to Alex who keeps telling us the driver is in traffic, the Driver is unloading other cars, the driver is loading other cars and due to the work day we will show up the next day. Next day and still no show and now Alex is not even picking up our calls. When reaching to Lisa she is not picking up and now saying to only text show she has everything in writing. From the first day I called to speak with Lisa a heard over the phone another employee in the back ground arguing with someone on the phone. That alone should have be my warning not to deal with this company. So on our actual pick up date that we have in writing again no show up. After our Text with Lisa finally Alex kept calling and pleading with us not to cancel. At this point with the way we have been treated we do not feel comfortable in any way to work with this company. I asked for my deposit back and they refuse to give me my deposit back and said I have a store credit. I went on line and found a 5 Star company and booked a new pick with them and their prices are even lower then my initial company. I do not recommend this company at all...stay away.
