Litos Towing - Towing Near Me

My car broke down after attending a funeral at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Long Beach. We called our insurance company and they set us up with Lito's Towing. I have used this company once a few years back. Didn't have a problem that time. The tow truck guy called my husband and gave us an ETA of 1 hour because he was coming from Whittier. We waited for over an hour. We called the tow truck guy MANY TIMES & he never picked up his phone. I called a different number, no answer. We called our insurance company & they couldn't get a hold of the guy. If you can't make it, at least give us a courtesy call that you can't make it & call insurance to get another tow truck! We were stuck in the Cemetery for 3 hours! Terrible service! read more

State Farm set me up with Litos towing and I ended up waiting for Litos towing to tow my car. I waited for about 4 hours 7 pm - 11:30 pm for them not to show up . Lito reported that my car was towed and the service was completed to State Farm which was false, they never showed . I had to go out of my way to find a different towing company not associated with my insurance to tow my car less than 3 miles away from my home. Please communicate with your clients if you are unable to complete a service so we are able to contact different companies through insurance immediately. read more

David turned a f#%*d up day into a really great experience! 1. Very professional on the phone en route. This was during LA rush hour! I was nervous but he gave me an exact estimate and got to my vehicle 1 minute early. 2. Quick and efficient- Got the car on the platform and locked in before I could even call my Uber. The car was at the dealer and checked in before I was Halfway through my ride. 3. Refused to take a tip- Exhibited integrity and extreme professionalism! Crossing fingers but if something ever happens again and I need roadside assistancw. I'm calling Lito's. No brainer. good looking out, David! read more

I don't even know where to start , the lady that works the front desk seriously needs to look for another employer . Not only did she have to very worst attitude I've ever experienced in customer service but when I addressed the behavior she popped off . Cussing wouldn't even let me speak , hung up & wouldn't answer . I am literally shocked lol seriously the worst way to start off the new year with that attitude and it's a shame to work in customer service when you clearly hate people or just hate yourself idk . And reading the comments . I am not surprised. You would think she's just having a bad day but girl ? All the time ? Lol read more

Stay away from this company!!! They were sent to me by on star and the driver Yankee lied about the arrival time and I waited an hour longer then what the app stated. I called and he keep saying I'm 29 minutes away. Then we he arrived he blocked the business I was at driveway and was very rude and inconsiderate. When I questioned him about lying about the arrival time time he said I should know how to change a tire. Wow that's why we called on star. Please do your self a favor and find a more customer friendly company. read more

Dear Yankee, Owner: Talk about damsel in distress, I am home safe and sound because of DAVID!!!!!! I highly, highly, highly recommend this towing company LITO'S Towing in Long Beach. If I was able to give a higher-star rating to David, then I would!!!!! Exceptional and incredible customer service and his professionalism, communication skills (interpersonal as well) were at its best and its finest. He warned me about possible heavy traffic -- I totally forgot it was Memorial Day weekend, many places were closed -- He arrived sooner than I had expected and with a kind and caring energy, an excellent listener too!!!! To make a long story short, the back tire went flat on the freeway, had to maneuver from far left lane and drive to the nearest exit ramp, and find a safe place to park without ruining the wheel. It was stressful for me and I wasn't familiar with the area. To my surprise, I didn't know there was a spare tire in the trunk. David went out of his way to switch out the tires, ever so quickly, and effortlessly. I truly appreciate his service and his skills to get the job done. I didn't end up having to go to the mechanic shop, he saved me time and money. Also, he mapped out how to take the main roads and not the freeway. Furthermore, he followed up to make sure that the spare tire got me home safely! And it did. OMG, what a stellar guy!!!!! Thank you so much, David. I am so thankful for your help and for giving me a peace of mind during a stressful time. I appreciate you. Again, I highly recommend David at LITO'S Towing. He's simply the best! read more

Recently they towed my car for service, the dealership has them on camera taking my ray ban glasses out of my car. When I called them to talk about it they start screaming and hung up on me. Update: Shortly after speaking with them they start sending me messages like the one pictured. Completely rude and unprofessional. read more

Needed help because the work truck wouldn't start. Called my roadside assistance and told me they would be sending Litos towing. The driver they sent out was super nice and helpful. Terrible customer service. Was arranged via my insurance company for pick up after an accident. Called Lito's after I waited the 2 hour estimated time. Lady was rude and said she did not have my dispatch info and "if she did, she would know what I was calling about." After I called my insurance company, again, Lito's called me back within 2 minutes from an unidentified phone number to tell me that they can't tow my vehicle because the tow location was closed and that their yard was full. They did not offer to tow me elsewhere like my house! They said they could tow in the morning. I reported them to my insurance agent. read more

Burned by Litos again. First time they left me waiting four hours for a tow, telling me that the driver was a few minutes away every time I called for an ETA. This time I was told at 10:56am that the driver would be there "within the hour." At 11:56am, no driver still I called to get an update. This time, they could not even be bothered to answer the phone. Terrible communication. Avoid at all costs! read more

This company was contacted through my roadside assistance through my auto insurance and gave us an estimate that was over an hour from the time we called. An hour and a half later they still haven't come. About 20 minutes later, the tracking app said that our order was completed. No one ever showed up. Great exp with this driver, Yankee. He calmed my nerves with great conversation. Very professional and nice. Thank you so much.

Rudest tow guy I've ever spoken to. Told me it would be a few hours because he was currently towing a hot rod (I guess he likes hot rods). Argued with me about whether the dealership would be open to accept me and if the car could be dropped off at all. Told me I'd have to follow him in an Uber "like everybody else does."-- he wouldn't let me ride with him. When I questioned this he hung up on me. I called another place who was very kind and accommodating. This guy was a total asshole. Avoid him. read more

I have free towing through my car insurance. The car would not start and I called for towing, and "Yankee" (that's what he said was his name) from Lito's came. He arrived 10 minutes before the estimated arrival time, and it took him less than four minutes to get my car started. He tapped the starter to clear some dust out of it and it started right away. I got to drive it to the mechanic instead of getting the car towed. Big relief and I am a very happy camper now. read more
