Alvarez, arrived within 15 minutes at around 9:30 p.m. He was very matter of fact, a man of few words, but he was knowledgeable, resourceful, and fast. He tested and charged my battery, then gave me options and suggestions about replacing it. He did not oversell or pressure me to buy a battery from them. He even called AAA to check when my old battery had been purchased. I had originally been missing some plastic clips that fasten the engine splash shield. After he replaced the battery, he went back to his truck to see if he had any extra clips to give me. I was very pleased with the entire experience and with my new battery. The ONLY reason this isn't a 1-star review is because of the redeeming qualities of the CSR that I spoke to on the phone after having to deal with the incompetent driver that showed up at my house. First off, in a world where scammers run amuck and call you 24/7, this driver called my phone, asked for me, and didn't tell me where he was calling from expecting me to be friendly. He asked me what vehicle I drove and I told him which. He asked me again what it was and I said what it was. Then he proceeded to say, "is it a corolla or what?" when I already told him twice what car it was. He spoke to me like I was a bimbo who didn't know how to answer his question. When he showed up, he called and I said, "Yes, I'm looking right at you" to which he never moved his head to acknowledge me nor did he acknowledge me when I got closer and was waving him down. He gets out of his vehicle and says, "you got an attitude problem or something?" to which I responded, "I sure do when I'm dealing with unprofessional and incompetent people who talk to me like I'm the idiot." I cited his attitude and unprofessional behavior from the call and told him he could leave and I'll have another driver come. If this is the type of people or company that @AAA employs, take your money somewhere else. It's not worth the headache. The woman working said she can check the glovebox for us but we weren't allowed back there. She could only "do so much," as if she expects people to carry their car registration document with them on hand? She went back to "check the car" twice in the glovebox and came back saying, sorry we can't do anything. Mind you, it was 4pm and they closed in an hour. We headed to the dmv and got the registration document, spent $30 on that replacement, and came back to the truck only to find... the registration in the glovebox. The glovebox was completely empty besides the owners manual and the registration. I can't believe this company was trying to scam us out of another few days. BEWARE!! I finally get the name of this company and speak to the rudest person named Julio. He asks for photos which I send. He says he will speak to the tech and look at the video. If I could give them no stars, I would. Last year, my car broke down by the freeway. The driver picked me up and dropped my vehicle at the dealership where I have my vehicle serviced. I noticed that the driver was scoping out the things in my trunk and interior. With my electrical system fried, my alarm was dead. He dropped off my vehicle at my dealership's lot thinking all is fine (around 8pm). The next day, at 7:30 in the morning, I thought everything bf was fine until I opened my driver's side door. Papers and things were scattered all about the seat, and my back interior had precious gear stolen. I was surprised to see the same issue happen to others from this company. on 1/26 i Had an accident and needed a tow. AAA assigned Finishline (i've used them before and typically have really good service). they were due to come within about 2 hours that wasn't an issue. however i then received a call at about 3:45 (after the time a tech was supposed to be available ) to let me know they were busy and running behind. (no problem it happens) however i was then asked "is the car drivable ? Originally AAA assigned this company to our various trouble. If that happens to you, ask for someone else. Originally, they would be there in an hour. Then it was 10:07 three hours later. Then 9:50. The guy who calls me at 9 asks some more questions and says they'll be there in 25 minutes. He proceeded to lie to AAA and say the van had cargo to unload so they were canceling. All I told them was it was a large cargo van and it wasn't empty. This was actually part of what I told AAA up front so they didn't send someone who wasn't equipped to handle it. We ended up trying to inch home, only to stop with a mile to go and reschedule with AAA. The new company assigned showed up in fifteen minutes, had a positive attitude from the beginning, got us home, made sure my wife was able to park safely and may have even gotten the van out of limo mode. I would never recommend Finish Line Towing to anyone. I'm actually thrilled they canceled after three hours and unannounced. The second company AAA sent was worth the wait. Do not use these people for battery service! I drive a Toyota and the AAA battery was not even a year old and died leaving white acid all in my engine compartment. I dread calling them and this time got no text message update and the robot system sucks want a live operator that is what AAA should be. I had dinner waiting on me. The tech first drove off when I was upstairs and I had to wait an additional 10 minutes. He said 550 Maine on the phone and I texted him 555. I called again and he hung up on me 2x. Then he made me dig through my car for the receipt. It is 2024 and he ended up calling the call center anyway. My replacement battery in my Toyota compact car is a H22 and has white stuff leaking out of it only dated 01/23. The dude did not want to sell me a battery I look in the back of the open bed f150 pick up and there were only a few used batteries. No ford transit enclosed. Then the guy parks his big truck land states I have no warranty no discount on my battery replacement. Been a member with aaa for 12 years. Then it is 20 minutes til auto zone closes and the guy did not move his truck I had to jump my own car to get the windows closed and car locked, take out and put in my own battery, and paid more for autozone battery since they have digital receipts better batteries and no bad attitude tow drivers with no batteries this is not the first time I get a drug addicted racist tow driver with no battery to sell. read more

Wow - I'm in disbelief - picture a company that doesn't care about customer service from the dispatcher, the tow truck driver, to the manager - Jason. The tow truck driver drove right past us, four children and two adults all waiting outside the car, in the parking lot, in 95+ degree weather, saying he didn't see us, with no attempts to contact us either. Oh wait, two hours later, I spoke with Jason, who said, "Yeah, well, that's your side of the story. We can't jump Tesla batteries anyways." So this tow truck driver drove by us and couldn't have told us that? Instead, we waited another hour for a new tow truck driver, who was never coming, and Jason dared to imply that I was making up some story. What would be my motive for that? I was assigned to Finish Line Towing by Tesla Roadside. My car's battery had died and needed a tow out of my garage that has a low clearance. Unlike the tow company AAA sent who refused to even attempt to help me, the drivers at Finish Line went above and beyond to try and get my car out. The first driver they sent (I forgot to get his name) didn't have the proper equipment on him, but did everything he could to jump my vehicle and attempt to get it into tow mode. He could've just left, but he did his best and called right away for another driver when he realized he couldn't do it. The second driver, Kelvin, was very friendly and professional. He got my vehicle out quickly and without any issues. He brought me safely to my destination and was extra careful when going over large bumps and when entering/exiting steep driveways. My car was towed by them today without my knowledge or permission when I parked my car temparily across the street to drop off my kid at his backetball game held at The Map Sports Facility. It is on Western Avenue before Lampson Ave in Garden Grove. The lot seems to belong to Container Supply Co Inc but it has a normal street sign (Rob Hurtt Way?) on it to appear like a public access, wide open area, no fence or gate to block the area or any sign to warn people. Anyway it was my bad for not coming back soon enough to drive it away. Here are the charges arbitrarily made by Finish Line Towing Company before they allowed me to take my car back. It just smelled like a ransom money. They took my ID, xeroxed car registration and made me sign a lot of documents, the whole nine yard, to make me agree to pay the amount they unilaterally asked for below. Towing Fee $240. Their actual towing was exactly only one street block away. After Hour Release Additional Fee $120 (this was in a Saturday morning around 11am). Storage Additional Fee $97.50 for being towed to and locked up behind their gate for about half an hour. Total Fee $457.50 to get my car back from Finish Line Towing for my temporarily quick parking at an open space to drop off my kid across the street. Isn't it a bit escessive? Looking back on what happened, I did feel I was to blame for parking there even temporarily and have mistaken the street sign on the private lot to be indicating it as a public place but it feels like a trap to phish for innocent drivers to park and be towed right away. I would like to know if there is any business arrangement between the lot owner or the parking service across the street at The Map and the towing company for these kinds of excessive fees? Somebody must have called Finish Line Towing to come to tow my car. Who called? Please kindly provide me with an answer. I would also like to warn other innocent drivers not to repeat the same mistake I made. I felt like a sucker when they told me how much I would have to pay to take my car back as though they could charge me anything they wanted and I had no say at all about the ripoff price of $240 for towing one street block, not to mention all the other additional ridiculous charges they added on to my bill to come up to a total of $457.50. Where can I go to make a complaint for this excessiveness of the money they forced me to pay, while they held my car hostage? Do I have any legal right about the ripoff charges in this incidence? We discovered my spare "donut" was flat too, so he filled it, then took the flat off the car and quickly found the a screw stuck in the tire. A few days ago I was horrified to find that there was a kitten stuck underneath my engine while I was driving. After calling AAA, animal control, the fire department and a mechanic, no one would come help. Each company said it was another company's area.
