I am extremely disappointed with Falcon Towing. We are AAA members and called for assistance simply to unlock my grandmother's car. Instead of focusing on the service we requested, the technician quickly turned the visit into a sales pitch and tried to convince my 90-year-old grandmother that she needed a new battery. Thankfully, we had the battery checked elsewhere and learned there was absolutely nothing wrong with it. It is deeply upsetting to see an elderly customer pressured into buying something she did not need. Seniors deserve to be treated with honesty and respect, not viewed as an easy sales opportunity. In my opinion, trying to sell an unnecessary battery to a 90-year-old woman during a simple roadside assistance call is unethical and unacceptable. We trusted AAA to send someone who would help us, not someone who would try to take advantage of my grandmother. I expected much better, and based on this experience, I cannot recommend Falcon Towing. read more

From James, to Glenn to each person that followed up and made sure we were satisfied and SAFE. We needed a tow and Glenn (Glen) arrived and got us locked in oh so very quickly. Called AAA because of an issue with our well known brand of EV where it died on the side of the road. We were assigned to Falcon with an eta of 52 minutes. Falcon came in about 30ish and knew exactly how to handle our EV since it happens all the time. Drop off at the dealership was close by only a 3 mile ride. Got a flat tire on the freeway on July 4th. Pulled off into CVS parking lot and called AAA. They assigned me to Falcon Towing in Gardena and said the truck would be there within an hour. I have a Mercedes (with run-flat tires so no spare). My car needs a flatbed truck, and there arent that many of them. FALCON WAS THERE IN 15 MINUTES!! WITH A FLAT BED TRUCK!! ON A HOLIDAY!! Brand new truck, clean and air conditioned. Very cool driver, we had a great talk on the way to my house, he was efficient, a great driver and had some helpful hints for me in buying a new tire. It's a total buzzkill when you disembark a cruise ship after a fun trip to find there's a huge nail in the tire, and on Thanksgiving Day. Luckily I used my AAA app for assistance and they dispatched a technician named William out to meet me inside the parking lot. William saw the problem, got to work with his tools to open the spare compartment, swap out the tires and properly inflated the spare so I can safely get home. He was fast, efficient and friendly. I normally don't leave reviews...but definitely had to for this one...I placed call for tow service through AAA at 12nd within minutes got a call from Falcon Towing guy said they were on their way and the 10 minutes later got text saying they were busy and would be at least an hour wait....then almost an hour later I got another text saying the same thing so now its almost 2 hours later and still no tow...so called them and tried to cancel they said they were only tow to service area and if I canceled and called again it would only make my wait longer...so 3 hours later called AAA back and spoke to manager who stated they are sorry and didn't realize this happened... and they would send someone else out... and within 5 minutes I had another tow at my location... they even made it home before me...an hour after I was home FALCON TOWING... came me and said where v are you we are looking for you about your tow service. The amazing Anthony came and switched the blown tire for my spare, and was really considerate and understanding of my situation, being along in a dark area in the middle of the night. I have AAAplus membership. Battery replacement is free, per AAA Website. I was unknowingly up-charged $35 for "Terminals/Difficult Install additional labor." There is a simple panel that needed to be removed. Gave me a final total and I signed without questioning it, because they are AAA approved. In 24 years, AAA has always had the best prices and I thought prices were fixed. I also asked if there was a cash discount and he said I would save $2, so I paid by cc. Did not explain that there is a $6 "Convenience fee." He emailed the invoice and asked if I received it. I did, but did not bring it up on my phone, as it is too small for me to see. I am 70+ and I feel they were taking advantage of my kindness and age. I found out that you can request NOT to use Falcon Towing battery replacement, through AAA! read more

He is professional, pleasant, stable, calls ahead, is super capable and has the amazing advice we all need for our cars, for every scenario. He is going places because he is *that* good. Needed a battery jump on my motorcycle, as I was stuck in a parking lot late in the evening. AAA hooked me up with this company. Communication was on point as they called me right away for confirmation of my location. Seemed like nice people over the phone and they also let me know when driver was 5 minutes from me. I like that. Arrival was within the 5 minutes but a few minutes later than the original time given, no big deal. Looking at my battery housing it seemed we might've had an issue due to stripped screws, but he was smart enough to bypass those and a few seconds later he had the bike started! The most pathetic excuse of a company I've ever experienced. Not sure why AAA partnered up with such garbage. I called AAA and was told Falcon towing will be coming within an hour, the woman on the phone with Falcon towing was EXTREMELY rude and needs additional customer service training. I called back an hour and a half later and she told me a tow truck will arrive in 30 minutes. I called back 45 minutes later and she claims there is no record of my claim on file, at this point it was two hours of waiting for a tow. Again, pathetic excuse of a company. I even let them know they sent me a text message that they received my request. The rude woman on the phone lacked basic listening comprehension. I saw it with my own eyes plain and simple. I complained and asked for them to fix it for me. I know my lip was flawless before he scraped it loading it on the ramp because I had just picked up the car after painting the lip! Car was in perfect condition before they towed it. I've had to have my car towed twice within 24 hours, and I received excellent both times. I had a shredded tire on the driver side after driving over an unseen pot hole, and I called AAA, and the towing company was Falcon. My first tow was on the night of this past Thursday, February 26th. While I think the driver's name was James, he arrived in a reasonable amount of time, was courteous, efficient, and professional. He got me to my house and dropped my car off in my parking space safely. The next day, Friday, February 27th, I called AAA again because now, I had to buy tires, and Falcon was the company to take the assignment. This time, my driver was Jeffrey Castellanos, and again, he was top notch. He was prompt, courteous, professional, and knowledgeable! Contacted AAA for flat tire and they sent me a tech from Falcon , tech who came to change tire did not know what he was doing, he was probably new because he installed the wheel studs incorrectly to the point were 1 of the wheel studs broke, he even told me after it broke that he had a feeling that was going to happen, so I asked how come he did not tell me that before the fact but he did not know what to say. When tech called his manager who was on speaker right away asked If I had already sign the waiver? When spoke to manager James, he said it was because car is old and things can happen. Had to take my car to tire shop and paid $125 to get it fixed because Falcon is not responsible for any damages. At the tire shop another stud broke when removing spare tire, they said and even showed me studs were installed incorrectly not because car is old. I locked my keys in my car and had to call AAA. These days communication is most efficiently done through robo-texting, which has you input your car's make and model. Satnav zeroes in on your location, and I was informed that Falcon Towing would be there in 30 minutes. I was a bit bummed that it would take so long (I had my hot takeaway ready to go in-hand), but this is standard. How happy I was to get a phone call from Joel 20 MINUTES EARLY!! Yep, Falcon Towing arrived in only 10 minutes! I know luck is a factor due to where the last service may have been and traffic conditions, but this was prime rush hour/dinnertime when people are driving home from work and picking up food. Joel found me immediately in the massive and crowded Torrance Crossroads shopping centre near Costco. Home Depot, In-n-Out, Vons...the In-n-Out (am I misspelling that?) drive-through line alone is criminally, hellishly long. SO many businesses there. He was courteous, friendly, and efficient. In over 35 years I've had to use AAA MANY times (I've had three vintage English cars...many tows and jump-starts needed, haha!!) and this was THE quickest anyone has ever shown up. LUIS is a stand-up guy and very professional. My daughter's truck died right when she stopped at a busy intersection. I drove to her location and contacted AAA. A tow truck driver was enroute to our location. Coincidentally, another tow truck driver with a AAA logo appeared in our location, near a 7 Eleven. I asked if his name was Gustavo, per the AAA app that was my driver. That was not his name, and he was there to run into 7 Eleven, but he asked if we needed help. I apologized and told him our situation, and that we mistook him for our driver. Our truck was still dead blocking a lane of traffic. The AAA app indicated that our driver was there, but we didn't see him yet. Luis told us that he'd run into the store and if we needed him to move the truck out from the lane, he would do so when he came back out. The kindness and concern Luis showed during a time when it was a bit stressful and chaotic is priceless. When Falcon hired him on, they genuinely hired a good man and added tremendous value to their team. read more
