If you are looking for a towing company, this is the one to call. My husband and I just moved to LA from Ohio and our car gave out on us 3 days after arriving. It was very stressful being new to the area but luckily we called this place and Sam the driver arrived within minutes and took care of our car in 5. Sam was an awesome help overall. I'm very thankful I called them. read more

Been a member of Yelp for about 5 years, and this is the first time service was SO GOOD...I couldn't not write a review! Sam and the rest of the guys over at Torrance Towing are PHENOMENAL!!! Like most of you, my experience with towing/auto mechanics is usually less than pleasant, but my experience with Torrance Towing could not be further from the case. Long story short, had my battery give out on the way to work (I HAD A PRESENTATION TO GIVE) and Sam showed up almost instantly, took about 3 minutes to get my car up and running, and was simply just a saint. The service couldn't have been easier, or smoother, and just wanted to say THANKS! Sam, you sir, are a lifesaver! read more

My battery in my Acura MDX died in a shopping center. I called Brady and the folks at Torrance Towing for assistance and they were friendly, helpful & affordable. Brady pulled up within a half hour and gave my car a jump start and even was friendly enough to joke around with my kids and brighten their mood. You can't pay for service like that! Torrance Towing saved me ! My old car had numerous amounts of problems, one being the starter. At times I would be ready to head to my destination and my car wouldn't start. I called Torrance Towing to help me bring my car back home so that I can Uber for the day. Will was there and assisting me within 30 minutes! Super professional and speedy. I was extremely pleased. My experience was fantastic, and I have used them twice since my first incident. I now have a new car with no problems, but I would totally recommend Torrance Towing to anyone in need of towing services. read more

I had a fantastic experience with Torrance Towing to help my make my day that much better and easier. I was having some car trouble in the early morning right before I was heading off to get my day started. This was my first time having to call a tow truck, so naturally I looked on Yelp for some nearby locations. I came across Torrance Towing and decided to give them a call, since many people had reported having positive experience with them. Within a matter of seconds I was connected with someone who was able to help me out. Not loo long after calling, the tow truck driver, Brady, came out to help me get my car to a nearby mechanic. Not only was he extremely helpful, but he was able to do all of this so quickly and efficiently that it truly made the experience hassle free. I drive a pretty decent car, so when the transmission went out I was shocked and annoyed . I called Torrance Towing to get my car towed to my home. The staff was very very friendly and helpful. Despite me being angry at the situation the staff was able to reassure me that everything will be ok. Brady arrived and was just as helpful and polite as the other staff member. I would recommend this towing service to anyone who appreciate great customer service and support. If I could give 10 stars I would that's how great this place is!!! read more

About a couple weeks ago I had car troubles getting home from work but was Leary about calling a tow company because of the stereotypes around them but I turned to yelp to help me find the best one and Torrance towing looked like the best one to try and I'm so glad I did! Brady was the one who came out to help and take my car to a mechanic near by. He was extremely genuine and all Around seemed happy to work there and help. Torrance towing is awesome! read more

My car broke down on the freeway and I had to pull off to call a tow truck, I called Torrance Towing. I waited about half an hour which is pretty good compared to having waited 2 hours before. Brady showed up and had no problem putting my lowered car onto a flat bed, most other drivers give excuses about it being too low, but he put it up no problem, dropped us off at the mechanic, and it was a very smooth transaction, would have no issue dealing with them again read more

Awesome towing company! On my drive home, my car broke down and I panicked, not knowing what to do. The flimsy parking permit which is always hanging from the rear-view mirror apparently fell onto the floor of the vehicle. So, George & Joey's was called. In my experience, their drivers typically check inside vehicles with a flashlight before towing, but that procedure either was not followed in this case or was overlooked. Unfortunately, it was more like an opportunistic tow during the Memorial Day weekend. When I contacted the company, we were informed--just before retrieving the truck--that the cost would be $375.00. The representative admitted that the permit was visible the following morning, but claimed it could not be seen at night because the windows were tinted. That explanation simply does not hold up. I personally tested visibility by placing the permit back on the floor and using a low-powered flashlight, and the permit was still clearly visible through the window. Overall, this experience was a complete ripoff. I see why they have complaints, particularly around overcharging and unfair practices.

It's to no surprise…read more However, my 5 stars are ONLY for the tow driver who worked at the location on Tuesday 03/03/2026 between 5-7pm. He was absolutely GREAT! He made us feel safe and he was working hard around the facilities. He was very kind and sweet. We had to pick up a vehicle from here. Note that they tact on 3% fee when paying by credit card even if 95% Of the payment is in cash. They still tact on 3% of the TOTAL fee of what WAS owed. Van Lingen also charges you a $70 fee in order to release your car. That fee is an additional fee that they are selling your car at the exact 30 days it has been in their possession. Like I said .... This is one of the most hated places in the South Bay.

Hey i was in Santa Monica. meet a couple friends everything was going well till we were about to go home i parked a couple blocks away. My friend offered me a ride to my car but felt like walking a bit.So i get to my car trying to start it but no budge sadly. So i started looking on my phone. F or a towing place dialed a couple of them but all had the same answer take almost 2 hours to get where i was. which i thought was bs. So i try Torrance towing someone picks up says hell be here in 15 mins or so. So Will the driver gets here hooks everything with ease says it something with the alternator. I tell him which mechanic to drop the car off . He drops the car off i tell him ill walk home since i live a block away. So pretty much what im saying is if you need a a towing. i recommend torrance towing cause its quick reliable great price. PS. Will was right the mechanic had to get a new alternator read more

I cannot stress enough about how good the service was. I was on my way to Santa Monica on the 405 merging to the highway 10, my alternator busted on me. I managed to put the emergency on without causing any accidents. I looked for a good towing service with manageable pricing and Torrance Towing popped up with good reviews. Customer service was very quick and helpful, she told me that Torrance will be there asap, and within 15 min they were here. After the fix at the garage witch I had to wait for half an hour. Torrance Towing is simply amazing, I was on my way home from work and my tire decided to just explode on me. I was stuck in a random area and needed a tow back to my house luckily I spotted these after numerous other companies for rates and Torrance Towing not only hooked me on the price but they got my car back home safe and sound. Their service is professional and none of that creepy tow trucker driver you have to sit with. We had some good laughs and a professional environment. I was picking up my mom from work late at night. The car wouldn't turn on! We were panicking, we had no idea what was wrong and why it wouldn't turn on. My mom called my dad and he told her to contact Torrance Towing. We called them immediately!!! And they were there to the rescue! We were so satisfied with the service! This was my first tow with a newer car and it was actually an enjoyable experience despite my car being "in a bad mood" I was going to call them based on Yelp reviews at first but hesitated. I did roadside assistance through my insurance and they ended up calling them for me so clearly a sign that it was meant to be. Let me start by saying how great Will is, I was stranded on the side of the road since my car shut off and Will arrived within minutes which surprised me since most companies take about 30 minutes to arrive.
