Great haunted hayride for people that don't want to be scared off the trailer. Probably be much more scary if you were walking, but still great for kids. The ride was long enough and we enjoyed it. I really enjoyed this place it has a lot of potential I will let you know why I give it 3 stars instead of 4 or 5 though. The parking lot is small from what I saw but they might have another part I mean it is a farm. The person directing people to spots was smart and was doing a great job. When we arrived there wasn't anyone here but people started to come we ended up with a full trailer. I got scared at the door by little chuckie it was cute. It's 15.00 for adults and I believe 13 or 12 for under the age of 13. The trailer sits low so you get to see and enjoy everything. The workers are extremely nice I forgot to say that. They have so much land it's crazy ! The scenes are a great idea , and they have a good amount of actors they just need a little more for each set. Some sets were well put together and some were a little cliche. BUT I really did enjoy the scenes they did have , you got lots of time with nothing ( anticipation is great but I also don't want time to drag). I just think this place needs more scenery , or a few actors just randomly sitting on the trailer or randomly popping out even for a second. My other idea is to make sure in the beginning to tell children to stay seated , I saw plenty of children running around while we were moving such a safety hazard. ( parents should know this ). I'm trying not to say much so I don't spoil anything , the concession stand stuff is super pricey , but I mean hey you need candy right ? I liked this place very much though. Haunted hayride 2020 covid style Seven cedars is doing everything possible to give their customers the best experience under the current circumstances. Kudos to the owners for being compliant with these regulations. Now onto the best part, the hayride. Driving through the woods in the dark is eerie enough with the expectation, of somethings gonna happen. Seven Cedars farm has again pulled off a scary enjoyable night out. My 6 yr old wanted to be scared but not too scared. I feel like this was almost the perfect 'scary' Halloween activity for her. The good: 1. Parking was easy with a short walk to the entrance 2. Easy pay (Groupon! and 1 paid credit card super quick!) 3. My daughter loved the characters dressed up, walking through the people waiting and being creepy! 4. No hay! Really liked this 5. Long for your money! 6. The first 2 stops we were laughing! Loved that element The bad: 1. It says the actors cannot touch you but they do jump onto the hayride! And get right into your face! Maybe they should lay off the little little kids! 2. You are in pitch black for long segments of time- beware if you have anyone fearful of the dark. They sell glowsticks at the food station but who would know that as you aren't geared that way until AFTER the ride! 3. You are going up and down small hills while on the ride so make sure you don't get squeezed in you will end up pushing your body weight on your stranger neighbor. Allow for enough space 4. For taking young children they had a little grotesque scenes that maybe they haven't experiences so BEWARE! 5. Some scenes had no actors or not enough 6. We had a long wait. There was a whole carrier sitting there, hooked up and they didn't have it running. We got there at 7 and we didn't get on until 7:50. Could have used a little more entertainment in line. 7. As an avid yelper I saw the sign on here for dough boys and I was so disappointed they did not have doughboys. Or they had chips posted and they had no chips! The Ugly: 1. Porta Potty in the dark! HAUNTED HAYRIDE: We came on a Friday night and there was virtually no wait. Not a lot of people know about this place, so we were seated on a wagon almost immediately. They're very efficient in terms of service - they had three wagons operating. There was no actual hay on this haunted hayride - not a big deal but I was a little disappointed. Otherwise, this was an awesome experience. This is a great place to bring the kids. Adults may not find this as scary as other haunted attractions in the area, but it's still a fun time. The actors really try, and the props are cute. There's a lot of time in between actors jumping out at you, so most of this hayride is just riding through the woods in the dark. It builds anticipation but at times you get bored from waiting. In terms of time, this was the longest haunted attraction I've ever been to. It was approximately 40 minutes long, which was definitely worth the $10 we each paid (Groupon!). I've paid $20+ for haunted attractions that were only about 15 minutes long. This place definitely has a lot of potential. Young kids will love it, and you really have nothing to lose at $10 per person. read more

I had been to the haunted hayride here about 5 or 6 years ago and it was awful. However, I gave it another shot this year and was not disappointed. While it's not terribly scary, I did jump a couple times and you can tell they put a lot of effort into the props. There was a small wait, but for $15 it was pretty long and you got to ride through the woods for at least a half hour. I'd go again next year! read more

Always enjoy going to the 7 cedars haunted hayride.. great props and themes . Love the theme this year, with witches, scary movies and of course Area 51. Well worth the money because you ride through the woods and never know what's going to pop out next. read more

HAUNTED HAYRIDE: We have been coming here every year since they began the hayride 5 years ago. We looked forward to this event as new things were added added each year. However, this year was a complete and total disappointment!! The "actors" were more annoying than scary and there was only a handful of them on this 30 min ride. The props were lacking and most of them were shut down during the hayride. Not scary at all and a total waste of money. $5 per person would have been reasonable for what we got. Looks to me like greed has taken over for quality yet again. Will not be coming back next year! read more

Unfortunately, this is not for anyone over the age of 12. I waited in line for an hour for a 40 minute hayride with minimal scare. I can't say I really jumped once and the actors really geared toward scaring the younger children. Some of the parts along the trail had props but no actors. I would say for a 21 year old this was very anticlimactic. The price wasn't too bad seeing as they had a Groupon (2 adults for $21) but I wouldn't say it was really worth it. I guess I had high hopes based on the reviews I had read on yelp prior to visiting. The trail itself was very sparse, more time riding in the woods in the pitch black than interacting with actual scary actors and there was not one coherent theme. It seemed as though each pit stop tried to mimic a certain scary movie or tv show, which it captivated great with the props and displays but not so much with the 30s to a minute of actual interaction with actors. I've been to better scary attractions in the past but I would definitely recommend this to someone with kids. I think it is geared more toward that audience than anyone looking for a real scare. I will definitely stick with the more professional haunted houses/hayrides next time but I think this is great for a family or group of people with younger children looking to do something fun for Halloween. read more

I went to Seven Cedars Farm last year for the haunted hayride and was extremely impressed. They had great scenes from different horror movies and a few original scenes. I was looking forward to returning this year and I was sadly, extremely disappointed. The great scenes were gone and in place were several very annoying scare actors yelling in people's faces. Not to scare let me be clear, their presence was known, they were just annoying. They had a Jurassic Park scene this year and besides the impressive set decoration, I honestly think the actors just wanted to wear those inflatable T-Rex costumes hence a non scary Jurassic Park portion. Let me explain further by saying when you pull up to the scene the Jurassic Park music is playing and the dinosaurs make their presence known. Then there is a record scratch, dance music starts playing and the T-Rex's start grooving. Everyone in the hayride was hysterically laughing and last I checked I paid money to be scared. Anyway the rest of the ride was extremely mediocre and my heart broke because what was once great had become a bore. I feel like I wasted my money and I had a Groupon, which is the worst feeling. I don't like to be negative however I don't want others to waste their money when they're are better scares in the area. A for effort, F for execution. read more

My son did "community service" at this location. One night a girl who was doing the same was run over by one of the hayride trailers and was screaming in pain. She was seriously injured but the hayrides continued. Less than one week later a similar event happened to Another girl working there. This infuriates me as a parent because safety is Obviously not a concern at Seven Cedars Farm. I will never patronize this "farm" and fear for the safety of the kids working there. I also don't understand why this family relieves Community Service (free labor) while allowing these same kids to be injured. How does this serve the Community?? read more
