OMG this place... so my friends and I went there for the first time and we were given these glow bracelets. We just thought they were to show we paid. While waiting in line we noticed that not everyone had one. We started to wonder why we had these bracelets and not many people did. Well we quickly found out that the bracelets indicated to the people running the event that we wanted to get pushed, grabbed, and dragged through the experience. We had no idea! The person at the front accidentally gave them to us. Anyway, it was quite an experience. They got really physical. I was ok with it, but some of my friends really got scared by it. I wouldn't recommend the extra experience if you have any physical issues, they do get rough. Overall it was a fun night. read more

This was honestly one of the better haunted houses I've been to in Rhode Island. We went with a pretty large group of people- at least 8-9 of us. And we all paid $40 admission each- so there making quite a bit of money. The parking lot is a bit of a disaster with no attendant and cars just kind of ALL over the place. I parked a bit further away because I was fearful a teen would block me in. The upside is you don't have to pay to park- which is great compared to other "haunted" attractions where you have to pay admission as well as parking! Once you park- it's a little confusing on where to go- but you end up seeing the line- which goes up a hill. We paid $40 each I think instead of the regular price of admission which was $20- it allowed us to cut the entire line which was WELL worth it! Because it was extremely long! We got RIGHT IN! I honestly wasn't frightened many times although I did get a little jumpy when I wasn't expecting certain things! Albeit most of the "actors" are teenagers and children- so there enthusiasm level is not what it potentially could be. If you get there early enough you get the better show- but the later you go- you can tell the "actors" are much more tired & less enthusiastic. But overall all the sections were pretty cool. It lasted a good amount of time- although we got chased out by the guys with the chainsaws which was hilarious! All in all- it was a great time- fun was had by all! I would LOVE to bring my horror loving 5 year old son but honestly I'm on the fence as to if it would be appropriate for him. One of my friends had her almost 6 year old son with her and he liked it at first, but was in tears by the end. I think it was the chainsaw volume that scared him- because there were A LOT of them & they were extremely loud! So just a disclaimer may not be suitable for younger kids and anyone who has noise sensitivity may be bothered by the loudness of the chainsaws! If you take away anything from this review- pay the extra $20 to cut the line! read more

Located in Diamond Hill Park, 13th World is quite an unassuming heavyhitter in the haunted house game. Between the setup and the scares, they really put on quite the production. I've been to my fair share of haunted houses, and even with a decent amount of people around us, I found myself screaming a lot more than I thought I would. You have the option to pay a little extra to skip the line. We waited about an hour in line on a Friday night. It might be worth it to skip the line, as it is a boring one. No scares, no decor, just a long, dark, (and cold!) line. This is the one thing that they can improve on. They also have a "touch of fear" feature for a small fee, allowing the actors to touch you. Be weary of positive reviews here - they mostly fake and some that are real are from people who have clearly never been to a good haunted house and have no idea This place sucks. Too short of an experience for an 8-10 min walk through woods and cheap sets. No clear signage on where to go (can't tell you the # of people who thought the exit was the main entrance). No good scares whatsoever. Just teenagers (and kids) in Spirit Halloween masks banging on walls. ZERO innovation and lack basic scare tactics. Absolutely lame. There is FOG room that is kinda cool but holy shit is it a lawsuit waiting to happen. Entire room is filled with white fog and you legit cannot see where you are going. I was looking for an outdoor scary trail and this didn't disappoint!! We parked in the huge annexed parking lot (skinny and long), some dirt/pebbled road). Walking to the attraction builds the anticipation! (We slammed a nip before getting out of the car!) We followed a small crowd to the line to hear the line was 2.5 hours long!!! Side story, I did not purchase tix online. Standing in line, we wear tix are QR code. I quickly buy our tix (with fast pass, 10$ more and SO worth it, cuts at least 30-40 mins off the wait). We walk to the front of the ticket line, scan our codes, flash our fast pass ticket and then wait a total of 20 minutes!!! The entrance gate to the attraction is VERY cool! They have this fog that limits your vision but in a scary way! You walk along these trails and meet new scares along the way! They employ children that almost hit my boyfriend in the face, but as I explained to him, "it's part of the fun, babe!" I paid a total of no more than $70. Worth it in my opinion. Pros: Actually scary at times. Took about 15-20 minutes to get through. Characters available for pics after for free. Cons: Lines not clearly labeled but staff walked around to help out. Sometimes we got close to the other group ( I walk fast ) No real bathrooms, porta potties. But we're in the woods! Would go again!!! read more

Personally, I was not scared at all of the "haunted house." There are no jump-scares. The scariest part of the experience was the ending and even then there was no big final scare. It's a pretty lengthy experience, and the line was extremely long. read more

SAVE YOUR MONEY!!! This place was HORRIBLE. Here's a list of the reasons: Incredibly overpriced, the whole haunt is about 10 minutes long. The line control is horrific which is one of the most important things to manage at a haunt, parties aren't spaced out enough so your scares are going to be ruined by the people in front of you. There's fog room sections where you can't see a single thing and it's literally so thick you can taste it (we had to turn around and go a different way to get out). Bottom line, this is a janky haunt ran by teenagers and isn't even slightly creepy. Complete waste. Spare yourself. read more

The people here were amazing until we got into the actual haunted part. My girlfriend was freaking out and couldn't breath and I told them that she needed to breath but they continued to come at us and scare us. Once of the guys in the cages ass my hair a "gay man bun" and that's super offensive to me. I'm not LGBTQ, but it's definitely not LQBTQ friendly whatsoever. Finally once we got past the church part one of the actors finally helped us out and allowed us to exit showing us where to go. Was super disappointing. We waited 2 and half hours in line....which is fine that wasn't the issue . No one remained 6 feet as much as the people working there tried....people just don't listen. The associates were screaming and fighting with people...the cops even came one situation got so bad. They have no time slot tickets. Any amount of people can buy tickets online and come whenever they are open. Problem being they never know the attendance amount and yesterday shut the line off at 9:15 which caused tons of people showing up to be turned away... I came from mass...if I was turned away driving that far I would be angry too. They need a better system. Most places have time slots to control capacity . The fight that ensued was a much older lady that worked there screaming vulgar things back and forth with 2 teenagers. Super inappropriate and not needed in front of other kids. This haunted house MAY have been good...if it wasn't for when we finally made it to go through ...the man at the entrance told another associate right in front of me that they are just shoving everyone through cause they want to go home! We were literally in a group of 50 people smooshed together walking through. They stopped us at purge but still let a huge amount of us together. There was so many people the actors were running back and forth just screaming and running chainsaws because they had no where to hide because so many people were walking through. My whole group also got tripped walking through the fog. Some little kid was sticking a leg out a door which caused to trip EVERYONE in my group and hit the wall super dangerous....also so much fog! Who's idea was it to have a little kid trip people in an area that has so much fog your choking and can't see!? Someone is going to be seriously hurt!! This haunted attraction lacks signage as to where to go but u definitely can find your way. This is cash only!!! This is a haunted woods walk through. There are many houses along the way with themes ranging from clowns to Freddy. Overall the scare factor is an 8 out of 10. The creative factor was a 10 out of 10. The attraction itself was pretty exciting but the parking lot situation was awful. It is not inexpensive to come to an event like this but there was no parking attendance and many of our cars was blocked in. Police had to come to have cars towed. Only reason it wasn't 5* is because the whole experience was too short, which wasn't a major issue because the price matched. He'll even the line matched. Definitely was worth the time/money. Just came from here and it was a great experience! Pretty long line but they had actors trying to scare us while in line and they had clips of friday the 13th playing so it wasnt too bad. The actors are all great and really became their characters. The fog room at the end was the best because even though it was a little heard to breathe and you couldn't see a thing (i was holding on to my friend and I couldn't even see her face) it was pretty scary by itself because you couldn't see when they were jumping to you or even where they were coming from. Instead you had kids dressed up asking if we were the last on because they were tired and wanted to go home! This was a blast. It is a walk through the woods with cool special effects. The costumes are top notch. The scare factor is top notch. The only reason for 4 stars is although I was a fan of the fog room , the fact that you couldn't see anything was super cool but the smoke was overwhelming. One deep breath and you were gagging. I got that the effect was for panic because a fog filled room with no sight is scary (and it was a cool effect) but If some in my group knew what they were walking into they probably would have skipped it due to their asthma. read more

I was skeptical of how this walk would be, but I was very pleasantly surprised. The acting was great and the makeup and costumes were phenomenal. The length of the walk was about 20 minutes and totally worth it. You get to just stay within your group and not be with other random people so that was really well organized. I hope they keep growing to hire more actors to scare you at every possible second, but that's just me as a thrill lover. Fair warning to everyone reading this, the last section takes you through a maze with lots of smoke that makes it impossible to see or breathe. We had so much fun at 13th World last night. This is one of the best haunted trails we've ever walked through.The actors went all out to scare us and even though we are not easily startled it was a lot of fun. The make up and costumes were great. You can tell they put a lot of effort into this attraction.They all had a lot of personality unlike some places we've been where actors just stand there and don't do much.They also (when asked politely) would allow pictures, unlike some places where they just ignore you if you ask for a picture . Last year my opinion was it needed a lot of work and was not worth the money...this year, wow absolutely awesome, lots of actors, they spaced people out correctly, smaller groups going in which made for a better scare. This place was amazing! Me and my friend drove about an hour to come here and it was worth the drive! The acting was really good we ran through the entire thing it was so scary. But as a warning at the end there is a maze full of smoke and you can't really breath too well and you can't see so if that's a problem for you skip it if you can.
