This store is open and serving customers. As always this store is packed with all kinds of arts and crafts and hobby supplies. They also have a huge selection of picture frames and poster frames that I like to buy when they have sales!! It was easy to find what I was looking for. I had a one hundred dollar that was wrinkled. ( only alil) Cashier said it was bad bill. Isaid no, it's wrinkled. Try it on another machine plz. She put it thru same machine and said It's bad. She had an attitude. She refuse to try it again. She didn't call manager and refused to try in another machine. I went to anther teller and it worked fine. The bill was fine, I canceled an 80.00 Order because of her attitude. I could have used a number of bank cards. I even had more cash. It's the principle. No friendliness, no I'm sorry... I wish I knew the girls name who checked me out, but she checked me out today (01/04/22) and she told me I was so pretty and I'm super socially awkward but I want her to know how much it impacted me. I asked my daughter to pick up some yarn for me because she was shopping nearby. The yarn area is down to about a third of what it used to be. She knows nothing about yarn, I was still hopeful because I thought plenty of sales people would be around to help. After not finding anything she went searching for someone to help. Finally found a salesperson and was told, "What we have is out already." Not anything like " Let me show you where to look", or "The middle of the second isle". So to sum it up, Michaels does not have "salespeople". They have people that stock shelves, cashiers, and others that walk around dodging shoppers and questions. I picked up a lot of the supplies I needed to create my own flower decorations at Michael's. They have just about everything one would need to design their own decorations and stationary. Their prices are substantially lower than other craft stores I have visited and they do carry better brands. It was a great idea because my flowers before have always turned out wonderful. I've been a loyal customer for years but no more. This company has some anal policies and management rules that they enforce I think just to lose customers. I paid to have some artwork done, but decided it needed to be revised. They only had one person apparently that was out so the store manager gave me my source material back which still sat in their inbox untouched and said they would cancel the order the next day. But they never took the charge off my card which I discovered when I got the statement. By then, I'm more interested in getting my money than following up e we it's the revised artwork. Apparently, they think it's fine to cancel an order but keep the money. Sure, I just enjoy giving my money to the credit card company at 21%. I called them up and they insisted that I would have to make another trip down to them just so they could do a refund. But the store manager somehow couldn't do that on my earlier trip. I disputed the charge but in perfect anal fashion, they insisted that I waste my day making another trip just to obey their policy. I try to support big box brick & mortar and get this treatment? The wife needed supplies for some Christmas decorating. We had a long list and they had just about everything on it.

What I love about Michael's is that I can USUALLY find what I need for all my little projects. And the staff here is pretty knowledgeable when it comes to locating an item. I mostly come here for yarn, but have also come for various other craft projects such as cross stitching, making favors or centerpieces for functions, cake decorating supplies, & jewelry making. I've also come for arts & craft supplies for anything from gifts to my kids' science projects. And, though I don't personally do this, they seem to have a good selection when it comes to scrap booking, model making, & wood working. They frequently have coupons on their website, which is a plus. But I'm not a fan of their App; in my opinion, don't even bother...too many glitches. And, their fabric selection is poor; that doesn't really impact me as I seldom work with fabric anyway Go let your imagination run wild & make something fantastic! This is a pretty good Michaels store. Not the cleanest or most organized, but a choice for the North Attleborough area (though, I prefer the Jo Ann superstore across the street). The store was extremely busy today, but many, many checkout registers were open and the staff were all friendly. I was disappointed that at the cash register the checkout scanner kept braking and caused a huge delay in my checkout experience, which I will be calling to get that fixed (that hasn't happened at any other store I've ever been to!). For the store in general, they were out of a few items I was looking for, yet I was still able to find some items that I haven't seen at any of my nearby Michaels (the Westwood store). And they were easily able to use my Jo Ann Coupon without a hassle (like has happened before at other art stores). Anyway, overall this is a good art store in the area, that I don't have a problem with but, but it's nothing to drive out of your way for. Other Michael's are comparable, to normally better. 4 stars. read more

This review is based on the Custom Framing Department. We went there to have my husbands Grateful Dead Poster framed from their Fare Thee Well show this year. The customer service was top notch! From the moment we went in to discuss the details to every question along the way to picking up the final product; they were incredibly knowledgable, helpful and friendly. A few people were working on it which made us concerned at first; but dont allow that to deter you! Every person that had a part in it was talented, responsible and very knowledgeable about Custom Framing. Such a pleaseant experience. And the creativity that was put into it was super as well. The way the added color to match the poster and the care they took with such a valuable item to us does not go unnoticed! I will attach a photo so you can see for yourself what a fantastic job they did! We will definately be back. As I check out other aspects of the store I will report back! Custom framing service, very poor, unprofessional. I had an expensive poster matted and framed. Cost was over$400. Specifically asked if they could do museum quality of matting and framing- meaning that no adhesive is in contact with the Art work and all material is archive quality, acid free material. The department manager assured me they know how to handle the art work valued at $900. The store contacted me when complete, went that day to pick-up, to find my art work torn in two! The store only apologized but offered no compensation, no discount to the matting or framing, nothing for the destroyed art. Brought the art to a restorer, who found they further damaged the Art by glueing it to the mat. The store has no idea how to do quality framing. Do not use the custom framing, your better off buying a stock frame and doing it yourself, better yet take it to a quality custom framer, one who's business is framing not art and craft stuff read more
