Ordered flowers for delivery in FL, I gave wrong address , they rectified everything.. This place is beyond wonderful.. I would recommend to everyone.. Thank you

I ordered these flowers for same day delivery to a workplace in Providence. They were exactly as depicted in photos on their website, the price was reasonable, they arrived at the expected time, and they were enjoyed by the recipient. What's better than that? It's a much better experience than online companies.

"Roses blush vase arrangement" from Mother's Day menu

My boyfriend gets me roses from Frey Florist and they're usually soo beautiful, however Mother's Day was a disappointment. I paid around $95 for flowers which some were already going bad and they looked way better online. I get that flowers are expensive on holidays and I don't mind paying the price but it was disappointing to see that the pictures were misleading. I also don't know how any business would be comfortable giving flowers when some are clearly going bad (you can't really tell in the picture) but I felt like I paid for stop&shop quality. I couldn't tell if that's what their supplier gave them or if the flowers were prepared days in advance, but I was embarrassed giving these to my boyfriend's mom. I didn't feel like calling to complain because they're a small business and I know holidays are stressful. They deliver excellent customer service and usually have very beautiful flowers, so I would still recommend this business.

Some roses I grabbed from the arrangement.

I ordered an arrangement for my grandmothers services this week which, due to obvious emotions, I was overly worried wouldn't be perfect since I had never ordered from Frey before. I was overjoyed to see that the arrangement was PERFECT today. Each and every rose was gorgeous and the greenery was out of this world. Thank you so much for brightening a dark day. You'll be getting more business from me in the future!

I was looking to purchase a remembrance plant for a close friend after the loss of her husband, and had to call around to several florists to find someone who could get a nice palm plant to be delivered the next day. The woman I spoke to at Frey was very helpful and patient during such an emotional time, and was able to answer all of my questions promptly and professionally. They provided a beautiful, healthy palm tree delivered the next day and made sure someone was home so it would not sit on the porch in the bitter cold. They were upfront about the pricing and there were no hidden fees like other florists I quiz to get that information. A nice experience during a difficult time.

For the last 4 years, while I was studying out of state at Providence College, my boyfriend from home depended heavily on this flower shop to send me flowers when he couldn't deliver them himself. The florists at this shop never failed to impress me! Their arrangements are absolutely stunning and they always arrived on time and in perfect condition. Please shop small and support this local florist shop whenever you can, you will not be disappointed.

I was looking for a nursery that could supply a terracotta plate for my struggling chili pepper plant and had called about 4 other local garden supply stores didn't have stock in it. I then called Frey Florist and a man surprised me by asking me why I wanted the plate and then proceeded to dissuade me from purchasing it for my own good (the porous terracotta would have left a watermark on my woodwork). I was impressed that he challenged what I thought I needed in order to get me what I really need and so I took a chance and drove over. I'm so glad I did, because I got more than I ever expected to receive. The business is nestled in a residential neighborhood near PC, so you really need to look for it otherwise you will just pass right by. I walk in, everything is beautiful, verdant, smells fantastic with gorgeous flower displays intended for delivery to various lucky recipients. The florist found a less expensive plate than the original one I asked for that matched my pot perfectly for size, gave me a liner so that draining water wouldn't rot my woodwork, and then as I'm chatting about my hot pepper plant woes, spends a good 15 minutes instructing me: explaining soil, how the plant roots should look, potential problems and how I can visually inspect my plant for them, advised on the problem he thought I had (dry soil), and then recommended that I dig in there, break up the soil, compact it further and work on my watering technique. He assured me that I should see a result in 24 hours, and I'm happy to report that everything that he told me came to fruition (see before & after of the chili plant I posted). 5 stars for caring, knowledgeable service and especially for helping me keep my chili pepper plant alive. Thanks Frey Florist!

Amazing handpick flowers by the owner for my friend's concert! The only place I go in providence!

My all time favorite flower shop in providence! Ordered multiple times from online and in-store. Never disappointed!

This place is every plant lovers dream, it's like walking into the rainforest, they have plants galore and even some adorable animals! They have 2 birds and koi fish and it fits the setting so beautifully. Let me start off by saying it looks like this is a mill with quite a few places inside of it, so they have a pretty good parking area. When you walk into you are kindly greeted, we met Adam who was a peach! There actually were quite a few employees, always around and willing to help, because plant galore is an understatement. Every plant is labeled and you can tell WELL taken care of. Adam and another gentlemen were watering the plants while we were there and you could tell, everything here is done in a very particular and careful way- I love that. When I say TONS of plants of all kinds I mean it. While my mother has a green thumb, and I just don't have plants because my cats will eat anything- I learned after the fact their website shows names and pictures of plants they have that are pet-friendly, so I want to indeed go back and grab some. This place you can get easily be in for a while especially if you look at everything. They also have pots and things of that nature and little trinkets and stuff. They also have a little area to grab Honey related drinks called The Hive Bar I wrote a review on this business. Feel free to check it out they're awesome and an amazing touch for this place. I 100% say go check this place out. Any questions, just ask an employee they're all so kind and know their stuff. Adam had all the answers we needed. Oh and I was shocked the prices were extremely reasonable, my mom left with a really cool plant- and I plan on bringing her again soon.

In the middle of Broadway, there is a house covered in greenery…read more If this were a world of magic, you might assume this was the home of the local herbalist--a place where you'd knock on the door looking for some mysterious remedy made from roots and leaves. And yet, there actually is something a little magical happening here. I've always loved the idea of having plants in my home. The problem is that buying one usually comes with a sudden avalanche of questions: Where am I going to put this? Is this the right pot? How much do I water it? Does it need direct sunlight? Is this even the right plant for me? Am I just paying $30 to slowly murder this thing? Those questions have honestly kept me from buying plants for years. Then, on a whim, my wife and I walked through the door here. I fully expected to leave with a beautiful plant that I would bring home, admire for a few weeks, accidentally kill, and eventually apologize to while throwing it away. Instead, I think they may have turned me into a plant person. The first thing that makes this place special is the space itself. This residential house has been transformed into what feels like a living, breathing home filled with beautiful, youthful plants. The selection feels purposeful, and everything is placed so naturally that there's a flow as you wander from room to room. It never feels like you're walking through a store with inventory lined up on shelves. It feels like you're touring someone's wonderfully eccentric home and discovering all the little things they've collected along the way. There are even things tucked into corners or sitting on tables that look so perfectly at home that I'm still not 100% sure whether some of them are actually for sale. And somehow, every time I visit, I notice something I swear wasn't there before. A new plant. A piece of pottery that feels far too nice for what it costs. Some strange little decorative treasure. A seashell that suddenly becomes the perfect new home for an old plant you brought back to be repotted. You can walk in thinking you have a quick errand to run and realize 45 minutes later that it has become one of the most enjoyable parts of your week. There's something genuinely calming about wandering through the rooms and seeing what you discover. But as beautiful as the plants and the space are, they aren't what ultimately made me want to keep coming back. It's the people. There is something wonderfully contagious about how excited the staff gets about your plants. When you make a choice, they don't react like someone who just rang up another item. They make you feel like you somehow discovered the coolest plant in the entire building. Their enthusiasm makes your purchase feel personal--as though you didn't just buy something; you picked your plant. And if you're someone like me who walks in knowing approximately nothing, there is never a feeling that you should already know the answers. They'll travel through the rooms with you, answer questions, help you figure out what works with the light in your home, talk through pots and care, and steer you toward something that actually fits your life. You leave not only excited about what you bought, but confident that the plants in your arms might actually survive living with you. That completely changed plant shopping for me. And the relationship doesn't necessarily end when you swipe your card. They seem to care about the plants they sell almost like someone who fostered an animal and still wants occasional updates to make sure it's doing okay. You can bring plants back when they need some extra TLC. They'll repot them. They can help care for and water them while you're away. There's a wonderful feeling that if something starts going wrong, you have somewhere to bring it besides Google at 11:30 at night while searching, "Why are my plant's leaves turning brown?" And if they don't have what you're looking for, they actually remember. Mention that you've been searching for a bonsai tree, and a month later your phone might light up with a text and a picture: Look what came in. That kind of service is increasingly rare. It turns what could have been a simple retail transaction into a relationship. I originally walked through that greenery-covered house expecting to buy a plant I would probably kill. Now I walk in excited to see what's new. Somewhere along the way, they didn't just sell me plants. They took away the uncertainty that had kept me from owning them in the first place. They made learning about them fun, made caring for them feel manageable, and made buying one feel less like bringing home a decoration and more like adding another small living thing to your home. So maybe my first impression was right. Maybe there is a little magic in that house on Broadway after all.
