I drive by this business during my commute to and from work, and have wanted to write a review for…read moreseveral months now. But, an unusually cool spring has left this business appearing as quiet as the proverbial Maytag repair shop. Despite the uncooperative weather that squelched this year's spring fever, I saw the owner faithfully tending to his plants (I've seen him out there as early as 7:30 a.m.) over the past few months. Now that it's taken until the latter part of May and the beginning of June for spring to have finally taken root, this store is now in its full glory, and the time seemed ripe for a visit. This business is located on a busy commercial road, next to a small convenience store (both businesses share the same parking lot). Speaking of parking, there isn't much, but then again, I've never seen a lot of activity on weekdays, during working hours (I can't vouch for evenings or weekends). I'm not so sure that the Yelp category of nursery/garden center most accurately describes this business, since they don't appear to actually grow the plants on premises, at least from what I could observe. I wouldn't categorize them as a florist either. Instead, I would describe them as a plant retailer. I don't know how or where this business obtains the plants it sells, but I will say they appeared very vibrant and healthy - in better condition than the typical big box stores, and as good or even better than many large nurseries. They sell mostly flowers, but a few vegetable plants as well, such as tomatoes, cucumbers and peppers. Most of their flowers are in hanging pots, but some are in temporary containers, with the intention they will be replanted indoors or outdoors. For the small size of the store, they have a decent variety of flowers. Some stands displaying the plants are outdoors, and some stands are indoors. The man who I presume was the owner was friendly, without being pushy. Referring to several empty display stands indoors, he said he was very busy last weekend and sold many plants, but will be restocking soon. My wife is a bigger plant shopper than me, so I don't have as good a handle on prices, but the prices here seemed like good deals to me. Several potted plants could be bought for $4.99. Some were around $10. Others, like some cucumber plants around three feet tall, were $15. Many of the hanging plants were about $20, such as the particularly beautiful fuschia (which I saw selling for about $5 more at a nursery). The store is nothing fancy, mostly table after table of plants. The owner's 'office' at the front of the store consisted of a recliner and portable television about the size of an old-school transistor radio. I ended up buying a cherry tomato plant, about two feet tall, for a mere $2 - nowadays, $2 won't get you a decent cup of coffee! I definitely plan on returning, since the owner seems friendly, and the plants appear very healthy and reasonably priced.

While I'm not a plant owner really- my mother is, and when she wanted to come here I brought her…read moreand I'm so glad I did. This place is every plant lovers dream, it's like walking into the rainforest, they have plants galore and even some adorable animals! They have 2 birds and koi fish and it fits the setting so beautifully. Let me start off by saying it looks like this is a mill with quite a few places inside of it, so they have a pretty good parking area. When you walk into you are kindly greeted, we met Adam who was a peach! There actually were quite a few employees, always around and willing to help, because plant galore is an understatement. Every plant is labeled and you can tell WELL taken care of. Adam and another gentlemen were watering the plants while we were there and you could tell, everything here is done in a very particular and careful way- I love that. When I say TONS of plants of all kinds I mean it. While my mother has a green thumb, and I just don't have plants because my cats will eat anything- I learned after the fact their website shows names and pictures of plants they have that are pet-friendly, so I want to indeed go back and grab some. This place you can get easily be in for a while especially if you look at everything. They also have pots and things of that nature and little trinkets and stuff. They also have a little area to grab Honey related drinks called The Hive Bar I wrote a review on this business. Feel free to check it out they're awesome and an amazing touch for this place. I 100% say go check this place out. Any questions, just ask an employee they're all so kind and know their stuff. Adam had all the answers we needed. Oh and I was shocked the prices were extremely reasonable, my mom left with a really cool plant- and I plan on bringing her again soon.

Thank god they clearly mark the entrance otherwise, it is a bit confusing. You kind of walk into a building hallway and then you can't miss the shop on the left. It's definitely a plant lovers oasis. It's a bit overwhelming how many wonderful things they offer. Multiple employees asked if I needed any help which I appreciated. I need to go back in with pictures of my space as I will certainly be taking them up on their offer next time. Also loved that they have the little infused honey coffee/drink spot inside of the plant oasis. Depending on what you are looking for they have small, super reasonably priced plants, and large plants that are going to run you a few hundred dollars. So whether you are looking for a showpiece or a housewarming gift, you'll be able to find it here! (Also loved the Plant Daddy branding!)

The staff was super welcoming and friendly, and happy to answer any questions. They even had some cookies and hot chocolate for a cold, windy day. I really loved the selection of their charms, very reasonably priced at $12 and laid out in a cute display. I purchased two and really had to hold back from not grabbing everything I saw! Upon purchase, they gave me an amazing gift bag for coming in and supporting a local business, which was unexpected and so delightful. The bag included a tea towel, stickers, note cards and a small candle. Probably worth more than what I purchased in total. This is the type of store that I love finding and really recommend going in and visiting the downtown area in general as there is plenty of parking and a lot of cool businesses and restaurants!

Personally, I love their wishbone and horseshoe necklaces -- they come in silver or gold and make a great gift. My favorite part about them is the closure -- it's a beautiful hook with delicate little gem stones. It's just so pretty and dainty, it makes the whole design that much more precious. My favorite item, however, are their incredibly soft and stylish infinity scarves. I love, love, love mine SO much, that when I lost my first one, I immediately went back to the shop to replace it -- that's how much I cannot live without it! The scarves come in a few different patterns and are all in the cream/grey theme, which I love. They do have a few additional patterns, as well. The women who work at Noon are all so sweet and so friendly. You can tell they absolutely love the design concept and cherish the items they sell. The store itself is really cute and totally worth popping into to look around. And if you're looking for a gift for a man in your life, they have these gorgeous cutting boards with the state of RI branded into them -- how cool is that?! Parking can be a bit tricky, especially on Waybossett so I recommend finding a spot on Westminster or around there -- it's a short walk just around the corner.
