And honestly for the price, the experience was perfectly fine, but if you're hoping for a more relaxing and peaceful escape, this probably isn't going to deliver. So to start, I arrived and quickly checked in. The massage therapist immediately greeted me and took me to the room for the massage. The room was super bright with tons of sunlight pouring in which is different than the dimmer rooms I'm used to for massages. Instead of calming music of any kind, I enjoyed the constant sound of traffic from Gallows Road. The atmosphere felt more clinical than cozy, with the smell of cleaning products lingering in the air rather than any soothing aromatherapy. The massage itself was decent but a bit disjointed. There wasn't much flow to the session, and it felt like each side of my body got a different massage. Additionally my lower back didn't get any attention, which was a bit of a letdown as it's been tight. Still, the massage therapist was kind and professional, and I left feeling relaxed enough given the price point. If you are looking for a quick and affordable massage to relieve some tension, this place does the trick. If you are after a full spa experience with calming scents, tranquil music, and a peaceful atmosphere, you may want to explore other options.

This place is legit!…read more I previously had my first treatment at a place in Annandale and did not know how a Laser paramedical spa should carry themselves. A year later, I came here and realized THIS is how things should be done. Front desk explained EVERY SINGLE STEP and provided a long description of what we should feel, expect, and precautions we should take to ensure our face healed properly. Any question we had, our technician answered professionally and also showed compassion in regards of the pain level and discomfort. This is why I waited so long to leave my other review at the other establishment because again, the service was NIGHT & DAY in comparison. Night and day meaning this place is a 5 star and the other is at most a 2 star. No, Yelp did not pay me to write this review haha it's outrageous someone would assume this or even try to message with a law suit. If reviews are written professionally without derogatory terms or insults then do not be scared to be honest!

I will be honest with you, the facility isn't the most fancy schmancy, it's not a day spa, but don't be fooled by those places, cause they don't always work. That was what was told to me by a friend who tried somewhere else first, it didn't work, then came here. I have brown hair and fair skin. My understanding of laser hair removal is you need a tech who is experienced working with your skin color and hair type, it matters in hair removal. Mclean Laser Center was recommended to me by a friend with blond hair and fair skin, and a friend with dark skin and dark hair and it worked for both of them. Tips: Park in the lot across the street that doesn't appear to be connected to anything. Don't park by the building, there are so many restrictions, and don't park in a lot for another business on the same side of the road, you aren't allowed and i have had a note left on my car that the next time it will be a ticket. If you don't already have a package, you will be required to pay a deposit. They do match groupon prices. Make sure you aren't taking any antibiotics when you come, and certain medicines that affect the skin (like accutane or retinol (i think?) anything that makes you more sensitive to the sun) cause you can't get laser while on those medicines. Once you make the appointment you will need to confirm it a few days before. Be sure to tip! PS - YES IT DOES HURT!

Pros: - friendly staff. I felt welcomed and very comfortable. - clean office - QUICK! I was in and out in 15 minutes, if that! - great work! Cons: - a few times they forgot to laser an area that was included in what I had paid for. At first I did not say anything, but in subsequent sessions I called their attention to it and they lasered the area. Just speak up and they kindly listen and work with you. - a little painful, but it was so quick, plus the results were amazing, so the pain was bearable.

This has truly been the worst experience of my life. I cannot imagine how these people have the…read moreaudacity to call themselves professionals--and now I understand why their ratings are so low. First off, the person who was supposed to perform my laser hair removal--Laila Bandahan--is truly unprofessional; she was always more concerned about the payment than about the actual results. We agreed on a treatment plan consisting of six sessions, with payments to be made in installments based on the results. During the first session, she asked me *only* about the payment; I paid her, and she spent a mere five minutes on the session itself, claiming that her machine was so good that I wouldn't need any more time than that. As it turned out, by the third day, my face looked exactly the same as before. I returned for my second appointment; she attended to me but claimed she didn't know I was coming--despite the fact that an appointment had clearly been scheduled! I explained the lack of results from the first session, but she simply told me, "You have to make the payment before I can treat you," and she completely ignored the complaint I had just voiced. I have undergone this treatment at other places before, but because I recently moved, I tried to find a place closer to my new home. However, I am telling everyone in the DMV area: do not go anywhere near this clinic! Honestly, it is useless. They are unprofessional and are only interested in collecting your money without caring at all about the actual results. Take note: don't even bother coming in or calling. You run the risk of simply losing your money. I wasted $250 on a laser appointment only to have absolutely nothing done. To top it off, neither Laila nor a certain "Doctor" who works there made any effort to explain *why* the results were so poor. I've attached a photo of the place; if there were a "Mega-Score" category for bad service, believe me, I would be the first person to give it to them. Honestly, I don't even know how they are still in business when all they do is steal people's money.
